SportsGhana Media Blocks Team Bus From Leaving As Players Refused To Speak To Them by MadeINchenzen2(op): 11:00am On Jan 23, 2024

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NX7Zjm8RoOU

AFCON drama always hits different, but it was not expected to see a media blockade as Ghana's bus was attempting to leave the stadium as shown in the video.

Ghana had their final game in the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations. It was against Mozambique and they were -200 favorites to win. Thanks to allowing a late goal, the match ended in a draw, which essentially ended Ghana's time at the tournament.

Ghana was not the odds-on favorite to win AFCON, but prior to the tournament, they were -750 to advance to the round of 16. That essentially looks impossible now after a loss to Cape Verde and draws against Egypt & Mozambique.

CrimeJudge In Las Vegas Attacked By Man Who Was Denied Probation (Video) by MadeINchenzen2(op): 8:32am On Jan 04, 2024
In a scene captured on video, Deobra Redden, jumped over a courtroom bench onto Judge Mary Kay Holthus as he was about to be sentenced, court officials said.

A man who had been denied probation attacked a judge during his sentencing in a Nevada courtroom on Wednesday in a violent episode that was captured on video.

The man, Deobra Redden, was in court in Las Vegas for a sentencing hearing on Wednesday morning after pleading guilty to attempted battery with substantial bodily harm, a spokeswoman for the Eighth Judicial District Court said in a statement.

In a video of the hearing, which circulated widely on social media, Mr. Redden is seen leaping over a courtroom bench onto Judge Mary Kay Holthus, sending flags behind the bench falling to the ground. The bench blocks the view of Judge Holthus and Mr. Redden for a few moments in the video as cursing is heard in the background. Seconds later, three men are seen trying to subdue Mr. Redden while also repeatedly punching him.

Judge Holthus, was injured, and her condition was being monitored, the court spokeswoman said. A court marshal was also injured and taken to a hospital, where he was believed to be in stable condition, the spokeswoman said.

Judge Holthus and a lawyer for Mr. Redden did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Wednesday.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that detectives were investigating a battery at the courthouse on Wednesday morning. In a statement that did not identify anyone involved in the attack, the Police Department said that two victims were taken to the University Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, and that the suspect was in custody.

PoliticsBudget 2024: Civil Society Group March In Solidarity With Bola Tinubu & Akpabio by MadeINchenzen2(op): 10:06am On Dec 03, 2023
Hundreds of people under the aegis of the Civil Society Groups for Good Governance has said that the collaboration between President Bola Tinubu and Senator Godswill Akpabio and the entire National Assembly, is on the path of greatness for the country.

This is as the coalition held a solidarity rally in support of the President, Bola Tinubu and the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio.

Convener of the group, Chief Ogakwu Dominic who addressed the media at the National Assembly, venue of the march, said the solidarity rally was to drum support for the president and Senator Akpabio.

He said the 10th Senate under the leadership of Senator Godswill Akpabio has done excellently well saying the Senate President has in the last five months demonstrated a high level of intelligence and sagacity in terms of leadership.

“We are here to drum support for the 10th National Assembly and particularly the Senate under the dynamic leadership of His Excellency, the uncommon transformer, Senator Godswill Akpabio for his tacit support to the government of our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Renewed Hope Agenda.

“We believe that with the collaboration between the President and Senator Akpabio and the entire Senate, Nigeria is again on the path of greatness. This coalition is grateful to the Senate and the House of Representatives for promising to pass the budget expeditiously and we urge our distinguished lawmakers to keep to their words”, the convener stated.

Continuing, Chief Ogakwu urged the government to give priority attention to the plight of people living with disabilities (PLWDs). “We are here with PLWDs and we are appealing to the government to use the social intervention funds and take care of the vulnerable.

“As Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs) come forward to defend the budget, we want the PLWDs and all vulnerable Nigerians to be given special attention by the government”, stated.

Also addressing the rally, Comrade Solomon Adodo, the President of the National Youth Council said Nigerians have had their hopes dashed in the years past and that was why President Tinubu came up with the Renewed Hope Agenda to restore hope and give every Nigerian a sense of belonging.

He said, “We are here today to say that we are delighted that the Senate President and 10th National Assembly has queued behind the government of President Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu. We are convinced that this collaboration will bring smiles once again to the faces of Nigerians.

“We want to state that democracies all over the world are taking note of how democracy is evolving under President Tinubu and Senate President Akpabio. We are sure that projects that have been stunted will now flourish and Nigeria will be great again”.

Equally speaking at the rally, Comrade Lilian Cosmas said they were at the National Assembly to pay tribute to a performer and uncommon transformer who has within five months transformed the apex legislative chamber noting that Akpabio has instilled stability and good governance in the Parliament.

She said the support giving President Tinubu by the Senate under the leadership of Senator Akpabio was laudable and deserve commendation.

