The carrot or carotene effect was found out by accident because people who ate alot of this foodstuff ceased menstruating.They also use carrot tables for tanning.
The lemon thing I am not sure how they found this out But it does work, I use it because I did not want to go on the pill. It is not really regulating just shortening almost like they way some female animals only bleed at some times during the year.

If you are under weight you also sometimes stop having periods.

No it's not because we are lazy but for the health factor. Periods pains can be very debelating and in some cultures your husband can not partake of his  rights,maybe even  for 10 days.

Yes i was a bit of a porker, size uk 14   but now 10/12.

Sorry but getting your p to 2 or 3 days would be too short for your health, aim for about 1 day off. Do not put sugar in your lemon tea it will effect your teeth.

Do you know a lot of female athletes have very short or no periods, because they are below a normal body fat ratio.

THE AMAKA

Yes do use the lemon method, I started with the carrot method but it really did make my skin get a yellow tint, but I have been eating and drinking lemons for the past 2 years and I am now down to a set 5 days from 8, if it does try to linger on the 5th day I take 2 on that day.

One great side effect with  drinking lemons, you will lose weight, I lost 1 1/2  in one year. No room in your tummy for sweets or snacks.

Yes I use it myself because of p pains , eating lots of carrots, carotene rich foods and eating and drinking lemons and the juice.
You can buy tablets which contain carotene based substances but I am not sure about doing that.

Some vegetarians or vegans or both pratice this method.

One other thing about eating a lot of carrots or taking carotene pills is that it does have a yellowing effect on the skin, this  really is true which is why I stick to eating and drinking lemons, i make 1 cup of tea from a 1/4 of a lemon 4 times a day. Wash the skin very well.

Cheers for that,I found that model  in the Toshiba website link you sent to me, down by the 17inch and above.

I have always purchased laptops on what I can get for my money, I know this is not the way to do it so I am really grateful for your help to find what's I really right for my needs.
The guys in the shops try to explain but I do not really understand what they are saying, and I always think they just want me to spend big bucks so I am really  happy you  pointed  me in the right direction.

Thanks for getting back to me, purchased the one I am replacing from them, they do have a great range (old kent road).
I do use it for mainly basic stuff,paint box,selling stock on ebay photoshop and such so nothing too complicated.
I would like to get a really good one, even if I have to be taught how to use some features, took out pc worlds high cost insurance so hopefully I can really upgrade,you know more than I could afford if I had to fork out.

That backup disc thing may cause me probs, but I shall do that in the future.

My internet does not connect properly, cannot connect to my email accounts. isp provider says's that the drivers or  driver  needs to  be reconnected with a disc. I cannot understand how this could be so because I can get online hence my reply to u.

The send and receive on the modem box not flashing like it normally does.

It does appear to be working, I think it may have solved some of the problems,at least I can still work with it and I have NOT seen the blue screen of death again.
I am just installing some xp updates so that should also help,I think.

Followed your instructions but no Norton showing but Black_Revo directed me to a site that looks like it maybe how I will solve some of the problems.I will work  at it 2nite if no joy I will bring it back to pc world in the morning. So frustrated my back teeth may fall out typical jamo woman,crazy, us Jamaicans call it "mad as shad".
Going to look at the romance section to see what's the new mad funny story before I start,that will cheer me up

Thanks for that, will do that first. I feel really hacked off with this thing, had no probs whilst using that really old dial-up plan, used it for years no probs just soooo slow, I sell on ebay in my spare time so this is a real headache.

Changed to a virgin broadband package, the nasty antivirus that comes with it conflicted with my Norton, so  removing both so that I can start fresh.

Thanks a lot, hope that will do it, I think I did that before when the virgin tec chap spoke to me on the phone, maybe I did not do it correctly ,anyway I will try again, this thing is really getting on my nerves.

Followed your instructions,seemed to work then the "blue screen of death" appeared again so parts of Norton must still be on it. Any suggestions?
