Bibijay123, this is ur first time of using my name in a story and I'm not understanding. Chai its painful whenever I read about maggie in this story, she lived a life full of secrets and barely live a life of her own. I wonder what will happen to her next.
My question is: where was Onyinye living when she was in secondary school and how come Linda doesn't know any of her family and relatives?
N.B: when you want to write another story, you have to compensate me by using another of my name as either the protagonist or antagonist with a good character.

RomanceMike Bamiloye: Advice For Single Ladies. by maggilove(op): 7:48am On Oct 12, 2016
This advice is by Mike Bamiloye to single sisters on one of the comments he got from his wedding anniversary testimony:
MY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY DAY TESTIMONY.
In one of the comments,
Somebody said the Testimony of Faith is an encouragement to some Sisters to get married to Jobless brothers who would only profess to be living by Faith.
But I said, I was not jobless at the time I got married. I was already in full time drama ministry at the time I got married.
We had already held the 1st National Festival of Christian Drama - "HARVEST '87" (1987); and also held the 2 National Festival of Christian Drama in May 1988, "HARVEST '88"; in addition to several drama outreaches before our wedding day. I mentioned that we even had a drama outreach a week after our wedding. So, I was not jobless.
So, when there is a solid counsel for a sister not to marry a jobless brother;
WE BROTHERS WITH SOLID VISIONS AND SHARP MINISTERIAL FOCUS FOR THE FUTURE ARE NOT PART OF THOSE WHO ARE JOBLESS, EVEN THOUGH THE TANGIBLE MONEY MAY NOT BE THERE TO DO MANY THINGS....THAT IS WHERE THE FAITH-FACTOR COMES IN.
So, Sisters, wait for such Brothers....Brothers with Jobs ministerial or Job Spiritual....or Job Professional....
However, A Brother with Mission to fulfill God's Purpose in Life is the Best.
SO, when there is a solid counsel for Sisters not to marry a jobless man: it is out of Genuine Concern.
IT MEANS:
Don't marry a man who has no Vision of Missions to carry out for God.
Don't MARY a Brother who has no tangible Direction for fulfilling the Counsel and Purpose of God in Life.
Don't ever MARY a A MAN WHO WANT TO MAKE IT FAST....because Fast Food don't ever satisfy.
MARRY A MAN WITH ENDURING VISIONS...AND TANGIBLE DIRECTIONS...
Sisters, Marry a Man with Visions...
And not a Man with Televisions...
because Televisions may spoil and get outdated,
But a Man with Visions will buy several Televisions and make people watch you in their Televisions.

Christianity EtcMike And Gloria Bamiloye Celebrate 28th Wedding Anniversary (Photos) by maggilove(op): 3:51pm On Oct 08, 2016
Evangelist Mike Bamiloye wrote this on Mount Zion Faith Ministries facebook page today and I was touched:

THIS DAY ON OCTOBER 8TH, 1988 WE MARRIED.
A marriage born out of raw faith in the Lord alone. We were two years into full time drama ministry when we married on this day 28 years ago. I had spent all the money I had on ministry matters and I had no more money.
TODAY I REMEMBER THAT IT WAS JUST MAY, THIS YEAR, WE GOT OUR MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE FROM A REGISTRY IN IBADAN.
So we married without a Government marriage Certificate. WHY?
We both went to Ilesha registry to file for the Marriage Certificate when it was two months to our wedding, but we did not have the money to pay for the Registration. We were to pay about N120 or so, but we did not have the money. So we told the registry we would come back and we never went back, because we did not have the money. therefore, it was the Church Certificate only we had until May this year, when it was demanded at an embassy for Visa.
Then, I searched the house and came up the Church Marriage Certificate, and I then remember that the Visa Officer would not accept that. So, I went to a Registry in Ibadan and secure OUR GOVERNMENT MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE after 28 years.
The Marriage was born out of deep faith.
I remember it was my Best Man who bought my Wedding Suit and shirt. May God bless him wherever he is now. It was my Sister-in-Law who bought the shoes i wore on my wedding day. It was a ministry member who gave us money to sow the Wedding Gown, because we had already gone to a place where we could rent the Wedding Gown. It was the money my Sister-in-Law sent to us I used to deposit for the seats in our living room. May the Lord bless Sister Taye, my sister-in-law.
It was my Mama-Sister, (my elder sister) who got the 3-Room-Flat we married into. she paid the first year rent. May the Lord ever blessed MUMMY Felicia Adesiyan. It was my another elder sister who got the Boys Bridgade that played for us as we were driving into the Reception place at Ilesha Grammar School, in a car that belonged to one of my Cousins.
I remember all the monetary gift given to us on the Wedding Day were used to pay some outstanding debts incurred on ministry printings we made before the wedding and some debts on the wedding programs. So three days after the Wedding, we had no money again and the idea of Honey-Moon never even crossed our mind, because there was no money to attempt such luxury.
I REMEMBER, that the following Saturday, our ministry had a drama ministration in Ilesha, at the Advertisers for Jesus Christ, Ishokun, Ilesha. That was a week after our Wedding Day. AND GLORIA OLUSOLA AND I HAD TO STAND BESIDE THE ROAD LOOKING FOR A LIFT THAT COULD CARRY US TO ILESHA.
There was absolutely no money on us, a week after our wedding, to go to our next drama ministration. So, I had to walk to my Elder Sister's house, to ask her for money to travel. She gave us enough money. God bless Mummy Adesiyan. We travelled to Ilesha and met the brethren waiting for us at the venue of Ministration of our first outreach after wedding. That was then.....28 Years Ago.
OUR MARRIAGE WAS BORN OUT OF DEEP-ROOTED FAITH....
But today....the Lord has been Faithful.
Today...the Lord has been wonderful to us.
The Marriage has been fruitful and Productive.
BUT THE JOURNEY OF FAITH HAS NOT STOPPED SINCE THEN.
THE MARRIAGE THAT WAS BORN OUT OF FAITH...HAS CONTINUED TO GROW BY FAITH....
WE HAD ALL OUR CHILDREN IN FAITH....
THEY GREW UP AND WENT TO SCHOOLS IN FAITH....
THEY GRADUATED FROM UNIVERSITIES IN FAITH.....
AND THEY ARE ON FULL TIME TOGETHER WITH US IN FAITH.....
ALL THE GLORY BELONG TO JESUS THE CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD, OUR REDEEMER.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US AND CELEBRATE... GLORIA BAMILOYE, A WOMAN WHO
MARRIED A MAN WHO HAD NOTHING BUT FAITH....RAW FAITH....
HEBREWS 11:6
"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

