The story doesn't add up, Kidnappings are almost always targeted (who would risk kidnapping a driver?). Also no one else has corroborated the story, the pictures might as well be that of random cars (and not even flashy cars for someone to even think they might have kidnapped based on the vehicles)

I know someone that was randomly kidnapped in delta state.
He drove down to his land in order to inspect it.
And that was it. The kidnappers happened to be passing the same road.
He was later released after a ransom was paid.

He was tied up in the bush for 4 days and night.

After he was released, he claimed that his kidnappers were of northern origin cos they spoke hausa fluently amongst themselves.

I actually know two people that same thing has happened to.
Please, everyone should be careful. The threat is real.

Robbery is becoming too rampant on Lagos Ibadan express way. There are fully armed fulani robbers dressed in military uniforms operating at Ogere along the express way. We were flagged down at ogere while trying to avoid a big pot hole, robbed and almost killed on our way to lagos last month. Our driver was hit with gun butt on the eye, we passengers prostrated on the express before scampering for safety in the thick forest by the road side while they ransacked and looted our luggages after dispossessing us of cash, phones and other valuables. It was a terrible experience i will never forget in my life. The Nigerian police needs to verify my claims at police head quarters Ishara Ogun state where we went to write statement after the robbery. Government needs to intervene on that road by deploying police patrol and high way check points. We can not continue like this

You misunderstand the issue.
Discrimination based on race or ethnicity or nationality is actually a crime. Regardless of what you think, the super market will be registered as a business organization and that makes it a public place. All and sundry should be allowed as long as they do not break the law.

Private clubs do not discriminate based on race. If you canno afford their membership fee, then you are not welcomed. Its a totally different thing.

While i was in qatar, I visited a club.
I didnt lnow the club was strictly indian club.
The bouncer informed me that the club is strictly indian and I might feel uncomfortable but he let me in. I didn't even spend up to 2 minutes in thr club cos I was the only non-indian there.
Music was indian, food was indian, girls were indian and language was indian.

United airlines offered direct flights from lagos to houston.
This route is a busy route and should be lucrative but thanks to our economic woes, it's proving to be a bad investment to these airlines.

United Airlines will stop flying to Nigeria next month, ending the carrier’s only route to Africa because of weakness in the energy sector and difficulty in collecting money from tickets sold in that country.

The daily route from Houston to Lagos had underachieved for years but was kept alive because of its importance to Texas-based customers, United Continental Holdings Inc. said in a note to employees Wednesday. The last flight will be June 30, after which Delta Air Lines Inc. will be the only major U.S. carrier flying to Africa.

Nigeria has restricted the amount of money that can be moved abroad after the global slump in oil prices depleted the government’s U.S. currency reserves. The country owed airlines about $575 million in air fares as of March 31, according to the International Air Transport Association.

“Repatriation has been a significant issue, as has been the downturn in the energy sector,” said United spokesman Jonathan Guerin, who confirmed the note’s authenticity.

Passengers can still fly to Nigeria on United’s trans-Atlantic business partner, Deutsche Lufthansa AG, through a connection in Frankfurt. The Boeing Co. 787 serving Lagos will be used on the San Francisco-to-Tel Aviv route, which will expand to daily in October from three times weekly, according to the airline note.
