www.academic.ui.edu.ng. If he has requested for his transcript before the process will be faster, if otherwise, then it will take time. The earlier he starts the better and he should make sure he get someone to fast track

Verification for UI is very fast, pay for verification through the portal you paid for transcript. Change the payment slip to receipt at cash office and finally submit with your mail from Wes at records. Your verification will be done.

Wow!! Sent mine through fax with grades on it. It was accepted and verification has been sent. Does this mean after verification they will still bounce the statement of result?

It has to be sent by your school if it has grades on it, else it will not be accepted. It happened to me.

They evaluated all, the portal didn't update it early

I doubt it. WES has sent a verification mail to one of my schools even though the others are yet to send my transcript to WES. I got an email from WES notifying me.

Do they check their mails frequently? Because my certifying body (MCC) will send a copy of my certificate by mail through ECFMG and they’re expected to reply within a specific period.

All you need to do is pay for verification 5k through remitta. Change it to receipt at cash office and attach with the mail you were sent from Wes. Go to transcript office for submission, it will be verified

If you can visit their office on Tuesday, Thursday or get a contact to tip, the statement will be ready and the stories will end.

Please how long did take you to get out your Statement of Result. Been on Unilag case for my wife's SoR but it's been different tales every day. They said their system is experiencing a glitch and it showing that she has not paid the school fees and as such cannot print. Certificate we were told wld be ready one month after convocation that took place 5th April yet till this moment nothing. Unilag is now a shadow of it self.
Anybody with an alternative solution pls help.

I hear(happened in my own verification) Unilag waits for the hard copy of the verification before they respond via email, purportedly to curb sending duplicate verifications(wonder why not just verify the email one). It takes 2-3 weeks to get there after you have been notified. If you have passed this timeline you may need to visit or send someone there.

I finished from Unilag, and it's usually like that.
Unilag only attends to verifications from wes via postal mail.
The transit time from WES Canada to Unilag Records office is usually between 5 - 9 weeks after WES has notified you that the verification has been sent.
Nothing would be done until Unilag receives the hard copy from WES, before the verification response processing starts.
Please be patient, and if in doubt, you may visit the Registrar's office on the 5th Floor to confirm if any correspondence in your name has been received by the institution.

The reason I am here to make enquiries, trust me unilag will keep on telling you they haven't received it and weeks will pass by before you know

Then make further enquires as to the reason for the delay or maybe they are waiting for payment to send it via mail to the university. I think you should just contact them.

They do request for verification and in my case they have. It's taking too long for the verification to be received

I think its not in all situations that WES requests verification from concerned universities when I read it from their site, they said they MAY request a verification at some point. I haven't heard of WES requesting for verification from Unilag. I may be wrong please. Be praying they do not request in your situation.

There is a place on the portal to track documents received input your tracking number to know which document has been received

Cost of transcript from unilag 5k, courier 20k that's 25k in total. The earlier the better because it might take time. Waec I spent 25k in total.

UNIZIK - Nnamdi Azikiwe University (1st Degree)
Unilag - University of Lagos (Masters)
NECO - National Examinations Council
WAEC - West African Examination Council
CIPM - Chartered Institute of Personnel Mgt. of Nig.

Abeg any gain in evaluating NECO and WAEC, both have good greats no combination required.

Between NECO and WAEC which one is better (Faster / Cheaper)? I can use either.

You know naija way nah!!! I had to get a contact to fasten it. It took 5days for my transcript to be ready and 2weeks for the statement of result because I requested before convocation so that delayed it.

Good day all, Please I need quick response for ECA using WES. My fiancée just graduated from unilag and would like to evaluate her master's degree but the certificate is not out yet. She has decided to use her statement of result for the ECA. Please is it neccessary to send letter of attestation with her transcript or her statement of result and transcript is enough for the evaluation with wes.
