Do you think we jointly help the guy again on the treatment ,he seems not to be OK yet.

What do you think? He eventually acknowledged my fund to him.
How do you know he isn't okay? Do you know him personally? One must be sure. He asked for a certain amount, I gave him more. They are so many people in need these trying times, online and offline. One must maximise one's giving. Thanks.

Thanks for being good. It can never be in vain. I attended to him yesterday. let's hope he judiciously use our assistance well. Though in another thread. He got the alert but not yet acknowledged.

I was debited.

I suggest you should keep your business to yourself.

Since you are NOT moving in, they do not need to know. and whenever you visit the place, just tell them you were checking for someone.

You have a loving and concerned family BUT it may shock you to know that those who reprimanded you are also keeping things from you.

Families often always OVERRATE or UNDERRATE success.

You know how long it took you to heal, so kindly maintain your peace.

by the way... CONGRATS on your new acquisition.

Thank you. Thanks for understanding.

Nope! I don't ask them about updates in their lives. in fact, I am one of the last to know about their plans etc. There is no competition, at least not from me. Everyone enjoys their money as they like. I don't just want to relive the experience of 3 years ago. Once bitten twice shy .. theirs is not even the issue. it's my mum finding out that I'm worried about.
Family / Should I Tell My Mum About My New House? by made2fit(f): 12:49pm On Mar 09, 2020
3 years ago, my husband and I bought a landed property, built and moved into our our home. All through the 9 months it took for us to buy and build, we kept the information to ourselves. We didn't inform our family. When it was time for us to move into the house, which was 60% completed then, I told my siblings about it. Their response and reactions were shocking. Instead of congratulating me, they reprimanded me that I was keeping secrets from them. Their grouse was that I didn't tell them I bought a land, didn't take them through the process of building, didn't even drop a hint in our Whatsapp group. They were acidic and bitter.

True, I was expecting a mild reprimand concerning why they were kept in the dark; but I was really unprepared for the backlash that was unleashed. On my own money! I was deeply hurt and I cried. My husband had to comfort me. Mind you, my siblings are all doing well. If they really wanted they can as well sacrifice and build their own homes. Anyway, we moved in. No one talked about it again. Everyone ignored me and my new house. It took a whole year before one of them came to visit. Another sister of mine, didn't even bother for a longer time, even though she visits the area around every now and then to see her in-law.

All that is behind us as time as healed all their "hurts". Everyone visits and everything is fine . Now, I bought another property. Only this time it is close to around my mum's vicinity. This property was a very good deal, couldn't ignore, and I intend to use it for commercial purpose. I intend to be as discreet as possible. But my fear is that if my mum find out from outsiders, or artisans, , she'll be deeply hurt. If I tell her, she"ll want me/ pressurize me to tell my siblings, which I do not want. I don't want anyone to kill my joy, as I'm unsure of their reactions. How do I go about this?

NB; I'm second of six siblings. I have not always been rich. In fact, I was the poorest. God opened the way for us about 6years ago.

Education / Re: I Want To Transfer My Kids To Public School. Is It Advisable? by made2fit(f): 5:08pm On Aug 08, 2019
Focusmind, changing your kids school from their posh school to a public one is too much of a contrast and would affect them psychologically. Integrating them into the environment should be a gradual process.

Instead, find a regular school that is less sophisticated, with minimal amenities, normal good schools without an AC bus services and the likes. They will meet kids like them from good and decent homes, relate easier with them, and won't be drastically affected psychologically.

I read on one of your post that you want to travel to Europe by road. Why? because of this cheap thing? A girl whom you've known for just 2 years? What about family and friends you've known for longer. even all your life? My advice for you is to surround yourself with friends and family who love you. Work hard, not just to avenge her, but for your own personal goal and joy. Aren't you glad that you were only with her for 2 years. What will you say about married men who go through several years of hell with their wife and eventually divorce?

So my dear, you are stronger than you think. Forget this girl. You can! You will still enjoy a beautiful relationship and marriage with a woman who loves and cherishes you someday. Be strong!

Desire so much? very funny. Do you know this is the second time I'm being offered this position. I was able to wriggle through the last time. but this time, everyone expects me to take it. I'm thinking of a strong reason for decline. After all, no body knows what's going on in my heart. It's a personal Walk.
Religion / Should A Non-tither Take Up Leadership Position In A Tithe Paying Church? by made2fit(f): 4:59am On Jan 16, 2018
About 5 years ago, I stopped Paying tithes. I stumbled upon an article, searched the scriptures and discovered the truth about tithing. Not wanting to stir up controversy, I kept this to myself and continued in my service to God. Nevertheless, I became a committed giver, giving to church projects, programs, welfare and the needy as the need arises.

