Romance › Re: 8 Types Of Guys Women Avoid ! by madlady(f): 3:28pm On Jan 03, 2010 |
Sagamite: 1. The Needy Man: He’s overly emotional and shares all his feelings right away. I am completely the opposite of this. I rarely share emotions, as I rarely get emotional. And on the rare occasions that I do, it would be only shared moderately with a partner if she asks what is wrong. If she has overtly stated it is compulsory in a relationship, then it would be shared mostly, definately not always.
2. The Predictable Man: He follows rules and never wants to do anything differently. I am moderately predictable, but on rare occasions, she would be very very surprised. More importantly, I follow rules when it makes sense otherwise I break it over and over again or if possible try and change it. Also very unpredictable to know which mood a girl will catch me, the serious intellectual Knowledge Seeker or the completely silly Jokester.
3. The Arrogant Man: Has a huge ego, is condescending & rude. Hell yeah!!! Although it is delivered with a lot of humour and wisecracking which makes it fun for most people. I remember my friends calling me when Chelsea hired Mourinho to tell me I have just been hired and should switch to SkySports to see a press conference. My friends actually try to spur me to be arrogant so they can laugh. I would rather say I am confident.
4. The Boorish Man: Doesn't try to hide the fact that he's checking out other women. Yep. But I try and balance it by complementing the partner alot. I was born to look, it is my fundamental human rights written exclusively in small text in the Geneva Conventions papers. It also helps a girl understand what I like and I have been impressed with some girls adapting to ensure they pop my eyes out of its socket themselves.
5. The Cheap Man: Invites a woman to dinner and then suggests they go Dutch. Never happened ever.
6. The Arguer: Makes a woman feel like she's in debate class rather than on a date. Yea, I am opinionated. Very actually. But never when dating, just listen and study the girl. In a relationship, you have your say, I have my say and then we both agree I was right in the first place. The relationship works better that way. Joking. I tend to give very good and objective positions, so I tend to be right (this is the opinion of girls) except we are using sentiments, so I back down most times (i.e. for minor issues) if I sense sentiments is more important than objectivity to her.
7. The Self-Righteous Man: Very judgmental of others. Hell yeah!!! It is OK for people to make mistakes but it is blatantly unacceptable for them to just be plain stuuupid. I feel like biitch-slapping foools.
8. The Misogynist: Makes no secret of his bitterness toward women. Bitterness towards women? Naaa! They can't fight biology, they are made the way they are made. There is the good, the bad and the plain right ugly of that biology. Just don't spend too much of your time with them to retain your sanity. Have a lot of time to yourself, set it as a rule before the relationship. When I say time to yourself, I don't mean going out socialising on your own.
Some of the bad are detailed here: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-332296.64.html#msg4663658 One more good thing about you,you know yourself, that's always a great assect. |

Health › Re: Cancer Risk: Throw Away Your Microwave Oven by madlady(f): 2:42pm On Jan 03, 2010 |
Czario: The sun radiation consists of radiation in DC . Youre melanin should be able to cope with this, unless you're an albino. Microwave oven radiation is in alternaing current form and is far more destructive. You are a 100% correct. |

Fashion › Re: What Makeup Can You Not Live Without? by madlady(f): 1:13pm On Jan 03, 2010 |
OMO IBO: I know of the one in a tub but the one I'm referring to is small enough to go into small part of your jean pocket.
Not sticky at all.
If you live in UK you can find it in Tesco or the small corner shops. Oh thank you, yes I recall seeing a small round tin, I will check it out when next I am in Tesco. Thank you. |
Romance › Re: Who Is Your Ideal Bf, Gf Or Rather Partner? by madlady(f): 1:05pm On Jan 03, 2010 |
Akebulan: my ideal would have dreadlocks, wouldnt smoke, rarely drinks (but does), likes animals, be matured, humble, non judgemental, a big fan of education, would be ambitious, would be a student or a professional, would be a big fan of black people, would be an equalist, would be at least, biligual, would be intelligent, would be very respectful, would be honest, would be spiritual and lastly, would be a humanitarian at heart.
As far as fashion goes, my ideal wouldnt exactly follow fashion vogues, but instead, would direct their own; they wouldnt be afraid to startle people/ of people's stare (Andre 3000 and Erykah Badu's styles, trippppppppp me). WOHHHHHHHHHHHH that's a really tall order. |

OMO IBO: Not sure what you mean by normal.
I'm referring to the one in a small blue or green round tin. In a tin, the one I use is in a tub like container. So this Vaseline in a tin, is it sticky, I like the sound of the one you are using, sounds like a great all round product? |
