It's like you didn't understand your pastor's message. Righteousness is a gift ( Romans 5: 17) given to ALL born again Christians. It means you are in right standing with since God is now your father. It has nothing to do with walking out your salvation (phillipians 2: 12) in order not to miss heaven.

I'll attempt to answer your questions. Before Judas betrayed Jesus, he was already a thief. He was sinning wilfully and enjoying it. All through Jesus teachings, he sat there, heard him and was unmoved. He had a responsibility to resist and repent, but his conscious was dead.
The bible says when sin has conceived, it bringeth forth death. Judas was responsible for his own actions.

Joagbaje: It depends . The fake money thing is wrong. Except you're paying it back to whoever gave you. But other issues . Are relative . It depends . Some people demand Money for their service . Even though the money may be illegal it's a matter of faith and choice . It requires wisdom.
For example a police man accuse you falsely and demand . Money, but you're in a hurry for a service ,function or a programme that is of urgency. Wisdom demands you settle him and go. But you can still fight for your right ,you will win eventually except that . You would have missed your appointment. So it depends on the situation. And individual faith. Jesus paid illegal money .

Babe, I feel u. Can't tell you how many times I've had my fingers burnt trying to pull up a shrunken thread. And again, stove parts need replacement every now and then. Takes money, time, energy and fine fingernails thank God I'm now liberated.

To be sincere,in my private moments, I've often questioned the benefits of tithing- I do my part why dosen't God do his? the devourer devors cos I've experienced several job losses through no fault of mine, still waiting for the overwheming blessings from the windows of heaven etc etc. Afterwards, because I don't want to seem ungrateful to God for his goodness and mercies, I shrug it off and move on. So you can imagine reading all these scriptures and learning new things on tithing previously unknown before. I say a big weight has been taken off me.
While I've not completely stopped tithing,I'm still studying on my own and intend to drop it like a red hot chilli pepper the moment I'm 100 percent convinced. The moment I can explain myself explicitly to anyone that seeks clarification about this. Thanks.

Don't just pray to God to help you, pray against the devil's hindrances using scriptures to back up your right. Bible has identified Satan as the thief who comes tp steal, kill and destroy. After you have done this, meditate on Gods promises so that you will have faith to receive. Then thank God continously knowing that all things will work together for your good. It is well!

He that is without sin should cast the first stone. The best he could have done was suspend them after the wedding for some weeks even that can be considered extreme in some quarters. @ OP, sorry about the whole thing. Thank God for his faithfulness, he stood by you through it all. Find another church to attend on Sundays but limit your involvement so that you won't be hurt again.

Well, I don't know about Christ Embassy but my sister married Last year in another popular penticostal church and she paid N10,000 for according to her, generator, certificate and contingencies. I wasn't pleased because the Bride and Groom were both long standing members who were conducting the wedding by faith. Seeing that they were not that bouyant, the church was placing more financial burden on them instead of helping out.IMO

It is because pastor get caught up 'ministering' to the congregation that they forget their home front. For instance, they forget to pray for their kids but only pray with them during devotions. Meanwhile, they will pray for others. Some of them don't even play with their children and these children will silently rebel. They are unfriendly to them and don't correct them in love but they are all smiles on the pulpit. Unlike the Father of faith, Abraham whom God commended for teaching his kids in the way of the Lord.

Why give yourselves to temptations. How can two pple in love live together without being tempted to touch, are they brother and sister?

This section to me is Ok.It all depends on how you use it. I'm mindful of the threads I open and read. I usually ignore aethiest threads or any threads that belittle Jesus etc. Even if I open one and I see where the discussion is heading to. I simply close it and move over to the next. There are other posts. Some are edifying and some are revealing. For instance, I followed the e-grace convention to the end. And I was blessed. The section is not bad at all.

Choosing a life partner for marriage is not as complicated as some people make it seem. The main characters to watch for are love and compatibility.
Use wisdom, be observant, pray and make your choice, believing God for the best.

That is what I'm saying. Why are u bothered about your dream? In the past, do your dreams come to pass? If not ignore it. Dreams could be misleading and besides they can come from any source- you, God and devil. God will not give you a dream that cause chaos and confusion to u. Pray and cancel the dream and go ahead in life with a clear mind.

I'd ask u this question: how have you been praying for other issues of your life? Isn't it suprising that when it comes to the issue of marriage, we want God to speak to us via new channels?
Op, u can't desperately rush God to give you an answer. You have to use the same prayer and communication channels that has helped you resolve other issues of your life.
One last word, peace is a sign. When u have peace u'll know that's a go-ahead signal. It is well!