Now, last Sunday, I was given a preordination form for deaconship in my church. On this form are a couple of questions on tithes and tithing. Answering positive to these questions will make me a liar. After all, I don't tithe. But no one knows this since I'm a committed member and giver. Also, if I am ordained as a deaconess, there will be instances where I would have to promote tithes and offerings. Doing this would make me a hypocrite since I don't tithe or believe in it.

One part of me is telling me to think up a very good excuse to give the pastorate, simply forgo it and continue leading my quiet Christian life. Another part is considering it as an opportunity to serve God, take up spiritual responsibilities, build more confidence, and build a ministry. After all, God is the ultimate Judge of the heart of man.

Believers in the house, what do you think?

Modify: pls. let not turn this to another tithe thread. There are numerous discussions on tithe. It is exhausting! tithe this, tithe that, is tithing the gateway to heaven! Every man should do what he believes in. God knows who alone is his. I just need a little counsel to make a decision, that all. Thanks.

There you have it. The screenshots. Made2fit do you see that?

Next time, please do make research before commenting.
Kazrem:

It is pitiful that you didn't seek information before you spewed what is not. I will be cool tempered with you. For your information, people don't make bestseller for life. Not even a week. If you make it more than 24 hours, you are lucky. Bestseller on Amazon is rated and ranked after every one hour. Take that information to your diary. I didn't only make bestseller but also was #1 at a time. Now to show you I made the Bestseller list, I have added a screenshot of it to it. Not only that, I will also share the complimentary I got on the said that.

You have only made my visibility note real. Thank you for making fruitless effort in bringing down a name withholds by The Almighty.
It's good that you have posted a screenshot so everyone can see clearly that your book did not become a bestseller. The screenshot clearly shows the Amazon bestseller rank as FREE IN KINDLE STORE. (the portion circled in red).

This only means one thing, you did a free book promotion, people downloaded for free (no kobo was paid to you) and the other screenshot showed the book under top 100 free in the category.

It"s either you genuinely don't know how amazon operates or someone lied to you.
I am not trying to put you down but I just don't like people presenting false information to deceive others.
That book has not sold 1 copy or even gotten 1 page read as of this morning so IT IS NOT A BESTSELLER. Bestseller rank is only given to books that sell for money and there will be an orange band beneath the book with bestseller clearly written and it will have a PAID Amazon Bestseller Rank.

Again, you can be a bestseller for months not just a few hours. I have been publishing on amazon since 2013 and have almost 100 books. A good number of them have attained bestseller status from time to time and some for several months.

Having properly informed you, I wish you good luck in your future endeavors.

“The level of your talent isn’t nearly as important as the intensity of your passion.” – Keith Harrell

I woke up in the early hours of the morning two Thursdays ago to a piece of news that not only gladdened my heart till this moment but also made me proud of myself. What was the good news?

If this article inspires you to take action, it had achieved its purpose, for it is not meant to pitch a sale but to give hope to those in despair and a reason to believe to the hopeless.

I woke on that particular Thursday to the glittering news that my first and recently published book, Write To Stardom (How To Write Irresistible Articles That Keep Readers Glued To You From A-Z), made the Bestseller list on Amazon in 2 days after publishing it. Yes! It ranked #3 in Education and Reference section and #10 in Writing Skills section. It, in a matter of hours later, topped Education and Reference section (#1) and rose to #7 in Writing Skills section. It was super amazing and I was super fantastic.

If there was one act that I could attribute this incredible feat to, it would be passion – the obsession to learn, the love to teach and strong desire to write. I do not think I am a talented speaker but I am cocksure that I am passionate about teaching via speaking.

I am not certain I am blessed with choosing words at the right situation but I am sure I am passionate about learning. If you doubt me, tell me you want to teach me a skill or a how to.

I am not sure I have more than the average skill of a writer but so much love putting down my thoughts that has ultimately improved my writing skills and has projected me as a “talented” writer before my audience.

Passion has got me what talent couldn’t.

“The level of your talent isn’t nearly as important as the intensity of your passion.” – Keith Harrell

I did say a long time ago, April precisely, that if there was one thing I would love to do all my life, it was to read, teach and write.

To you who have an enviable talent and had discovered it, this message is for you.

To you who think he does not have a talent or has not yet discovered it, this message is equally for you.

