@OP u need to tinker with the source code to achieve this. btw 64 bit systems are backward compatible with 32bit programs so u don't have to convert your 32bit program, better still look for the 64bit version of the program. cheers!!

Nanai's post gave me the idea of using this thread as a support group so I think I will start posting a verse (arabic text, translation and transliteration)a day together with the its tafsir (Ibn Kathir's abridged in english) and possibly some audio.
We should please for the sake of Allah recognise ourselves as muslims first and not as tijanniyah, izala etc and you are free to upload a different recitation and/or other supporting files (tafsir from other renowned scholars, etc).

Also, I think we should start from bottom to top (Nas to Baqara) so that we cover those ayahs we already know and become more comfortable.

I know that we may at one point or the other fall behind due to illness or other reasons so by no means should you feel left behind.

The important thing is for one to have a sincere intention to complete this task seeking His pleasure alone.

I hope the moderators stay vigilant in monitoring posts to check mistakes and mischief.

I have realised that we spend most of our time on things that will only benefit us in this world but become lethargic when it comes to seeking the pleasure of Allah (swt).

In view of this, I decided to start this Qur'an memorization thread so that insha Allah we will all reap the benefits of knowing the Qur'an by learning it the way the sahaba did, so i am proposing that we memorize A VERSE A DAY, learn the verse's tafsir AND APPLY ITS' TEACHINGS before moving on to the next verse.

I am uploading a software: Juz30 form imaanstar.com software that will help us do it, it is easy to use and once you get comfortable with it you can start memorizing the Qur'an.

Remember to do it seeking the pleasure of Allah only as He will reward you for it even if you don't live to complete this noble mission.

if this happens after turning on the machine, i guess you dont have an operating system so get an os (contact a techie to install it if you cannot), remember that this is purely a software issue so don't fall for anyone telling you that you need to change something on your machine. Cheers.

my candid advice is that you ditch your current machine and get a more powerful one (about 90k should do the trick). Cheers.

you described a hardware problem which has nothing to do with RAM. Take the machine to an expert tech who will properly diagnose the problem and hopefully solve it. Cheers.

Assalamu alaikum. I stumbled upon this thread yesterday and decided to read all ten pages of it before posting.
Alhamdulillah Ify (and other seekers of truth and light) conducted themselves in a manner that reminds me of early muslims. Ify, maybe you should find time to attend Islamic study circles (depending on where you live) in addition to this thread.
For all those who disrespect others and/or other religions, i say we all stop as i think no religion condones such (if you are an atheist, polytheist, agnostic or whatever your beliefs and values are, please common sense and civility should guide our conduct).
Finally, i want to commend all muslims here who are explaining Islam to others, may Allah (swt) reward you abundantly an keep your intentions sincere but we are forgetting to add phrases like '', Allah knows best'', at the end of our posts.
