Godd morning Bro. One quick question pls. When flashing a new custom rom through twrp is it necessary to wipe vendor. I'm asking because when I was using rn4x sometimes I do sometimes I don't but didn't seem to notice any negative effect while flashing miuipro, mui.eu,havoc,pixel experience etc.

Lol. The magic of mi mover. I had to quickly transfer my files from the rn4x to the rn7 so as to factory reset the phone and Waybill to the buyer of the rn4x.

The truth us that the big boys got better thing to attend to and as such rarely have time for some childish comparisons.

But the average boys that manages to lay hands on the average equivalents will be the one disturbing and filtering every thread with tantrums and cyber bullying as if they re using one vertu diamond plated phone.

I understand that you are a big boy but Just for clarity sake can you show us two of such comparison between the RN7 and mi9t or k20 Pro that is making you sound the way you are? On the other If you will just let this slide it will help the xiaomi family attend to more pressing issues. Calm down bro. We are all here to catch fun, solve a problem or two or just feel happy and while away time, don't take this too serious.

How i wish you know my brother like I do. We look out for each other. On this aspect he is happy I made the choice for him cos I no that he will never I mean never in this life time and the next bring out 40k to change a phone screen no matter how much he has. It was even a surprise that he decided to get a phone this expensive.

I know but I know my elder brother very well he's very careless with phones. Can you imagine I went to his office this morning to help him set up and update his phone, only to see his colleagues throwing the phone on the ground cos he told them that it has gorilla 5 glass (I made the mistake of showing him the drop test video of RN7).
I remember making this comment.
Abeg who get note 7 screen my brother has finally succeeded in breaking the screen of his less than two weeks old phone. I did not bother to ask him how it happened. I'm just wondering if it was the mi a3 he had earlier bought.

I said RN7 4/128 for 76k they wouldn't refund the extra 2k which we used to get two tempered glass. They deliberately or mistakenly gave him the 4/64 varient of mi a3 against the 4/128 that he paid for. He didn't even know! I was the one that discovered it because truth be told, whenever I handle a phone the first thing I do is to head to the about phone section.

My elder brother has never been a phone person, he always felt that buying an expensive phone does not make sense (after all you go still make an receive calls on any phone) but after seeing and handling my RN7. Without telling me we went and bought the mi a3 4/128 for about 78k. He visited me and was showing off the on-screen fingerprint scanner, I just cut his excitement short by showing him the price of the screen on aliexpress (42-47k). Knowing that he doesn't like using his phone with a case and having broken and changed the screen of the last 4 phones he had used he became disturbed luckily for us he was given the 4/64 varient of mi a3 which we took advantage of cos they would not have considered changing it, Since they didn't have the 4/128 varient of mi a3. I advised him to go for the RN7 4/128. Help me Welcome the 3rd member of my family to the xiaomi family.

For newer devices the wait is at least a week and you'll definitely lose your data unlike older devices up to the Redmi 5 plus where the wait is just 3 days and data is kept intact.

Download and install telegram if you don't have it. Search for rn4x Miui 10 port, join the channel and you will see a host of roms to choose from. Check and download the latest Miui.eu10 version 9.8.29 for oreo or pie.

I don't have an idea but this is the 3rd time I'm using the same mi account to unlock the bootloader of my phone. Rn2 and rn4x I was given 72hrs before i unlocked. I'm a bit surprised I got 168hrs on the RN7.

It is very normal, considering several factors.

Pls I just tried to unlock bootloader and was given 168hrs waiting time, while I was at it I was warned that I might loose data but still went ahead cos I know that it won't unlock with the first attempt. unlocking bootloader on RN7 actually makes one loose data? Pardon my curiosity cos I tried it on rn2 and rn4x but didn't loose any data.
