You need to pay a verification fee of 5k through the portal you paid for transcript. Go to cash office and change the slip to receipt, attach your Wes mail and the receipt submit at records office and a reply will be sent to Wes.

Hello my cannyland people, please I received an update from wes that they are awaiting verification from my institution; University of Ibadan before they commence evaluation. They are also indicated That university of Ibadan will also require a fee. Please I need help from anybody that has been in this shoe before. How do I go about it Please?

1.You can evaluate only your msc and since it's foreign no need for neco wahala.
2. Not needed since you won't be evaluating bsc
3. You need to check with the school for the fees associated to send your transcript to Wes
4. Depends on the score I don't know how low it is but I know when you max out ielts it adds points. Also people write TEF which adds a lot of points too. If your occupation is in demand in a particular province you can try pnp too. The experts here will throw more light here as I just dropped the little I know. All the best.

i have know about this canada waka for a while now, but i have been trying to make enquiries and research. this questions i am about to ask, its because i have not seen the response any where else. please help;

1. i have an Msc from a school in the UK and a BSc from unical, when evaluating, shd i evaluate just the MSc or the two and i hear WES will need the SSCE scratch card which in my case is NECO.

2. Based on 1 above, if i am to do both, please, when i was applying for my MSC years back i was able to get my transcript from unical and i sent it to the UK school myself. do i have to go to my school again to apply for another one? please if i do, is there someone that did theirs from Unical that can advise.

3. Will i need to pay anything to the UK school in order to send my transcripts to WES.

4. When i checked my CRS score its quite low, its just me and my kids, age is not favourable to me, does it mean i have to look for another means like maybe PNP?

Please help.

Go to unilag registrar office that's were all the mails come through. Find out from them if they have received any mail from Wes, if they have then you need to disturb record office.

Pls house is it possible to pay for private courier to wes to expedite delivery for my verification? Wes updated my status on 3rd june that they've sent copies of my documents through standard mail to unilag for verification.
3rd of July and the school said they haven't received any mail from WES. I called WES yesterday and they claimed it could take 6-8weeks for the mail to get to Nigeria
Unilag has stated that they don't reply e-mails until they get the hardcopy mail from WES. So I'm in a fix now, I've seen people get verified within 3-4weeks. What am I doing differently.....abeg help oo

Unilag will tell you they have responded but haven't that's what they did to me. At last when they responded before the end of the day Wes already updated my portal. The postal mail should have arrived by now go to unilag and disturb them, during my time I had someone there giving me stories I had to go myself before it was done. Secondly, I think unilag verify in batches which means they wait to have enough mails before they send back to Wes.

I got a mail from WES on the 22nd May that they have sent via mail and courier copies of my credentials to Unilag. As I type this ,I have sent WES mails and tweets 4 times that Unilag is yet to receive it as my contact in Unilag cannot find it .

What else can I do pls?

When was your verification sent? Unilag deals with postal mail for verification which arrives 3-4 weeks.When unilag verified mine, it was updated by Wes that same day.

Good evening, please this is quite urgent.
I got a contact from unilag for WES transcript verification via email, so after paying the guy, he told me he has already sent it to WES, after 48hrs I got no update regarding to the verification response from the institution. So I called WES to let them know, but was told no mail received from my institution. So I told the man it has not yet received, he said sotry he didn't tell me, that all emails sento on that day were bounced, I felt bad though but still composed myself. He said it will be resent, I disturbed him all through for 2 days to make sure it has been sent. He said to me yesterday that WES will update me soonest. After taking some chill pills all through yesterday and today, no nothing. I called him back, and he is saying i have to be patient that WES takes 15 working days to update after receiving all verification from unilag... now I knew he is just playing me. Please guys, those that did verification from unilag, does it take that long as the man claimed?... Please if not, I urgently need a reliable contact to help me with email verification. Thanks as I await replies

Good day, my people. Please between WES and ICES which one will be more faster, considering the fact that WES will still verify the transcript from the school and I don't think ICES does that. I really need the fastest of the two. If you have recent experience from the two please help me make a choice.
Meanwhile, I am using my NECO result, who knows how to get the transcript without going to Minna

The earlier you start your evaluation the better, it takes time. You can also write ielts while you work on the evaluation.

Wow!!! 35k is too expensive. Verification for unilag is free while UI charges 5k

I'm currently evaluating my ESUT degree certificate with WES. The application for Transcript from ESUT costs N35,000 for them to send to WES.

Now, upon receipt, WES will send an email to the school to verify the transcript sent to them. If I'm correct, ESUT is expected to respond to this request via email, which cost them nothing! Ironically, ESUT is now requesting I make another payment of N35,000 for them respond to this email.

I can't seem to justify the rationale behind this exorbitant cost. This is a total rip off.

So please Nairaland people, what is your own experience with WES evaluation of degrees obtained in a Nigerian institution? How much did your school charge to complete the whole process?

It can be frustrating but unilag works with postal mail which will come after 4weeks. Mine was sent on the 7th of may and delivered 3rd of June.

Please what could be the issue with WES saying they have sent verification mail to Unilag and my Unilag contact saying they have not seen any mail or photocopy since May 29th. They even went ahead to send WES a mail regarding it.We have about 11weeks until my wife's next birthday. This one CRS is spiking up, loosing 5points will be very painful o. Suggestions are welcome please
