I mean WhatsApp banking, almost every bank in Naija get WhatsApp banking platform na.

Anyway, how do I transfer money to a trader that's using Kuda, I've checked up to 3 traders and they're all using Kuda. Is it compulsory to use Kuda as a means of payment on binance?

I wanted to buy USDT, I went straight to p2p trade and I clicked on an ad that's in accordance to my budget, I typed in the price and clicked on 'make payment' the next thing I saw was "Opara Neptune...00045678...Kuda bank" I thought it was a mistake and cancelled the trade and checked another ad, I still arrived at the same junction. Kuda is not a bank, it's an app. Maybe it's because I'm a still a novice hence the reason for the confusion. I don't use Kuda because I don't like the app.
Only through bank app can you access banks like Kuda and co.

One is rich while the other is wealthy.

If his savings can cater for his expenses for eternity, you are wealthy. If your savings is equivalent to 25 times of your active income you are good to go. At least interest on the savings will be more than his salary.

Wealth will provide for you for eternity, a rich man will continue to work or hustle to pay his bills.

You have agreed with me that we can't be wealthy without savings and Investments, these are what give passive income
This, I 100% subscribe to without an iota of disagreement. Just the flaw in the comparison of figures, I was tryna point out.

I'm a sucker for passive income also of course, "Richest man in Babylon" made it so with so much emphasis cheesy. Despite being a lil fortunate with fair monthly income, I still feed very casual, no thanks to "a certain % of my monthly income must be invested".

So, investment is key sure to passive incomes. But how much you have to invest to achieve financial freedom is another interesting side of it all. cheesy

Not a matter of preference just that one is rich and the other is wealthy.

The CEO is rich and the Investor is wealthy.

The wealthy one can easily absorb any shock, emergency, accident or health issues compared to the rich CEO
Exactly what I disagree with, sir. As long as the rich CEO saves, he still would be richer than the investor at the point of calamity. The only question would be for how long since the investor most likely would still be getting his dividends while the rich CEO has only his savings to manage.

Despite the above, if he got guided right or he chose right to the path of investment/business at that point, he still would get fatter dividend/profits than the older investor, former 100k earner.

A lower figure can still be used to understand my perspective. A 500k monthly earner with 250k monthly savings and 100k earner with 50k monthly investment amounting 70k dividend. The 500k earner would still always be ahead of the 100k guy so long he stayed disciplined to his saving habit.

Salaries are per annum and not monthly.

No CEO in corporate Nigeria earns N300 million per month or N3.6 billion per annum.

The highest should be about N1 billion per annum
Yea, that was some wild assumption. But I feel you got my drift cheesy
InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Macktaob(m): 2:04pm On Apr 21, 2021
emmanuelewumi:
Savings earn interests, which is a form of passive income At 5% N3.6 billion will give an interest of N180 million per annum
Yea right. But he never invested, just dumped his cash for safekeeping. That's just my point

All these una 400million per month wen una de call, which people when de work de receive am for Nigeria. Secondly, which kind of workers also de receive am for US?
That was just to understand him better with his comment on preferring a 100m earner with passive income over your 300m CEO monthly salary.

emmanuelewumi:
N3.6 billion will earn how much in interest in a year?

When he stops working how long can he survive on the N3.6 billion, if he can survive on it till eternity he has done well for himself.

It has to do with how much you make in your sleep ie without lifting a finger and what percentage of it you spend.

And can this cash flow sustain you forever, if you can't work again due to age or ill health. Can this passive income continue to flow even when we are dead
That 3.6b is just a year savings. 15 years at a stretch should be 54b if my calculation is right. That's more than enough for him and his at least one generation to live on considering they also would grow to start working for themselves.
InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Macktaob(m): 1:21pm On Apr 21, 2021
emmanuelewumi:
N300 million from salary does not make you a wealthy person, you are only rich unless you are using it create passive income.

If you are not making money while sleeping you are not wealthy, you are only financially okay or rich.

The difference between a rich man and a wealthy man, is that a rich man must continue to work or hustle to maintain his life style while a wealthy man will continue to maintain his life style even if he is not working and he also has freedom.

The children of the CEO that doesn't have passive income can't inherit the big salary of their father, while the children and grandchildren of the shareholder with a dividend income of over N100 million will continue to enjoy the investment income from their father's legacy
So, say for example: A earns 400m in a month with no passive income but saves 300m = 3.6b a year

B earns 100m a month, saves only 20m due to 50m investments gradually with passive return of 60m = 80m monthly inflow = 960m a year.

You'd still consider the passive income earner which is B in this case the wealthy?

You still feel B's kids would be more fortunate at both's death period if their demise coincides same time frame?

1. Physical wealth ( health)
2. Time wealth (freedom)
3. Social wealth (status)

Money is already a given if you have the above three. I might not be financially wealthy, but I have the top 3 that money can't buy.

I would be able to meet my needs. I might not be financially wealthy or rich but I would definitely be contented.
Nice, what floats your boat. Everyone should have this mindset though but for me, not today, tomorrow maybe. cheesy

Your choice is valid. So is mine and also everyone's choice.

What I am against is the one cap fits all ideology and also the misconception of Social wealth.

The true definition of wealth is when you achieve the 4 of them. You can start with anyone, but strive to achieve the 4 of them.
Yea but in the light of the topic, you can only choose to achieve 3.

I believe people who crave for social wealth have a type of complex. My opinion though.
You are right but in the light of the topic, financial wealth over social wealth any day.

People are clearly misconstruing Social wealth to be showing off your wealth socially.

@macktaob I can easily define social wealth as
"you reputation"

Probably if we see it in this light, we would be better informed
Okay, this works for me. Reputation is an important asset of course. But in this life of cruelty, I'm gon choose financial wealth over reputation, so long it's not that I'm gon have the opposite of reputation, I just would be me without having a tarnished image.

My dad chose reputation/pride/respect over money, he was a politician, a big one, he died a young man, 53, leaving 13 kids to sort for themselves at tender age, fight amongst themselves over naught, once love turned distrust. Never would I make his mistake but not suggesting ruining one's name over money though.

Pls, you've not defined "social wealth" as you understand it. Could you pls? I'm tryna reason your perspective.

Are you sure? Social wealth is also powerful oooo, especially in our materialistic environment where we want respect and approval from the populace
That respect and approval are only meant to compensate happiness(rub one's ego, some will term it). So, with enough money and good health, one should have enough happiness beyond his comprehension hence making social status less desirable at the expense of any of the other 3 options.