I really understand the woman's plight, I believe she doesn't wants to lose you bxos if she had told u her real age you might dissolve the courtship.
I guess the woman is humble and dutiful if not you won't enjoy ur marriage to her ever since, many in this category are usually proud but she's the type of wife the bible described.
I will advice u not to let any fay member interfer in your personal life, talk to her calmly and let her explain why she did that, sincerely u will hear her point . Forgive her and keep enjoying your marriage. God bless you, shalom.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Who Really Is Euchaaria? Is This The New Scam Method In Nairaland? by maggilove(f): 4:33am On Sep 26, 2016
Good dayz, God bless you for this post. Can we talk about the writing job please? How do I get in touch with you?
databoy247:
THIS MIGHT BE A BIT LONG BUT PLEASE READ.

I just have to draw the attention of everyone to the person with the moniker euchaaria. I really don't know who this person is.

Sometime ago, this person came here to say she went to a job interview at mega hilton hotel where an interviewer "booked" her to some hotel room action.

https://www.nairaland.com/3356000/he-said-should-grease-bed#49458707

To cut the long story short, her two threads were taken to the frontpage by the mods. I really don't know why it was done, but this person is someone very suspicious.

Looking back at the so-called message sent by the interviewer to her, if you look at the image closely, you will notice it was doctored. The texts were freshly written.

Secondly, using a female's profile (with an attractive pic) will definitely draw attention and sympathizers. This is a very wrong move, because even if people like us do some legit business, be rest assured we were once in the streets hustle.

Naturally, I was sympathetic with the person (dont know now if the person is a man or woman). I saw one of her threads where she was pleading for a loan of N20k. I dropped my number and asked her to reach me on whatsapp lets talk.

Whenever I try to help any stranger, it turns out to be that I am helping a scammer. So, in order to be careful, I told her that I will give her some tasks to do and pay her so she earn that 20k instead of looking for where to borrow from. I gave her some writing jobs, and in the course of our conversation, she said she needs money to feed because she is independent. She asked me to send her 5k so she can feed but meanwhile will still keep working on the assignments I gave her.

That took me by surprise. Since the day we started talking on whatsapp, her number has never been able to receive calls (always switched off). I dont know how she does it but it is only available for whatsapp chat. That raised some red flags.

So, I did some digging and guess what? This same number belongs to another guy here on NL with the moniker tonytetuila who is also an economics graduate and also desperately looking for a job.

This guy (or whatever the person is) is very clever. He knows that using a profile like this and an approach like this will draw a lot of sympathizers. Guys will be like "see this young fine girl searching for a job". Let me help her. And when you do, you have just been scammed.

You cannot be searching for a job and your phone number is switched off 24hours. A lot of red flags about this person. The number is 09055587785.

If you are touched by her mega hilton story and want to help her, fine. As for me, enough of giving my money to scammers who cannot work and earn money decently like everyone else. angry angry

I just thought some people should know and be careful.

Bibijay123 thanks for the mention and dedication, you won't believe it was worth more than the dedication for me. I read The Devil has money too without a single comment, I read Allen Avenue only to comment at the end about Ebere's nuclear family but I couldn't hold it this time around. You can meet a publisher to publish those works and meet some lecturers for recommendation. I've been telling my people in the movie industry about Allen Avenue, it will come out well as a film of course with your permission and some other things if it works out. God bless you.
