This is why by the rule of thumb, I detest dating work mates. Sad enough that life is being lost with this lovey dovey stuff....I can only say your silence is complicit in sending some of your patients to their early grave. Speak out... Confront your boss and get fired or get retained. Anyway it goes!

This is a very serious and sensitive issue that must be treated with wisdom..

Op one thing you must understand is that your boss is no longer himself..
The lady has pressed his mumu bottom either by juju or by juicy womanliness..
This is why you should not fight against the lady directly, else you loose your job..
I will advice you to find a way and secretly tell his wife the whole story..
Tell her that you are concern about how emergency patients lost their lives as a result of the side chick's attitude to work..
The wife with the help of the family members of the man will know what to do..
Are you sure she won't lose her job by telling the wife especially after husband and wife settle and the wife revealed how it all happened. Don't forget it's a private practice
.. The boss can do and undo

Pls if u 've got a well paying job thank God for your life....
Cos u won't be under any pressure to think of abroad as an alternative....
Who will not like to be in nigeria if it works....
A country where a graduate earns 30 thousand a month n u want him to be happy....
No social cushion, No institutional support of any kind....
Very harsh and hostile environment with workers being owed for months....
Canada is so cold n lonely, yet securing it's visa is a testimony to most nigerians....
There's nothing to be proud about as a Nigerian....
Even my Pakistani friend here in uk once told me nigeria is a big disappointment.....
The only time an average nigerian can enjoy that country is if he's fortunate enough to attain the most senior/executive level of his career...
At that level, he's almost at par with his foreign counterparts as far as renumeration n comfort are concerned....
Most people attain that level well into their 40s anyway when the allure of abroad would have diminished.....
No Argument! You are absolutely on point!
In short in 2016 after necessary exams, I moved to start my PhD..got to embassy I was turned down. I just dropped the ambition for now and continue getting the money and catering for my family..maybe the VO would like my face sometimes later....
but really I feel no pressure about travelling. I need just their certificate so as to secure better placements be in TEPNL, SPDC, NLNG or any better org.
Thanks for your insight!

abi. I fail to understand why pple just crave all these abroad so much. at best i want just necessary academic certs from there just to up my pay exponentially back here in nigeria in the o&g industry.

just wondering what pple think of nigeria...u pay high rents in those countries abroad. u make just enough to cater ur expenditures. thanks to exchange rate that give them leverage over nigerians only in nigeria. maybe there are things am missing here...well many opportunities abound there but e no reach to regard ur formative years in nigeria as wasted.

5k monthly? Is dawan money... Kindly introduce me to her cos I fit double it for her monthly as long as regular shagging will be available. I spend more than that on useless Lagos girls on regular bases without even having their hands to shake lest to say see the color of their pants grin

It would be fewer, Lagos is a city of 20 million people and counting.
Still so many unemployed in both cities, that's also the reality.

I'm female by the way.
Noted, ma. Is it Abuja you presently stay?

I really don't get why people say the above.

There are many types of jobs in Abuja not just politics. Do establishments not have employees? Do the embassies, hotels, restaurants, real estate/ construction company's not have employees and owners? What about the markets, the banks? What about catering? The only Lagos specific jobs are those that are in some head quarters because they are located there, the wharfs and businesses to do with the ports. All other businesses are in both Lagos and Abuja so have people both owning and employed there.

We all know ashawos exist in both Lagos and Abuja.

There are major negatives that impact the lives of Lagosians negatively that just don't exist in Abj like the daily 'agbero toll' heaped on the heads of the poor, the frustrating traffic that affects both rich and poor. The noise pollution and general bad air quality. Let alone the aggressive and oppressive nature of Lagos and many of its people.

The main complaint Lagosions have about Abj is so called boredom or calmness. Never the aspects above that I pointed out about Lagos.
I actually like as you elucidated your points but take note sha that jobs are fewer in Abuja than Lagos, Bro. that's the reality!

Abeg, say what you know. These different forms of hasty generalization is cliche. There are call girls in other states. Many of them travel down to Abuja to do their "runs", in the end, they get tagged as the "70percent of Abuja girls".

You think you are the only one that hustles in a legit manner? There are so many people out here who work very, very hard(genuinely) to make ends meet.
Am saying what am sure of Bros altho no statical back up. NOA has no such data on olosho. Lol. While you may know legit hustlers that doesn't translate into invalidation of my stated point. I lived more than 7 years in Abuja since 2006 and still visit frequently. Most ladies are jobless and they even don't see anything wrong in suggesting sex (most times joking with them jus to know how desperate they are) before you assist them for job... As if it's normal.
Many things are happening in Abuja if you know you know

The only traffic jam we have here is usually caused by traffic lights and it does not last beyond 86 seconds. Anything beyond that, just know that a Lagosians has a hand in it.

See this babe.
Why should there be traffic congestion when no major economic activity is ongoing apart from sharing money! Traffic congestion is characteristic of any economically boisterous city... Check LA, NY, Tokyo and others...

What jobs are there in Abuja aside government and so called uniform jobs which they all have to warm a politician bed to secure. More than 70% of ladies especially singles are call girls.. They won't tell you this.
Economic survival in Abuja is harder.. No reasonable money bringing hustles unlike Lagos here and that's why starting off life is difficult more for men in Abuja but very easy for flirty woman of cheap virtues who can sleep with all money bags

It is not just the word, the lyrics and rhythm. I sincerely hope you have listened to both songs carefully before concluding. From the guitar to the hook the similarity is very obvious.
Broooos ye! I hope it's the same version of Simi and Uwaifo song we listened too. Uwaifo looks more of afrobeat/highlife while Simi sounded more of contemporary pop. No noticeable similarities. I will make sure I listen to both songs against this week... Nothing similar

Dappertwayne:
A vast majority of comments glaringly show that most of y'all are ill-informed as regards IP laws . Firstly, Intellectual property has 3 branches viz Copyright, Patents and Trademarks. Secondly, for copyright protection (which sir uwaifo is claiming under), you don't have to register your work as protection is automatic as long as it satisfies the requirements of originality and fixation....Thirdly, in certain instances, mere titles can be protected under the law. This is where the person claiming ownership of such word can prove he birthed such word or such word arose from his coinage...Now,i don't know much about the origin of the word 'Joromi' but if uwaifo can prove he's the innovator of the word, as well as the meaning ascribed to it as used by Simi in the song, then she's in trouble big time
P.S: I'm not a lawyer, I'm still learning the ropes as an undergrad
Exactly, if he can prove he created that word 'joromi' bur how sure we are that the word hasn't been in existence long before the man put it in his song
