RN7P is more powerful especially because of the GPU, while the A50 should be better in terms of efficiency. A gamer should pick the RN7P, while someone interested in all round performance should probably pick the A50. The camera on the RN7P should do better than A50, but then software optimization is really important and could make a difference. Mind you, A50 uses a wide angle sensor, an extra one for ultrawide angle, then the depth sensor and they all have smaller apertures compared to the RN7P with only one secondary depth sensing camera.

In terms of screen, no need for comparison, A50 tops easily. In terms of power, the results should be similar although the CPU on A50 tend to be slightly more power efficient. Software optimization will play a big role here.

My opinion. I'll still pick the A50 over RN7P. Amoled is sweet.

PS: RN7P = Redmi Note 7 Pro. A50 = Samsung A50

In as much we love xiaomi, I wouldn't want us doing the blind arguments, techno and other minions do when they are bested. We are talking of samsung here, world largest producer of smart phones..

Review is just an insight, doesn't translate to real life usage. If that's the case, I'll never use RN7 after Jerryrig destroyed it in his review.

From the specs of the Samsung A50, I won't be surprised if it beats RN7. The processor is faster and also has a much smaller manufacturing process and the battery is also 4000MAh. I don't know much about the One UI, but that may be where the difference lies.

The camera setup on the A50 might also be better than that on RN7, Gcam asides.

Decided to go through Mi safety information today and came across this. Pretty sure most us have been defaulting that instruction... Those over-the-night charging...Could be why your battery's performance is on a steady decline.

It's the full ROM. That's about the same size as mine that i just flashed (617mb).

That right there is Android 9.0 Pie.

Tick ARM6 in the first spot, tick the Android version of the ROM you're about to flash (8.1 or 9.0) and tick Pico. Now hit download and you've got your gapps. Other Google apps will have to be downloaded by you when you flash the ROM.

As for the titatium backup, i also use the free version and it works. You probably don't back up your apps with data or don't have root access. Walk me through the process you take when you use titatium backup.

Suffice to mention that on more that two occasions you delayed payment (after we completed the work, cos he initially paid part payment & money to send it back was also delayed)...

Don't know if it has advanced wipe.

Use titatium back to back up your apps to your internal storage or SD card.

Boot into recovery, wipe system and cache (don't wipe Internal storage or SD card oo)

Flash th AEX rom you downloaded, Flash gapps, flash magisk. Wipe cache then reboot.

Use titatium backup to restore your apps.

Make sure you have the right ROM and gapps for your device and operating system version respectively.