Thanking the Senate President for assuring of quick passage of the budget, Comrade Cosmas said both President Tinubu and Senate President Akpabio were on the right path to restoring the nation’s lost glory.

RomanceYou Are Lucky If Your Girlfriend Likes Video Games And Likes Watching Football by MadeINchenzen2(op): 6:26am On Nov 15, 2023
If you've got a girlfriend who has some hobby just as you, then you've got a partner that'll make it fun-filled with evergreen memories.

The reason the duration of many relationships is short sometimes because there are no similarities with hobbies, likes of interests between them. Boo may like wrestling and bae may prefer watching cartoon.

Relationships can be boring if a partner does not enjoy joining what the other likes.

I once had a partner that loves playing video games and watching football, and so far that has been my most memorable relationship.

RomanceDating A Lady For Too Long When You Are Not Ready For Marriage? by MadeINchenzen2(op):
There are consequences for dating anyone for too long, especially when there are no intital purpose for that relationship and you're in it without a clear plan for the future with that person.

This can be unfair especially for ladies when a guy keeps her in that relationship for so long (3,4,5,6 years) and eventually end it for someone else.

Basically the primary aim for relationships is marriage in my opinion, and if a guy is not ready for it, it is wise to end that relationship in less or withing one year... No matter how u may feel for her... Just end it !!!

This is because time means a lot to women, and she's probably turning other guys down because she's with you, also note that these guys may possibly have genuine plans for her than you and she'll have to refuse them, hoping you won't dissapoint her... To her she's already making sacrifices for being with you and If you fvck up, she might kill you for wasting her prime time or damaging her life and her creamy tiny fluffy virgin pûssy after many years of constsnt mad hammering and abortions.

Guys pls limit the time you spend with ladies you have no plans for in a relationship. Sometimes you leaves when it feels like pushing the continue button.

Leave that relationship when she's still hot in the demand market, else she go swear for you and e go catch you grin

There something unique about earning in hard currency $€£.m than in Naira... You can make $100k dollars in one year abroad if you work hard that's like 90 million naira, But how long will it take you to make 10 million naira in Nigeria? The deal about moving abroad is that you can get paid in foreign currency and be rich in naira in less time than wasting time and skills working in Nigeria to get paid in Naira.

Make your riches on time and enjoy your life while u are still young.
RomanceRe: Why I Will Never Marry A Nigerian Girl by MadeINchenzen2: 4:52pm On Nov 12, 2023
L1TTLE:
All my life I have dated only one unicorn, I call her a unicorn because she exuded characteristics that aren't typical of our dearly beloved Nigerian girls, first, I never asked her out, I was a teenager in secondary school and her mum was my mum's best friend so we were friends, dating just happened, and we were together till I was 19, her mom died and she moved away, this girl is hardworking, brilliant, emotionally intelligent, clean, and has high intellect, I don't talk much but with her I come out of my shell, we have engaging conversations that you won't believe she's a Nigerian girl, even though we couldn't make the distance thing work we're still friends, I'm not insulting anyone btw, lastly she doesn't bill me, and when she get me things she doesn't consider if I have given her something earlier, I mean what kind of Nigerian girl would even ask you out to start with? Talkmore of the rest.

now men in Nigeria are brought up with standards that are entirely different from women, you're supposed to grow up with virtue and wait for a man to marry you? But it is totally different from a guy's upbringing, take me for example, I was compared to my mates since I was old enough to want something or have ambition, I was taught to stop being a weakling and be a man, and when I reached a certain age my parents started expecting me to take care of the family or make meaningful contributions, I was so uncomfortable and I moved out, and it didn't stop there, my mom started expecting me to look for someone and settle down, although it isn't as brazen as the other pressures I get from my parents, and this is all because I am a man born of an ambitious and tough father who never smiles because he doesn't do all this with my sisters, and I have tried to know why he's so tough with me and my only explanation is that's how he was raised, so they pass that tough upbringing to their male children and their male children pass it to their children and the circle never ends, imagine working your ass off everyday with stress and everything to fend for an entitled wife and your children and someone expect you to still manage to be smiling and being obsessed with a wife who doesn't do anything to aid your predicament.

I don't have room for emotional attachment because I don't have it good as my sisters who were pampered all their life, for instance when I was schooling my dad expected me to survive with the peanuts he gave me every once in a while and when I complained he will ask me to hustle and stop waiting for him for everything, when I needed to rent a self contain he forced me to get a roommate so we can split bills, I thought that's just how he is until my sisters got into the university and I started seeing the same father sending them money upon money and renting secure and high quality apartments for them, when I graduated he expected me to get a job and move out, point is, my life was hard from the beginning simply because I was a guy.

