Nigerian estate developers will willingly and knowingly buy land designated for farmland, turn it into an estate and start selling and they saying in the background that "government can't demolish, the worst is to ratify"

Ikorodu is another one. They have sold al the farmlands there for private houses.

Exactly. If the Government is serious. They should prosecute officials who signed off on the approvals, and surveys where the illegal developments exist whether retired or still in active service.
If they claim the signatures were forged, then arrest staff of LASBCA who are supposed to patrol and enforce approvals who were in office at the time because it means someone was not doing his or her job or was compromised.

VFS is different from Embassy. VFS is just an agent to filter applicants, coordinate and arrange applications to reduce crowd at embassies where they do not want to deal with applicants directly. VFS has no say on decision. they are errand boys to the embassies

Yes. Before appearing at VFS not embassy. You can use Google. Type Portuguese to English Translate. Highlight, copy and paste in Portuguese section for Google to translate to English for u. Use the date of your VFS appointment for any dates on form

please how long does it take to get your certificate legalised at the embassy? I think embassy will get to NUC then to your school while it's taken back to NUC and then embassy. I want to know the period it takes o get that done

No idea. My certificate was not legalized by embassy. just the PCC
As to how long Ministry of Education (MoE) will take to authenticate your certificate, it depends on how long your school registrar takes to confirm to MoE by email

How did you get appointment to legalize your PCC after authenticating it?
I learnt that legalizing PCC is easy and not stressful, can you affirm this and if possible explain how you went about it.

I only authenticated my Academic certificates at Min of Education. I did not have to but i wanted to so if I have need for it in Portugal, I don't have to come back
PCC (coloured copy) and a photocopy was endorsed at min of Foreign Affairs on day of appointment at VFS, you pay for Legalization and they take your PCC endorsed at Min of Foreign Affairs as well and Legalize it with a stamp behind it at the Embassy. The Legalized PCC will be returned with you passport whether refused or granted

I support the demolition for the simple reason that beaches are now being made elitist.
I grew up in times when families cold visit the beach , pay affordable access fees and enjoy themselves. The government then only needed determination to keep it clean by employing cleaners/sweepers/pickers.
in recent years, every available beach on that axis has been bought from Eko Atlantic/Bar Beach to Landmark to Oniru to the numerous funny names and have ben made private resorts with exploitative access fees just to enjoy nature.
The majority of beaches should be public not something you make an enclave to exploit the public with sub par services

Dates for MAy be available on April 28 according to VFS website. Try to get and send a new application. But if you do not get, try send appeal. Better be awake from Saturday midnight into Sunday

It is not necessary. But I did it in case I choose to enroll in an academic program, I don't need to come back and do it

Travel insurance can be got from any grade A insurance company in Nigeria. I used Axa Mansard (go to their website https://www.axamansard.com/insurance/travel/general/ ). Some used Allianz Insurance

PCC. go to Police website https://possap.gov.ng/ . follow instructions and pay specified sum (N30,000) with your ATM card then go for biometrics. Police will extort you N5000 for capture if not you will be delayed

SEF declaration is on Portugal govt website. https://vistos.mne.gov.pt/en/national-visas/necessary-documentation/job-seeker-visa

In normal times, I would advise you to reapply.
But in these days when appointment dates are uncertain and PCCs expiring and running down, you already have one leg through the door. So appeal. However, VFS will charge you appeal fee almost same as new application and improve your documentation. Regards. Unless you have patience to wait for date

I included my past visas (UK, France and Portugal tourist visas) that were removed by the lady who attended to me the first time I applied in January. Also I improved the cover letter

Nobody can be an evening newspaper as you have rightly noted that the word is derogatory. Even worse that it most times comes from men who are unmarried themselves, but somehow clutch to that as the only means to put women down.

Using Nairaland as a case study, I am yet to see any of the forum's rules that says females must be married to have peace. So the obsession with the marital status of women on this site is unbecoming.

That said, marriage is a lifetime decision that can make or mar you. You should do it when you are prepared for it and with someone who wants it as much as you do. It is not for survival or change of status. If you die at 30, they will call it premature death. But you are alive and same people think you are too old for marriage.

People have different spec at different stages of their lives. Pick your own spec and shut up.

Nobody is an evening newspaper. If you are worried about single ladies/men, do well to marry one and help us reduce the population of singles. Anything less and you are an emptyheaded rabblerouser.

Honest answer please. If you had a son who by 32 was graduate and working in oil company like shell with 7 years work experience and wanted to get married . If 2 girls were crazy for him, one fresh graduate 25 years and another working class lady 39 single. Who would you ask your son to marry?

Hello SInce , they are the one requesting for it, there is no harm in trying. BUT, HAVE A VERY good explanation for the bulk sum inflow. Like liquidated investment certificate and attach evidence or family.

I have been sending mails to the consulate, they are not responding.

The appeal has to be sent where you submitted at VFS. You will be charged for appeal at VFS
That is why I re-applied as the money called for me was almost same as new application.
And VFS are not straight forward. You can send someone there and they will ask for something not with the person.
I actually sent someone there, they asked for original Refusal letter with the Embassy stamp that was with me in Lagos. I had attached copy of the refusal letter with my appeal docs to a friend in Abuja. I was pissed. it is not mentioned anywhere on their website. I just cancelled my appeal and re-applied. I was lucky Abuja VFS portal opened in first week of February for JSV when I got my refusal.

Let them Check Blenco Supermarket and Chi Shoppe.
Their prices are sometimes different from what is labeled on the shelf and what is shown on receipt. if you don't look at it, you would not notice

Buy electric credit. Divide the Ammount by number of Units you got on your receipt. E.g. N10,000 /40.97 then compare value to tarriffs. you will know your band
