There is an opening for Assets Manager in Africa’s premier Aircraft Leasing Company and MRO.

The successful candidate will be a team player willing to work with a disciplined approach to tight deadlines. The individual must display an aptitude for numerical analysis, must demonstrate a systematic approach to the interpretation of legal documents and must have particular attention to detail.

The Financial Asset Administration department implement Company policy with regard to the management of a portfolio of approximately 80 aircraft and engines. The successful candidate will assist the Head of Financial Asset Management in the day-to-day management of a large number of aircraft lease contracts.
Base salary NGN 14.5m – 12.5m there will be an opportunity to earn significant additional bonuses based on performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Preparation of quarterly cash flow reports for Joint Venture Entities
• Build, organise and manage a strong and dispersed team to manage all aspects of our interaction with Lessees whilst the aircraft are on Lease
• Provide a high quality service to other departments internally to support our data management in relation to aircraft assets
• Put in place processes and resources to provide the analysis necessary to support our maintenance accounting obligations to the Finance department
• Put in place processes and procedures that will ensure a high level of accuracy, consistency in approach and responsiveness in the management of MR claims and other requests from Lessees
• Provision of robust MR data to allow the setting of standard rates to support negotiation of Loi’s and Leases
• Proactively inform and influence the business for remarketing of used aircraft
• Active Technical involvement with the Finance & Accounting departments
• Management, reporting and assessment of the aircraft survey program
• Management of all Engine shop visit oversight activities
• Contracting and management of 3rd party engine and airframe service suppliers
• Provision of accurate and accessible aircraft asset data to the business
• Preparation of monthly financial reports to external lenders
• Assisting in preparation and/or review of various aircraft related calculations for use by various departments
• Assisting in the review of transaction budgets
• Preparation of aircraft maintenance projections for commercial team
• Assisting in the due diligence process of aircraft acquisitions from an Asset Management perspective
• Assisting in lease reviews and contract set up on the contract management system
• Developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures
• Support key internal departments including Legal, Marketing, Accounting and Technical on a daily basis by providing information and assisting in solving problems
• Providing support to deal team during aircraft transactions
• Assisting in the implementation of Lease Point (a new contract management system)
• Perform any other duties the Company may assign to you from time to time
• Provide senior management with meaningful information/reports as requested

Requirements:

• Engineering Degree or an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence
• Strong aircraft leasing experience, ideally from both the Lessee and Lessor perspectives, combined with experience of working within an Airline or MRO engineering environment
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop individuals with limited experience but high potential
• OEM and/or MRO experience, in a senior supervisory or management role
• Experience of working across a wide variety of cultures
• Experience in engine off-wing repair/overhaul management
• MRO agreement negotiations, engines and airframes
• Good knowledge of Airworthiness requirements across multiple jurisdictions

The role will include new business development as well as account management and international travel will be required on occasion for relationship building and business development opportunities.

The aerospace account manager will be dealing mainly with airlines and the aviation market, sitting within the MRO components team, you will be responding to client requests, developing relationships, attending trade shows and other aerospace and engineering events.

Previous aviation, aerospace or engineering market exposure or knowledge would give candidates an advantage but candidates with more than three years sales, business development or account management experience are very welcome to apply.

• Excellent current airline contacts in EMEA.
• Educated to Degree/Post Graduate or similar level.
• An ability and reputation for closing large value transactions.
• Proven track record of successful placement and remarketing of aircraft in EMEA.
• A large network of recent contacts in EMEA.
• Commercial acumen and substantial exposure and experience in aviation leasing and financing.
• Strong knowledge of operating lease terms, asset security issues, delivery and return conditions and aviation insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Negotiating complex cross-border transactions and agreements
• Initiating, developing, negotiating and closing transactions
• Developing and implementing marketing programmes and strategies
• Maintaining and sharing a thorough understanding of current and future market trends

You still ave to cancel the TRV. Because for visiting, you are to prove beyond reasonable doubt that you don't have intention to stay back, that you are retuning to your country after the visit. Now that u have an ITA, that clearly negates ur intent because it means you have plans to permanently live in Canada. Based on ur dual (contradicting) intentions, ur TRV is likely to be rejected. So it's best you cancel it yourself. Hope I'm clear enough.

He meant if the TRV is for study permit, cancel the TRV application and call your school to defer your admission. DO NOT DEFER ITA o....

Please can you explain what you mean exactly by this? If one can fill a complaint form and get to redo the listening section, why haven't many taken advantage of that? Don't forget that a lot of people will know if their performance in the listening was good for them or hopeless immediately after the test... And a lot of sound check is conducted before the actual audio is played, so what challenge exactly will the person claim? Shed more light on this, mbok.

If you had challenges during the listening or you are not confident, complete a complaint form immediately after the test... check the results on Friday morning... if you aren't happy, you can play your complaint as a joker... redo just the listening in 7 days...

Writing- complete both sheets of paper for both questions, watch your spelling and punctuation marks.

Speaking- you could look up videos on youtube. The secret is to keep talking until you are stopped.

Add the God factor... prayers and you are good to go

Please i would like to know it is okay to dive into the pool considering my trv application is still pending?

I got my ITA today... Please advice on whether or not to cancel the TRV

I applied for TRV (online) at the end of June and I am yet to receive feedback. During the process, i found out about the Express Entry... So i took the ielts exam, got my ECA and created an EE profile (CRS - 467) in the beginning of October. Today i received my invitation to apply ITA for Permanent Residence. Please advice on whether or not to cancel the TRV application.

Yes. All things being equal, you stand a better chance of getting PR than TRV as you don't need to prove that you plan to return to Nigeria.
Ensure that you meet the requirements and can provide documents to prove this before proceeding.
Also ensure that whatever supporting info and documentation you plan to submit will not conflict with what you've already provided in your trv application.

Maybe you should count 7 weeks from the day you did biometrics which is 13th July. I submitted on 7th Aug and did biometrics same day. I was called on 29th Sept
