I and a relative got our passports from Ikoyi office today.
We captured on May 31, 2023. Mine is for renewal and had been prepared since mid September and my relative is a fresh application that had been prepared since mid August. Go and follow up on your passports. I heard on radio today that Nigeria Immigration Service announced it had cleared its entire backlog of passport applications in line with the Minister's directive.
However, prepare to waste time. In fact dedicate a whole day.
The Officials are being discouraged from entering the passport issuing room so there is no jumping of queue. Some in the activation room are not allowed to receive calls but some put their phones on silent. The officials now call their contact in the sorting room to quickly find yours for a fee of N2000, if not be prepared to stay till close of work or day after

The Police force is very corrupt. Especially those who park their patrol vehicle and commercial bus at the Y junction on gbagada Expressway that leads you to Oworonshoki and Ogudu. They robbed me of 45,000 one early morning 5.30a.m. because I tried to overtake. They took me to under bridge at Ogudu with other cars detained. They threatened to take me to Alausa which I knew would be more corruption with corrupt civil servants. Luckily for me I only showed the ATM with little money of 45,000. They took 44,000. The are thieves. Working with their patrol supervisor, they forced me to transfer to their Opay account

Please I need urgent answers to these question.
My boyfriend who has a visitor visa to Uk was denied boarding by Royal air maroc official because his return ticket is from Turkish airline.
As per policies, I want to be believe all airlines are independent and royal air has no business with his return ticket.
I am so pained, frustrated and confused.
What can I do?

It is not the airlines business what return ticket you purchase.
Their only concern should be that you have a return ticket if you have a visiting visa or you buy one way ticket with evidence of being a permanent resident.
I experienced it when going to UK in March this year with my Mom. I bought return ticket on Qatar Airways and bought one way ticket for my mom because I would return before her as she would spend more time with my brother. At the counter, Qatar Airways said she could only board with one way ticket with visitor visa if she has a resident permit. At the end of the day, we bought a return ticket for a later date than my return date on British Airways as we wanted her to come back direct. We showed them the code of the purchase online and they verified and allowed us to board.

VFS does not receive job seeker application. I was there twice in July and August and was told Portugal embassy instructed them no to accept job seeker Visa application.

I am happy to join you here. I am confused from most of messages here. I sent them message concerning the booking which a reply was sent back to me that in two days time, they will get back to me. And also sent a request on Expression of Interest for JOB SEEKER VISA, they replied me today again that I will receive their response in two days time but within an hour, they sent the certificate to me that I have to go along with that certificate during my registration (interview).
I am confused to hear that they have closed the application. If they have really closed the Job Seeker Visa Application, my expression of interest would have not been granted. It seems they are working on how to facilitate the process.

What is the latest you have heard about scheduling appointment?
I have not been able to book appointment since June and my PCC and Declaration is expiring this month

Are you sure? I was researching online and learned you can only extend with SEF for visas 3 -4 months long for Temporary Resident Card? Yes I have UK travel history.
