frank3.16:

hi @maedan, jut got your post. i am glad tht u like it. however i just did some editing myself and changed a whole lot in the story. eg: i made sure there was a group who called themselves the saviour, whose mission was to protect the information about the black bead and ensur that instructions to protect and destroy the black bead the the right time.

then in part 2, i didnt make emeka disbelieve his father when he heard about the bead, instead he was initiated into the saviours, and helped in tracking down Mark. but he was dissapointed when mark's child was born and he wasnt the god, of course unknown to him mark and the saviour the child had been born out of wedluck. Emeka was also dissapointed when he found out that the bead was lost and mark wasnt affected and bothered.

infact, these few changes resulted in a whole lot of changes. i also changed some grammertical errors that i saw, ohhhhh there were a whole lot of them.

@adebayo201,

i will see what i can do.

the two books are currently undergoing serious edition, i hope all works out as i am planningthanks.

Wow can't imagine why you should change anything, the story was perfect!! Well I guess you can play around with it, but don't change too much of it! I really thought that "god" alaogoba whatever is a really funny villain, the way he was just killing pple anyhow grin. I wish it could be made into a movie, it will really SELL!!! Why don't you try and show one of these big producers a part of it, with a summary of the storyline? Keep it up!

Hello frank

First of all I'd like to thank you for sending me your work, The Tenth Commandment. Due to several demands on my time (even my leisure time), I didn't get round to reading your book till now. I mean it was there lying inside my laptop, for MONTHS, then I transferred it to my mobi-reader app on my Blackberry thinking: ONE DAY.

And then one fateful afternoon on a trip to visit my relatives in Ife, I decided to open up the book. And my goodness, it was fantastic!! I've finished it and even asked my sister to read it. I know she will derive as much pleasure as I have.

I had to take the time to search out this thread, just to tell you all this. I will still try to find your email and thank you personally and apologize for taking so long. It was almost my loss.

It would be fantastic if you got it published (after editing of course), but it is one of the most enjoyable pieces of fiction I have read this year. Well done friend! And thanks!

single life I'd advise that you focus on your career, create achievements for yourself, improve on your physical appearance every single day. All these things will keep you busy and your mind off your single status. And who knows, someone will get to notice you esp when you have made something of yourself. In short: work on every aspect of your life, marriage may then come before you know it.

Gosh, this is soooo unfair! He always came across as someone very mature-minded and intelligent, even though I usually didn't agree with many of his views. We exchanged chit chat on various topics over the years, lately the Falcons' Trailer topic. We disagreed on an issue but he was so polite and wise with his replies. Wow, I would never have guessed he was just 21! May the killers never know peace till they are caught and punished! RIP Bawomolo!!!!

Lol, but your location na London now, where you dey sef??  grin grin grin. Anyway, Cher shivered and shook her way through the save-yourself song, yet Louis said she was incredible, and they all gave her their votes, except Danni of course. Hope you're not surprised, cos Paije was a wildcard, and they're almost all gone now grin. Next stop: WAGNER grin grin grin.
TV/Movies / Re: The X Factor 2010 (who's Watching) by maedan(f): 9:59pm On Nov 21, 2010
They didn't let it go to deadlock bc Cher must have got the least votes undecided. I think so anyway. Anyway, on the outside world, so many pple want to work with Cher, eg N Dubz, Mike Posner etc, so the X-Factor producers know what they're doing. Cher is more valuable, it seems undecided.

Cher looks so devastated grin. She come remove shoe join grin grin, a la Katie grin grin. Abeg she should go home, she's too immature. X-Factor have tried for her. See how Paije sang with confidence, this one her voice is cracking, yeye.
TV/Movies / Re: The X Factor 2010 (who's Watching) by maedan(f): 9:49pm On Nov 21, 2010
Indestructible Katie wins again!

Sorry Paije, but I think your number is up undecided. You were lucky to last this long, but I'll never forgive Simon for what he said to you. Who knows if that's why the public forgot to vote for you.

I like Cher, but she's too mixed up.

Kenny_G:

Katie's time is up, but i dont really see her going home this week. My theory is they fought to keep her in this long so that she can at least go on tour next year(as only the last 8 do so), esp as cowell had to buy her out of her existing contract.
There are still expendables like mary, paige, wagner; so my guess is katie would go only after these ones.

Wow, that makes perfect sense (about the tour). And at least if she loses, she still gets to make the tour. These Simon & Co are too wily! No wonder they are so rich grin
TV/Movies / Re: The X Factor 2010 (who's Watching) by maedan(f): 5:26pm On Nov 21, 2010
Simon is beginning to make too many mistakes undecided. First, he told Louis last week that he'd be thrown from the show. That was rude. Now this week he's telling a contestant that he can never win. Wow, this guy's mean. One day he'll lose the love the fans have given him. And as for the new-look Katie, I wish she came like this from day one undecided. Anyway, let me see who they'll sacrifice this week for the wonderful Katie Waissel.
Music/Radio / Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? by maedan(f): 6:54am On Nov 21, 2010
Whip My Hair - Lil miss thang grin grin grin. Na wa for this Smith pickin oh, I like the song, the video, but em, em, she still looks too young for this kind of song, if she was at least 15/16. . . .anyway, this is the kind of song Beyonce would have been proud to do, so it's a good one!
Romance / Re: See what Distance Relationship as caused me In A Confused Mass by maedan(f): 7:56pm On Nov 16, 2010
So what about the "flapping" noises you heard, hmm? Did it sound like someone was taking off jeans? OK, maybe it was the other guy taking off the jeans for her, how about that? Look, don't mean to burst your bubble, but it's obvious to me that in your heart you've decided to take her back no matter what we say. So do it and stop disturbing or I will keep giving you some more home truths tongue.

bawomolo:

well prepared for the occasion?  the terms improvise and well prepared do not belong together.

it's not a must they hold a parade, a handshake ceremony and dinner would have been more befitting.

Very funny. Like you've forgotten this is Nigeria, and the trailer parade is just what the masses will relate to, not your fancy hand shake ceremony and "befitting" dinner. How many of the everyday fans would have been invited to such a grand occasion? But with the trailer, the fans in their multitude get to give the girls the honour and support in the only way they know how.

bawomolo:

this attitude to things seems self-defeating.   it seems we have become prisoners in our misery.
we just don't expect better anymore. as i said before, a handshake ceremony and dinner would have been more appropriate.

Not that I have the time or inclination to reply/argue every point raised by you or others, but I need to state my own opinion with as much conviction as ever: this is Nigeria. Nothing has been the way we want it, not for the past 60 years. It is not "self-defeating" to STOP COMPLAINING about the same things over and over again without any forseen results. Do your bit, get on with it, and just pray for a change.  Because coming to a site to rant and rave is certainly not going to bring change for you.
