Romance › Thoughts For Kids @ The Orphanage? by MadeINchenzen2(op): 10:15am On Mar 18, 2022*. Modified: 10:55am On Mar 18, 2022 |
This is me thinking out loud...
With a world with about 7.9 billon humans dwelling as inhabitants of earth, with over half of that population surviving in abject penury and starvation with endless sufferings. 153 million of that population are orphans, with 17.5 million of that figure in Nigeria — yet the population keeps rising...
If every couple (fertile or not) were to adopt at least one child from the orphanage to add to a family plan, it would do so much good to the world and humanity, as well as help curb the menace that might bedevil a world thats saturated with kids growing without parental care or adequate welfare as most kids with parents may enjoy.
In a normal world, people can choose to start a family through adoption even though they are fertile enough to procreate.
But we all may have chosen the conventional life cycles that involves starting families and raising kids we birthed through our loins with our DNA's replicated in their bloodstream, anything different is of no value or importance to us.
Some couples may have their family plan as thus;
4 kids (one adopted)
3 kids (one adopted)
2 kids (one adopted)
1 child (adopted)
My point is that couples should take a chance with that option and help humanity (especially couples that has the resource to do so)

I really wanna dive into serious interracial relationships, preferably I will fancy Bosnian women... but will take an African woman besides Nigeria.
Why? I want kids with mixed race, half Nigerian, half another country. Not pure Nigerian breeds.
Which country has the best women, both morally and physically and culturally? |

Philistine: Change the fortunes of your region first before thinking of changing Nigeria. My brother... Take a hike into the east of the Naija and have fun... feed your eyes and give me feedback... from their beautiful ladies to the clean scenic sublime scenery coupled with monumental edifice and very rich culture and delicious meals... my brother, Nigeria will be in abject darkness without the igbos. Despite the marginalisation, the igbos provide practically everything for themselves without hoping on the government, yet they can rub shoulders financially even with the likes of Dangote who gets massive support from the government. Igbo amaka my brother |

They haven't been opportuned yet as president, but they still make things happen. Respect igbos... forget sentiments... China ties with Nigeria is very strong too because of the igbos. |
Agriculture › Re: How My Pregnant Goat Surprised Me(pictures) by MadeINchenzen2: 6:47pm On Mar 12, 2022 |
Abujaexpress: I was really baffled by what my heavily pregnant goat did yesterday.
Actually, we have been keeping the goat and she put to bed early last year, a he goat or kid which has grown since them. We use to keep and confine both of them indoors untill the goat and it's kid started showing the crave to step out and hustle to feed and play/mingle with thier likes. We started letting them out in the morning and by evening time, both will come back home and even if they meet the gate locked, they will be using thier limbs and heads to scratch on the gate as notice to us, until the gate is opened for them.
But gradually, they will go out and not come back home, untill after maybe several days, before you will see them. From days of remaining outside, it turned to weeks, while we were always keeping close watch on their whereabouts. Infact, the day I went out searching for them, immediately the she goat sighted me, she ran to me and followed me home while the kid later came back home to join the mother.
What actually shocked me yesterday was that, for over three weeks, the goats have been away from the house, but surprisingly on Wednesday morning, the pregnant goat came home, this time around in the morning, scratching her head and limbs seriously for the gate to be opened for her. Since it is unusual seeing the goat in the morning and because we were going out for work, my wife wanted to send it back to the fields, but the goat refused to go, instead it entered the compound.
We left for work and coming back home in the evening, lo and behold, the goat had given birth to two bouncing kids, hale and healthy. This really baffled me that a goat could know that she was in labour and she had the sense to come back to the house to give birth!!!
Honestly, when I got home, I have to clap for the goat. She gave me reasons to believe that goats, if properly cared for and tendered, can really act reasonably like human.
N.B. I will upload the picture of the goat and the kids later, when I get back home. ...and I have been convinced beyond every reasonable doubt that this goat is smarter than some Nairalanders |

Favfables1: First off... Not every 18year old is a "jambite"... Go to universities and see the ages of the people in school... Those 18year olds you're calling jambites are in year 1, 2 and 3, a few of them are even in 4th year in school...
Secondly... An 18year old is an adult... So if an adult feels she can handle a relationship with a 30year old man, that's her business... You can't come here and decide what two consenting adults can/cannot do .... So chill...

All you're doing is age-shaming men who are certain years older than women. That itself is against civility and our African culture.

Loewe: Please who is being uncivil, lacking common sense and immoral here? You're clearly the one, added to your hypocritical way of thinking.
I clearly expressed a fact like a normal human being and backed it up with the enacted laws of our land, but that's obviously not enough for you.
African women, traditionally, have been known to marry men that are way older than them and our parents were not regarded as being immoral despite the age difference. Some of our parents have as much as 20 years apart and they lived decently, so what's your point exactly
You're not making sense. OK... just read up, u'll be alright |
Romance › Re: @ Early 30's, U Think Its No Big Deal Dating An 18 Yr Old... But U Can't Do This by MadeINchenzen2(op): 7:00pm On Mar 11, 2022 |
Loewe: While I would personally find it difficult to do myself (based on my taste and the naivety of such young girls), I wouldn't condemn anyone who prefers a lady in her late teens (18+) since she is an adult. It's really not uncommon, neither is it a crime under Nigerian law.
Age of consent in some European countries is still less than 16 e.g. Germany, France etc. and I know we aren't more morally upright than them. So pls, there is no big deal unless it contravenes the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. it is a Nigerian law that @ 18, a girl is regarded as an adult does not mean the Nigerian law is enacted on the basis of common sense, civility and morality... if you have reservations for the Nigerian constitution then it is easy to say it is not absolute! It is not absolute because you can identify the flaws, you can identify the flaws because you have sense. So if you speak with emphasis on the Nigerian law, that's not enough. In Africa 90% girls @ 18 are naive and unexposed... don't compare Nigerians with the west... You are a 3rd world country !!! |
