kokoye:Yep, definitely a mistake. But I guess when it isn't family or a loved one, such mistakes can be a crime . Total turn-off. Don't know if guys would feel the same about a babe's foul fart, tho' . |
chyz1:Yep, you're right, their names escaped me for a second. Wish I knew when they went. They look really happy about the whole thing. I'm sure they got some Igbo names for themselves. So much for the pple saying that foreigners don't use Nigerian names . |
If you believe in nothing, then you'll always doubt everything. And yep, I just made that up . |
kokoye:Lol, ok @ OP you don't want to hear advice from the males, however let me paraphrase the above timely advice: - go to her hometown and build a house for her parents - send her younger ones to school - buy her a BlackBerry so she can have a BB PIN to pose with. - send her loads of money and your pictures of course. - learn her language. damn! NOW will you take the advice?? >>hiss<< |
gadogado:Those two guys laughing in the first pic are not Igbos, those are major Hollywood actors. I think they must have received Chieftaincy titles from Nigeria or what?? |
I think Nigerians should give their kids nice Nigerian names, though a good English/Christian middle name is not amiss. However I am a full fan of having Nigerian Forename and Surname. The "trick" is to choose a nice-sounding, good-meaning name that the child will grow up happy with, won't be teased about, and will be easy for people from other tribes/nationalities to pronounce . |
kokoye:So if a child wants to put their hand inside fire, you'll comply because they want it? Some guys have no sense of value in this society. How would you feel if it was your sister/daughter? |
obinna5000:Yeah, that's what I figured. It's the trailers that say it's better than the first, not the critics. I'm glad I'm not the only one that disagrees. |
Don't see anything glamorous in gas-ing in public . Gosh, I remember there was a chap that was asking me out for months in uni. We lived in the same off-campus flats, and I had this rule against in-house dating . OK so one day I decided to accept a lift cos I needed to run around the shops. He was kind to spend the whole day "driving" me around. This is a chap that claims to be sooo neat and used to yab me for my sometimes untidy flat. So imagine to my surprise when, just as he was about to drop me off, I started to smell a disgusting whiff in the car. I mean the smell is the slow-to-register kind, takes a minute to fully settle in the air. OMGGG!!! I almost jumped out of the moving car. The smell was like his insides must be rotting . Of course I yabbed him about it but being a guy, he played it cool. Needless to say, he was ashamed to look me in the eye after that. In fact no toasting for him again. Not that I was ever interested but that farting in the car really pissed me off, haba. Even with the windows down the damage had been done: once inhaled, the smell is unforgettable. Talk about scarred for life! |
If it's a choice between disvirgining her or leaving her, I suggest you leave her. You don't want that on your conscience. If you love her you can advise her to be careful who she dates next time. |
I think you really should try a proper fashion school, do a lot of asking around, I'm sure they are not all as costly as you think. These road-side tailors, can they really teach? Besides, there's a limit to what you can learn. In any case, for the basics, you can try the road-side designers. When you can afford it, then you can go to those fashion schools. |
omega25red:Lol, this is one I can't wait to watch. @ topic, Iron Man 2. Better than part 1 they said? How good was that, by the way?? Folks are soo easily impressed . |
Hm I knew NL gave some fringe benefits, but I didn't realise it was the "Home of Hook-Ups" . Gets you thinking>> if not for NL, hmmn<< |
thameamead:Woah, I didn't know all this! I guess that explains a lot! I hardly buy it, but I try to keep up with their big "exposes". Will try and watch that documentary. |
duduspace:This is why I {sometimes} like you . OK don't get any ideas . |
Kanye West - Power ("I don't need your pxxxy b**ch, I'm on my own d&%k ") Lol. |
Ibitoru A:Thank you for voting! ![]() |
thameamead:Lol, you've really got it in for this Sun people. Nope, it wasn't the Sun. It was a glossy mag. |
Duck Sauce - Babra Streisand. Lol, what a song. Loved it when Diva Fever sang it on X-Factor . |
thameamead:It was actually in a mag, maybe Heat or one of those other glossy rags. I wonder where all the real, principled business people are, maybe too busy to sign up for an embarrassing show like Apprentice where most of them come out looking like twats! Any scoop on this week's episode?? ![]() |
Shontelle - Impossible |
kadman:I think it's "Hit Me Baby One More Time", don't know the real title, but he rocked it. I know Loui made a faux-pas by saying Matt will win, but he knows that the public have no real interest in Mary. This isn't SuBo on Britain's Got Talent. There are so many better acts, and Matt truly deserves it. |
Lol. I don't want any of Cheryl's acts to win this year. I'm watching the annoying Xtra Factor and Loui just said he wants Matt (Dannii's act) to win. I think he's backing Dannii bc the other two, Simon and Cheryl, like ganging up on him. I like Rebecca and I respect TreyC, but Matt deserves to win. Anyone that can make me like a Britney Spears song, gets my vote. |
Obviously a fix, they needed to get rid of someone, and John had to be sacrificed. They put him up against a person that he could never beat: TreyC. Imagine someone like Wagner still in the show. John is the first scapegoat, like they say, "someone has to go home". This is the first time I actually felt sad about a contestant leaving. |
I wish John can stay, he's a nice chap. I knew that rock thing wasn't for TreyC. |
Knowing TreyC, she'll kill it. Besides, John forgot some words. |
lanfat:Ouch. |
kadman:Well, we mostly whine because, let's face it, we've seen better. I mean during Alexandra Burke's year, we had some of the best X-Factor. In fact, to me Alexandra was the ultimate contestant: week after week, whatever the song or era (50's, rock etc) she gave us a show 100%. Sorry if we're not impressed by this year's offerings . |
sara j:Lol, I agree that One Direction's performance was all over the place (the vocals, at least). But I think they have as much right as any of the rest to be there. They're young, with experience they'll get better. That's what X-Factor does, builds on those with potential. The whole show is one big joke anyway; apart from Matt Cardle, Mary and John, there's no one worth taking seriously. |
and to think the likes of cowell & cole applauded that tripe of a performance, makes you wonder if they are "patronising" her to justify the bizzare decision to put her through in the first place,
When all the judges agree like that, you just know they're patronizing the hell out of the singer. Not to justify her, but I think, to deceive her into thinking she still stands a chance. If she last more than a week I'll be shocked. |
agabaI23:Lol, well let's face it, brother might not be in the show for long after this, so I guess they can keep their thread . But seriously, I have serious respect for him as a singer, don't know if he can clinch a record deal, but he should still continue singing, maybe doing backing vocals or other stuff. He just doesn't have the pop-star look but no one should hold that against him. Go John A. !! |
. Total turn-off. Don't know if guys would feel the same about a babe's foul fart, tho'
