Sometimes I feel ashamed to be Nigerian when I look at some pple on this site. Someone from another nationality is interested in taking part in your movie industry/culture, and the best thing is to insult her. I worry about this NL hate culture. It makes one wonder if the haters were jilted by a white girl/guy. Anyway, @indzsh has a good point bc in most of the Nollywood I've seen back then don't use actual "whites" for their white parts, it's always some funny-looking indian (no racism) or even a very fair African, lol. Anyway, @ OP I think you're pretty, there should be a few good roles for you in Nollywood, you don't even need to know how to act too much, ok . |
Lol, funny thread. But why does he have to use a table fork and a KITCHEN knife ?? Bad table manners . |
maedan, we might indeed have to go on strike if that is the only way we can overturn these egusi people!
Lol, I absolutely agree. In fact, my own strike officially starts NOW .![]() |
Ne-Yo . . . . One In A Million. |
Defender - - - - - Peter Andre. Hot new album, too!! |
maedan, so that is the game right? we keep the thread alive by making all these noise here while the egusi posters quietly vote us out?
Does it matter? OK, should we go on Hunger - sorry, Silence Strike?? Lol. I agree, less noise, more action! |
thameamead:Hell naww!! For real?? Woah! But with all the exposure, luxury and fame they are being introduced to, I guess they can't complain. I mean, I don't see any of the contestants laughing with relief when they are voted off !! More like crying as if they have no homes to go to . |
while we are busy making all these noise here, the egusi posters are quietly stuffing the box! they don't even bother to post!
But you know that without us dedicated G.O.F.C (Great Ogbono Fan Club ), this thread would have been kaput long ago? We are the ones keeping it alive, not the secret egusi voters . So we deserve some respect ok? Lol. |
Fhemmmy:In our hearts, we are the real winners . Okay, enough canvassing for votes, you hear? You're making us look desperate, lol. |
kadman:Belle Amie left. But like Simon said on Xtra Factor, if losers are focused and use their experience, they can make it on the outside. Lol, the boys from The Wanted said they want Wagner to stay, but not as a contestant. Like, he could perform each week (cos he's so funny), but not be actually part of the competition. I Roflol so much! This is a dumb show but it's good for passing the time .I missed Rihanna's performance, will catch up later. It looked good tho'. |
aysometin:Lol, desperado girl .This is sooo unfair, the girls sang so well yesterday, for once, I liked their performance!! The public are crazy!! Who the heck is voting for this Katie sef?? If I was a music producer, I will manage these girls because they are the kind of girl band I would want to see in a video: diverse, unique girls, no fakes. Na wa for this show sef. I think I'll stick to Strictly Come Dancing from now on! |
I think one of Cheryl's acts must go. Haba. She has all her acts up till now, it's not fair . Simon will only have One Direction if his girls go. |
manmustwac:Lol, if they choose her, it's ojoro, cos these four girls can sing too! I mean, FOUR pretty, talented girls against ONE. Let's be fair!! I wish Belle Amie did some little dancing shaa, don't they watch The Saturdays sef?? Even for a slow song, the Saturdays always do some choreography. You need to move about sometimes! |
Hmmn, what a tie . Belle Amie lasted pretty long for a girl band, they're usually out after the first week! I choose Katie just because I want to see what she'll wear next week . LOL. OK seriously, Belle A. did well last night, if only they sing well tonight, do perfect vocals, and they'll stay. I mean, four against one, how can they lose?? |
Katie won't be out in a looooong time. Like Simon sez , without her the show would be "boring". Gosh, what tripe! I don't like Matt Cardle so much anymore, I read somewhere that he dumped his girlfriend of four years just bc the producers told him he had more of a chance of winning! I hope Aiden wins now. Or One Direction! Booty girl TreyC was rude to Danii last night, she might go. Whaaat?? Paige in? After talking back to Simon?? Wow!!!! He's verrrry lucky! |
maedan, are you supporting that egusi poster?
