Ok
Just listen to Azikiwe una Father.
Did Azikiwe una father lie about Ojukwu and his clique?

Did Azikiwe lie when Azikiwe told you, his own flesh and blood that Ojukwu had blindfolded and hoodwinked his people into fighting a War?

To hoodwink means to deceive!!

Azikiwe is here telling his people that Ojukwu deceived them into fighting a War.
Azikiwe was an insider!!

Let Ohaneze admit that what Ojukwu presented at Aburi was almost the same as the Regional Autonomous system the British had brilliantly designed and which Gen Ironsi had destroyed with Ojukwu's full and eager support

Haba fear God Almighty na!!

What do you mean by warriors? Without weapons you dont call yourself a warrior. They never stood a chance against an armed opponent, they re refugees , permanently displaced from their ancestral homes, no shame is worse than that.
You are missing the point but it’s ok
I am not referring to their odds of victory which we all know is shortened by various unmentionable factors
I am talking about their martial prowess

point of correction, these are not Nigerians they are Yorubas in the real sense. The Yoruba culture, traditions and custom is one that has amazed scholars world over in the sense that it has been maintained over centuries and decades of slave trade and deliberate attack unlike other African cultures that didn’t survive the wash down but have died and forgotten with the slave trade era. Yoruba is a race that can’t be pushed aside.

It is the reason we are excelling in entertainment, in economy and other socio-cultural activities world over.

If you have any doubt about what I wrote up there, go watch the documentary “Bigger than Africa”

Some people will argue this based on our performance with boko haram and other internal insecurities.Nigeria police and the military are very effective and dedicated, this is the reason why we do well in foreign countries for peace keeping. The only thing is that our government is not serious to end the insecurity in the country.

Politics › Re: Top 10 Africa’s Strongest Country By Military Strength by LZAA: 6:11pm On Jun 15, 2025
Kemetian:
It was actually in the 70s and 80s that Nigeria was militarily weak, especially following the civil war, which prevented it from challenging the apartheid regime military.

If apartheid was happening today in South Africa, Nigeria would have launched an invasion. They have the fighter jets to overpower South African defences today.

You have no idea how much investment has gone into the military by now. Countless billions of dollars.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking that because there is Boko Haram and stuff, the military is weak. They are under orders not to escalate with heavy weaponry, in order to avoid mass civilian casualties. Absent of that, terrorists would be gone in 3 days.

But for conventional warfare, military versus military, country vs country, Nigeria is 31st in the world, placing it above several European countries including Portugal, Switzerland, Greece etc, and 3rd in Africa.
Actually the military reached it's peak at the 70s to early 80s
By the mid 80s it fell into a steep decline which it arose from by the mid noughties
Even at that the south african military firepower is quite superior
It's common knowledge
