It is naive to compare Nigeria economy quagmire with that of America. Before the global recessions that shook the entire world at that time, America's economy stood on solid foundation. Nigeria problem is foundational and it will require holistic, bold and painful measures to addressing the root causes. Previous governments were window dressing the root problems because they wanted to be in the good book of the public even when they knew it was not sustainable. I could remember vividly made a scathing remark against the government borrowing to pay workers salaries, billions of dollars to defend naira in the forex market and many others like sham subsidy. Borrowing is not totally bad provided it used for viable infrastructure development and transparency is always maintained.

The present tax system initiated by the government of Tinubu is best lately except u are mischievous and you lack comprehension on what is contained in previous tax system.... that is when you will say this present tax reform is overtaxing...

He is not a collosal failure as you postulated. The road to economy prosperity is very tough and it requires painful decisions. The reforms of the present government especially floating of forex market, removal of subsidy and many others, if sustained for for another ten years, will be the best and it will soon usher us into economy emancipation. Nigeria stock market is one of the best in the world right now. Intelligent Nigerians are cashing out in millions. The benefits of these reforms will soon trickle down to other sectors of the economy because the present government has taken the right steps in some policy decisions. Kudos to cardoso

Today is June 12 which is set aside to mark both democracy day and the date our transition to democratic rule was truncated by the military with assistance from characters like Arthur Nzeribe whom Obi was running errands for in his ABN.

It was even Obi that served the court order to the then NEC office in Abuja to halt the announcement of the results of the 1993 elections.
