I will like to take us back to the intention of the creator when He created the first man.

Imagine a man who created an estate and handed over the management into the hand of his son. He made sure his son will never have to sweat or hussle before things work out for him. The man's pleasure was only to see his son prosper in managing His estates.
He gave rules to the son to run things with, but the opposition came and tricked the son with sweet words, the son wanted to play smart and instead of consulting with his father, he ignorantly sold his right of ownership to this enemy out of disobedience to his father's rules.
It hurt the father though, yet He couldn't forcefully take back what the son had lost back to him.

Now the new manager (prince of the world) orders to be fair only to those who worship him, but the father says to His son "if you can decide not to worship my enemy and endure the outcomes of not worshipping him, you will get back your estate".

God created man likewise, but man lost his lease on the earth to the devil who now controls the wealth of the earth. There are things that happens that breaks God's heart, but He just won't do anything for reasons that are beyond Us. As you woke up today not knowing how it happened and people died, you can't explain why. It's the same with so many unanswered questions of life.

The Bible shows that it broke God's heart that He had created man, Why! ......:because all man's thoughts are towards evil. Maybe if He had created us as robots so that we can only do his will without objections would have been better, but His pleasure is in seeing us use our will to accomplish our wish.

The secret of the Lord is with them that fears Him. You still have the right to believe what you want though, but remember that if the son worships his father's enemy in order to enjoy wealth, he definitely cannot have his father's love when the time comes.... he will only share the fate of the one he worships.
But the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Some call Him God, some call Him Creator but whatever name you call Him, I'll keep believing in His existence until some mysteries are solved. Prayer on the other hand I see differently. The Bible states clearly that He created all things for His pleasure. That clears it all for me. If what gives Him pleasure at a point is to give life, He gives it. If it gives Him pleasure to see you smile, He allows it. If it gives Him pleasure to see a child with fatal prognosis live again, He makes it happen. We weren't created to question His decisions we were made for His pleasure. We can only commune with Him to please let our smile, peace, good health and well being give Him pleasure. 'Alara jowo fimi dara to dara'. We all at some point in life have questions but when we remember that we were created for His pleasure, we can only plead that seeing us happy gives Him pleasure. *singing* we will understand it better by and by.

did it occur to you that if all sick people's prayers were answered, you will have no livelihood? Even the bible records that in His hometown, Jesus could not do any mighty work there because of the unbelief of the people.

I am a personal testimony that prayer and healing are as real as it gets. I will not share my story here, but my experience is enough to confirm that prayer works, and healing is also available. Yes, mine took time to get, but I got it eventually.

Besides, are you aware that many Eastern religions also heal people? Read Yonggi Cho's Book on "The Fourth Dimension". You will understand these things better.

Unless you persist in lying to yourself, you would see that a counter to this post in respect to this question is nothing but stoking the flame of argument. Go through the religious section and tell me that there's a dearth of write-ups of greater detail, weight and importance on this issue as well as other issues, as dealt with in threads and comments of a number of theists that shouldn't have led to the conversion of atheists before now. While you consistently deny incontrovertible proofs of God's existence through the reports of people who were medically certified dead, brain dead, only to return to life to give their message of the afterlife and it has not lead to the conversion of hundreds of atheists and unbelievers then you expect a counter reply to do that. Are you real?

Like father Abraham in the Word of God told the rich man, you have the prophets. If you don't believe them you will never believe anyone even if he rises from the grave. In addition, if you neither believe the pastors and evangelists nor the testimonies of people concerning the miraculous hand of God in their lives and many with proofs then you will never believe a mere counter reply to a subject that has been over-flogged.

A representative of God on heart.
He is called by God himself into a ministry
God himself said he confirms the words of his servant and perform the counsel of his messenger.
Calling a man of God mere mortal is blaspheming. Even an ordinary fervent Christian is not a mere mortal anymore. The only clear difference is one carries powerfeom on high while the other does not.
Don't be deceived, it is beyond ur capacity to want to call a messenger of God to order. No man can help God. Be very guided in ur statement against men of God so u can prosper.
