With all due respect, lagos still remains a "no man's land"
Lagos was discovered and named by the Portuguese. Colonised by the British and conquered by Binis who named it EKO. A former nigerian federal capital that attracted and enjoyed resources and development from every part of the country.

In all history, there is no yoruba name for lagos. Yoruba and everyone in lagos are migrants.
Just like a certain drug kingpin from iragbiji, his govt officials and commissioners from osun, ogun, ondo oyo and other SW states.

So, no particular tribe can wholly lay claim to lagos as it is today. Lagos is a free for all zone that aspires to be like other egalitarian cities that promotes everyone.

We all lived in lagos and experienced the mess lagos was from 1999 to 2007. Tinubu didn’t build any bus stop/terminal, rail, bridge, road, hospital or school in his 8years despite the enormous revenues generated. Lagos was a big slum and nothing to write about under tinubu's 8years and even worst. He focused on criminally looting and siphoning the state, supported and sponsored hooligans, thugs and even manipulated the state House of assembly to create unconstitutional lcda and satanic retirement laws for his selfish gains.

You see ambode, fashola, sanwo olu, dave umahi, Donald Duke, wike and even okorocha (yes, as useless as he seems) rates better than tinubu in terms of projects.

Tinubu didn’t execute any project in lagos for good 8years!, not a single bridge or road to his name! STOP THE CRAP OF BLUEPRINT AND BLACKPRINTS!!, every governor should start drawing yellow prints and loot their states so their successors can execute projects after they have gone then.

One promise President Goodluck Jonathan made to Nigerians last year during his independence day anniversary speech was the total eradication of fuel scarcity and long queues at filling stations. But just like many other failed promises that the president has made, Nigerians are once again faced with their familiar nightmare- fuel scarcity.

It started last week in some parts of the country. Now, motorists in all parts of the country are queuing for fuel. Most filling stations in Lagos and other parts of the country have closed their stations since they don’t have the commodity. The few stations that sell the product do so at very expensive price. In the Festac Area, Oshodi, Ojuelegba, Abule Egba, and Ikotun areas of the state, touts are already selling the product in gallons at almost twice the pump price. A litre of fuel currently goes for N120 in some areas.

Unlike in the past when the immediate reasons for fuel scarcity was often known, no one appears to know the cause of the current scarcity. The relevant agencies have simply refused to tell Nigerians why they must struggle hard to get one of the products that nature has blessed this country with. Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria, MOMAN, placed the blame at the doorstep of government, saying that they have not been paid their outstanding subsidy claims totalling about N120 billion for the third and fourth quarters of 2013. According to the oil marketers, this has made it impossible for them to replenish their stock.

3.The queues continued until bubu increased prices.

4.We may have to increase pump prices because we still import over 60% of our fuel needs. Dangote refinery won't help much.