I hardly see my dad smile, although my mum is the opposite which is why I confide in her most times and through her I learnt how to be caring and respectful towards ladies, but I don't have the time or willpower to be as mushy as a typical Nigerian girl would want, and considering what I went through I'd expect a supportive and hardworking wife to ease the hard life I had, Nigerian girls can't offer me that, because all they do is wait for a man to go and work his arse off then come and marry them, and when you marry them they become another financial burden, she will add her family join and they'll suck you like leeches, she and her family will pull you from the left and your family will pull you from the right until they tear you apart, that's why they get fat and you the head of the house will remain slim, they'll blame childbirth for gaining weight like wtf?

why I go carry my hand buy burden for myself, I'd rather marry from a society where women don't feel entitled and that's not Nigeria, no offense but yes Nigerian women are very entitled despite the fact that they have nothing to offer than birth children and make you pay bills till you die.
well, According to a famous Nairaland moniker called Mosdii " Nigerian girls are useless, all of them"

FarSide:
"Unprotected sex with 12 girls in 4 years, I'm afraid I might have HIV"

https://www.nairaland.com/7893353/im-afraid-might-hiv

Good evening fellas...
I made this post two weeks ago, I was so terrified, was going crazy but thank God for the words of encouragement from you guys. Your kind words and encouragement made me took the bold step
After thinking about my life, I decided to do the test; if I perish I perish. It is better than all the sleepless nights and nightmares.

For over a month now my Google searches is 99% related to HIV; the modes of transmission, early signs, late symptoms, prevalence rate in Nigeria, my state, general world stats.

To worsen the whole situation, last week when I was trying to hold myself together, my latest girl called that she's been feeling feverish, vomited 3x or so, she's lost weight and all... I froze. That's all what google fed me as early signs and it's barely 2 months we had sex...

So I woke up one day and fixed today, Friday 10th November for the test come rain come shine.
This morning, I woke up, promised myself it must be today. If I have it, I have it already. It's not like the test will put the virus in my system. Just a confirmation.

After all, I've joined some HIV support groups on Facebook and saw many were requesting for a match making. These would be my family at worst, they are humans too!

So I left very early for a mission hospital kilometers away from my house. I got to the place, sneaked in after watching to ensure the coast is clear from anyone that might know me.
I asked the gateman and he directed me to where I can get a compulsory patient's card. I got to the office and met no one on duty, so I had to wait. Just as I was waiting, a primary school classmate walked in with her husband, they a planning a wedding and the church directed them for same blood test.
"Whick kind wahala be this" I asked myself, I thought no one will see me here today. No wam, we waited together until the card lady entered, we got the card and proceeded to the electronic capturing center.

The woman at the electronic center was reluctant to attend to me that it must be couple that will come for the test, ahhh cou what?? Madam I'm single and I want to do a blood test to know if I'm health for a relationship or not... People come dey laff me.
Finally, I was attended to and was directed to financial department. I went and made my payment and was redirected to the electronic capturing center, when i got back, I called on the woman "ma, I'm asked to give u this receipt" she turned, "you?? Your case is different" she said. I was like has she confirmed I'm positive by mere look? How is my case different?

At long last she directed me upstairs, to the test office. Omo, I actually thought they would collect my blood sample and ask me to come back for the test result.
I had planned to go take some alcohol before I will come for the rest but no... Korokoro, the lad pricked my hand got and test strip and it was it.... Ma ma I stammered... Like are u seriously doing this now??
Just like when Kalistus ate the poisoned fish, I began to get weak.
She began asking me questions, but I was busy watching the test strip until a line began to form at the down side, it was a single line. I was a bit happy but it wasn't over as I heard it might take up to 20 minutes.
I burst prayer oo. Just then the lady at the opposite side called to ask my age and all that. Before I could turn back I say the test lady writing Negative. Omo, I jumped out, they called be back to come take my result sheet.
I rushed out dancing skelewu as I made my way to the exit gate.
My good people I'm Negative to HIV 1$2.
ur lucky ... Imagine if one of those girl is pregnant for u and also HIV+Ve and SS genotypegrin

PoliticsThis Is The Type Of Revolution That Will Change Nigeria Forever by MadeINchenzen2(op): 8:08am On Nov 12, 2023
Following the last presidential election and the just recent gubernatorial election in Imo, Kogi and Bayelsa, it is fair and accurate to say categorically that the Nigerian political state has hit an all time low and give no hope for the Helpless Nigerian citizen.
According to NEFERTITI @Firstladyship on X

"Many Nigerians believe that only a violent Revolution can reset Nigeria. They say that most educated Nigerians (especially those with PhDs) are more tribalistic than others. I AGREE to this one, but a violent revolution will not solve the problem. I’LL EXPLAIN.

THE PROBLEM IN NIGERIA IS DEEPER THAN THE NAKED EYES, DEEPER THAN WHAT YOU & I CAN SEE! NIGERIA IS A MYSTERY!