The message is simple but subtle. Here is the message: Talent is good, passion is better. A talent that is coupled with passion is best. Talent would take you far but passion would take you farther. When and where talent fails you, passion can make you. Love what you do and do what you love. Attach purpose – real life purpose – and mission to what you do and every day get beaten for not reaching the mission yet. Many are people who are not born with natural talent but are doing pretty well in their chosen field with a strong determination, daily learning and practice. And many are people who are born with unrefined but bountiful natural talent but amounted to nothing as a result not learning and practicing. More than talent, passion is what you need.

“Success comes to those who dedicate everything to their passion in life. To be successful, it is also very important to be humble and never let fame or money travel to your head.” – A.R Rahman

Family / Re: I Was Wrong, But Did It Warrant A Season Of Verbal Abuse? by made2fit(f): 10:38am On Jan 30, 2015
dein77:
Good morning, my good people. It's a privilege to be both alive and well...
This writ isn't about bashing the women folks. We can't really do much without their company, advice and support. It's about addressing an issue isolated with ONE woman.

It's not even about giving my wife a bad name. She's being a huge path on my life. It's about a matter i consider very touchy to me.

Thank God it's a faceless forum, hence we can bring up some deeply private issues so others can advise, rebuke where necessary, correct and exhort us.

The world pays more attention to physical abuse because it's consequences and scars are physical and tangible. But i believe verbal abuse is even more traumatic than physical abuse. The impacts of its are unseen, hardy known to outsiders, and yet even more destabilising and frustrating. It's scars lie beneath sur face.

Verbal abuse also posts a significant threat to the overall wellbeing of a home. I hate being it's recipient. Maybe that's why I don't dole it to anyone, especially my wife.

Couples of course do disagree once in a while in every healthy marriage. And it doesn't need to degenerate to name calling or direct abuses. No human is perfect. I can't claim I'm the perfect husband. I may sometimes be a bit too touchy when words are hauled at me. I hate being bullied. Tonight was one occasion too many.

I had gone for a church programme late last year. And the pastor asked us to write on a paper the names of all our loved ones so he could prayed against DEATH on their behalf. I wrote the names that flooded my mind that moment. We didn't have much time shaaa. This list is still in my Bible as I type.

My wife saw the list as she was studying my Bible. She observed, even to my surprise, that some other names came before hers. Some relatives of our both families came before hers on the list. I was even ashamed myself. I explained the situation and apologised immediately that it shouldn't be taken too seriously. She furiously closed the Bible and the torrents of abuses commenced. I know most women to be very detailed, observant and detailed. I'm still surprised that such a matter could create some tension in the home. I'm still struggling to continue my RCCG fast today. This ought not so to be.
No poster, u are not wrong. Ideally, there should be people in our lives that we are most concerned about in certain areas. For instance if I were to be in ur shoes, I will consider a frail aunt, a sickly relative, my aged parents etc before I even think about my hubby. Same thing for if I were to pray for financial breakthrough for loved ones, I will first consider that my uncle who has been struggling all his life etc before hubby. Your wife is jst being petty and immature. Ask God to give her wisdom. "A wise woman builds her home but a foolish one destroys it with her own hands"

His sermons are becoming more and more secular. Last year alone, he spent more than half of the year on a 'series spree': making of money, benefits of sowing, money management, sowing into your destiny, how to sow and reap etc. He has started dis year again with first fruits etc. I feel sorry for the congregation cos they are not growing. I make up for these by listening to sound and balanced messages from other servants of God and studying on my own. In short, I'm leaving. I don't care anymore.

My pastor is guilty again as usual. Pls. I need to leave my church. It is imperative that I do. I cringe inwardly most times when he preaches. I can no longer bear the gross distortion of scriptures for personal benefit. But what should I say, what will be my reason? I'm a commited worker, everyone will start to visit and ask questions. I don't want to lie. What do u think I should say? How do I leave quietly, with family and all? I don't even have another church. I'm just tired of all these manipulations.

Business / Re: How Do Companies That Develop Internet Browsers Make Money?(mozilla, Opera, Etc) by made2fit(f): 1:29pm On Nov 09, 2014
JonBee1:

Almost the entirety of Mozilla’s income arrives in the form of royalties from the Firefox search box, and the lion’s share of those royalties are paid by the default search engine: Google.

While it’s true that Mozilla strongly relies on Google’s royalties, don’t forget that Google is completely reliant on search traffic: 97% of it is derived from advertising. In other words, Google’s status as the default search engine for the majority of 450 million Firefox users directly translates into millions — and possibly billions — of dollars of revenue. It’s the same story with Opera, which regularly holds an auction for its default search engine: search traffic is worth big bucks.
This helps, thanks.