support ke?? Never! That smiley face is to show that we don't send . "Egusi rocks" he said? I don't think so . Lol. |
ikamefa:don't think Clash was a sci-fi movie - more of fantasy/adventure. But then again, you might be right, lol.@ topic Prince of Persia. Was never really a Jake Gyllenhaal fan, but, yeye movie or not, dude is, hmm. I would have preferred Orlando Bloom for the role; the movie would have rocked then. |
Written In the Stars - Tinnie Tempah (his real surname is Okogwu, could he be a Nigerian?? Lol, love the rap in this song. His best) The hook weren't bad neither . |
Phate07: . |
Roflol. The accents plus the dialogue . Must be Ghanaian, sorry but I always suspected their women can be very promiscuous . Don't fight me o. LOL.Oh my God, oh my God. GUILTY!!!! ![]() |
thameamead:Lol, at least he has some business experience unlike that Dr Shibby guy who memorably disgraced himself!! As for the "Salesmanship is my day job" Melissa, how can you like her new look? She'll be lost in a crowd with this new image, while as a bespectacled blonde, she commanded interest. You actually start to like her - until she opens her mouth! There are three or four that have a lot of potential/staying power: Stella - easy going, well behaved, talented Joanna - intelligent, unafraid, fast-thinking Jamie - good looks a plus , however he has a dedicated attitudeChristopher - silent achiever, one to watch Chris - boring yet very good at achieving set goals |
kadman:Lol, the British have great programming, y'know!! That's one of the things I miss when I'm away .@topic - Usher: Love In This Club |
kokoye: annita19:Yes, @ kokoye, pls, where IS your manners ? Lol . |
Asa's Greatest Hits (lol). Was just watching The Event, this new US TV drama, and heard one of Asa's songs playing during the love scene. Go girl!! |
manmustwac: manmustwac:The black hair, not a good look . I liked her with the edgy blonde hair and glasses. She's trying to look more "approachable" and appealing, but to me she was much better off with her prior image. Lol @ her being so pissed off at the boys. The thing was, in the boardroom, the guys saw she was the "weakest" link, ie, the easiest to get rid of, and in life, you need to team up with others to push the least strongest out. It was just save-yourself tactics and she has done this in the past. She has to stop thinking she is sooo special and perfect. To me Stella the tall blonde is the one to watch, she is tops in character, business mind and looks. My favourite is Jamie, and I hope he goes far. He developed a lot with this task and I hope he'll stop being too self-assured and try to be more open to learn. |
manmustwac:Lol, I always try to keep in mind all that happened from the first episode, and trust me Melissa has always been a problem, especially if you try to correct her. Remember how she quarrelled with her first PG (Joanna, the black girl) on sausage tasks. And from then on, any time anyone told her she has a problem, she'd fire back at them. That was why Jamie couldn't give her "feedback" on how she comes across as too obnoxious. Did you hear what she said in the end?? "Karmitically (as in Karma, lol) they will be retributed for what they did . . . the universe speaks louder than me bla bla." Gosh, get over yourself, babes! She was fun to watch tho, too bad the interesting ones (Shibby and now Melissa) are going one by one. Watch You're Fired on BBC 2 if you want more laughs, and you can see her in a different hair style/color. I think I preferred her when she was blonde . |
Aww, Jamie is soo cute, I wonder who'll leave today, I hope Melissa, she's soo rude and over-confident and doesn't listen to others. |
I think Chris the P.G. for Synergy should have pitched the Sculpting T-shirt better. The woman from Debenhams says it's too pricey for "underwear" - he didn't even argue. My thinking is, that some women spend more than £50 on special bras/girdles, so why should men not pay the same for a fat-sculpting tee shirt? Jamie can be such a giver-upper at times. Meanwhile, I really pity the other teams cos they have two very unsellable products . To Debenhams, anyway. They might be lucky in the homeware stores, I think. |
Who's Watching?? Lol, so from Food and Nutrition, they're entering into the Sciences . OK seriously, who else but me is getting tired of all the pitching and selling? Is that all business is about? Maybe I'm behind the times but I thought business people did a lot more than this full time . |