There is the internal & the external dimension:

1. Internal is The Establishment (an elite group of 1% Nigerians who controls power, & wield it as they please).
2. External is the Company (Britain). The unseen hand writing & directing the movie.

For most young Nigerians, this is as simplistic as it gets. But Nigeria is more complex than that! To save Nigeria from the Establishment, perhaps from the Company, first, we must cure tribalism & bigotry. Both are the most dangerous weapons fashioned against ordinary Nigerians.

Nigerians are heavily divided, & it started from 2014. The APC introduced a divisive brand of Politics & perfected it. Right now? educated Nigerians have become even more tribalistic than the uneducated ones, & it scares me. With the way Nigeria is going, no meaningful progress can be made.

We will continue to wallow, until we can wallow no more! The APC have some of the most horrible set of Nigerians: bandits, drug lords, certificate forgers, criminals, hate preachers, organ harvesters, thugs, tribal & religious bigots, Yahoo Yahoo wire wire, etc.

Every segment of the criminal underworld is well represented. Nigerians are in deep trouble. Without a radical opposition, I’m afraid, Revolution might be the next bet. I do not know the shape or form it’ll take, but Nigeria is ripe for it. However, a Revolution is still a pipe dream, Nigerians are divided!

What affects the North is not exactly the case in the South. The North is a feudal system, Sharia makes it even worse. The South has pastors keeping the people docile, maintaining the status quo. Our oldies in the South cannot & they will not support a type of violent Revolution.

Most of our parents are a conquered people, humiliated, on their knees defeated! I am against a violent Revolution as well. My reason is simply, “there is no telling the outcome!” And when the guns die down, no one will remember why we struck. After the madness & the violence, what then?

What started in part to correct the mistakes of the past, end up leading to probably more mistakes than what had come prior to it! When we go into towns enslaving people, know that the fire will enslave us!

My preference is still the “Revolution of the Mind” through Western Education. BUT HOW? Who is going to give Nigerians that kind of quality education? The APC? you wish! Then again, such a distributed education is still a pipe dream in your educationally disadvantaged North.

I do not see a feudalist supporting any kind of education that could lead to self-awareness or emancipation. BACK TO SQUARE ONE, what do we do? A Ronuist, a Prof Gbajue believe it is the turn of the Yoruba. The Hausa-Fulani will wait it out for 8 years, & power will return to the North.

My Niger Delta only had a bite on the pie, & when we did, it was for exigency. Nigeria kicked against my Brother until he was pushed out! The Middle Belt & the South East are almost completely left out of the equation. IT’S CRAZY, it’s as if both regions committed a taboo or original sin.

In the small circle of APC elites bureaucracy, people began to envisage the rotation of power between the Fulanis & the Yorubas.

The APC simply don’t care, their unwritten Constitution says that, “power must be shared between the Yorubas & the Fulanis, perhaps the Hausas. You cannot succeed with a violent Revolution with such an arrangement. Learn from the Civil War, it failed because of this gang up.

Some of the Conspirators are well & alive today. I really do not have the answers to Nigeria’s woes, the problem is deeper than the naked eyes can see. No amount of grammar can solve this. But I’ll try & simply summarize the “Nigeria Situation” the best I can:

Feudalism - Sharia - Religion - Bigotry - Tribalism - Terrorism/Banditry - Simon Ekpa’s IPOB - Agitations - Ethnic Tensions - The 1999 Constitution - Corruption - INEC - Election stealing - Rogue Judiciary - Thuggery - Rascality - Lawlessness, Criminals masquerading as the Police, etc.

The above is in no particular order. How do you solve such a multiplicity of problems? Again, Nigerians are in deep trouble! Those of us who are well-educated & have conquered bigotry & greed, we don’t have any type of real power to effect any meaningful change in the system.

They call us Wailers, no matter the amount of evidences, the corrupt judiciary will endorse illegality. As for me, I’ll continue to write. Good or bad, ‘pen’ is the only weapon I know! Back to my question, “how do we rescue Nigeria from the Satanic APC?”

I’m a Pacifist, I could never support any type of violence. Therefore, I am against a violent Revolution, but I will not stand against any push to rescue Nigeria. When the people feel their voices are not being heard, resistance is the result.
A well composed and profound narrative from NEFERTITI but in all that, there's no clear idea of what Nigerians can do to take back their country.

Nigerians can start with this;

1. Let Nigerians become active citizens, let the revolution start, let Nigerians pick keen interest on joining the ruling political party and clean the mess from withing using a mafian approach. Let the good citizens join the bad political party and take out the weeds for the plants to grow, they will do it from inside.

2. Use the Robinhood approach, let the bad politicians be targeted, let their comfort zone be too hot for them to relax.
