By Emeka Mamah Enugu—The Enugu State House of Assembly has asked Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to revoke all undeveloped parcels of land allocated to individuals and corporate organisations in the urban areas in the state urgently. The House also asked the governor to either retain the lands when revoked or re-allocate them to those willing to develop them for immediate use. The resolution followed a motion sponsored by the Deputy Speaker of the House, Donatus Uzogbado and 22 others. Uzogbado had while presenting the motion said that undeveloped lands had become breeding grounds for criminals and should, therefore, be reallocated to those willing to develop them quickly, without stating the period of time such lands have to be developed. “It is disheartening to discover that over a period of time, some people/agencies allocated government lands have either abandoned them or refused to develop them as stipulated in their allocation letters. “Some have kept such lands for better deals in future. Mr. Speaker, this is not progressive and, therefore, unacceptable. It is worrisome that land agents/speculators will always position themselves at vantage positions to acquire lands for gains instead of needs,” Uzogbado added. In his contribution, Sunday Ude-Okoye, representing Awgu North Constituency suggested that the lands to be revoked should not only be lands acquired by individuals but also Federal Government’s agencies.

By Evelyn Usman Lagos—Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC yesterday, stormed the Ikoyi home of former Minister of State for Defence, Mr Musiliu Obanikoro and allegedly went away with some vehicles and other valuables. Obanikoro was not at home when they visited, as he was said to be out of the country. Obanikoro’s media aide, Jonathan Eze, alleged that the officials harassed occupants of the building, among whom was Obanikoro’s wife. Eze, in a statement issued to Vanguard at about 7.40pm said “Today, (yesterday) officials of EFCC invaded Senator Obanikoro houses in Ikoyi with unnecessary force and harassment of occupants who are mainly kids, teenagers, his wife and daughters in-law, carting away cars, wristwatches and other valuables. “This is against the backdrop of the fact that the anti-graft agency has never invited him or his son for questioning beyond the allegations they have been propagating in the media. ''We are using this medium to draw the attention of all Nigerians to yet another infringement on the fundamental and inalienable rights of the Obanikoro family. ''Lovers of freedom should not wait until our democracy is put at irreversible damage. The list of human rights violations and political persecution has reached an alarming rate. “We see this as a further show of shame of this present administration which is hell bent on politically persecuting its perceived opponents in other to stoop them and rubbish their hard earned reputation of untainted public services. “To our chagrin, the vehicles driven away were cars and trucks bought since 2006 and thereabouts, when Senator Obanikoro served as an Ambassador in Ghana among others which obviously has no bearing with the purported investigation they are supposedly carrying out. ''Senator Obanikoro has consulted with his Lawyers and is prepared to meet them in court to stop this intrusions and persecution” Eze stated. Spokesperson for the Commission, Wilson Uwajaren who confirmed the raid, said; “Its true that our men went there today. Its part of the investigation involving Obanikoro and his two sons . But nobody was harassed. Anybody familiar with the EFCC knows that we don’t harass people. Our men went there to do their lawful duty”.

Seriously, there are some legendary comedy movies that I can't watch like 10 times and still laugh like its my first time.

Some of the movies are

2 Comebacks
3 How I met your mother
4 Mr Bones

For the case of How I met your mother, its a series movie having 9 seasons. I watched this seasons completely reach 7 times... What's ur landers.!!

I worship @ RCCG, what I like most is sunday school. And more to that, they can TEACH the scripture very well!
