Do not mention lad.

The time DPR shared APLs last year Nov, 2019, even HR were obscured to that.

It can be distributed in a low key.

I begin to sense something
In retrospect, when DPR began APL distributions. They had it in mind of apportioning 400 APLs at first. The letters were signed and sealed but merely for the highly connected people (applicants and non applicants with sponsors).

When it was the time to be distributed, the letters were delivered to the doorsteps of their sponsors. This process was unknown to us all prior to the applicants amassed APLs from their sponsors. It was thereafter DPR contacted the exiguous ones amid us.

APLs are being apportioned (shared and distributed) on a daily basis without us knowing. I wonder how many slots will be available by now?

Anyways, you can equally confirm that from where the info emanated. Your response will be highly appreciated.

You really need to calm down.

It’s obvious you aren’t aware of what transpired between them last year but such discussion is actually irrelevant for now. But it’s actually why SARKI transferred him to Kaduna.

Since Mr. TAFIDA is the DD, head Corporate Services and what would be SHAKUR’s role if eventually he is transferred to Abuja? That’s another topic for another day.

The most important thing right now we should be discussing is when and how we gonna get the APL.
Like I said when I receive mine by the grace of God, I won’t hesitate to testify on this thread.

Nice one Xtruzz.

What's our business with Sarki and Shakur ehn? It's on this thread that I got to know when and where former Director Mordecai Ladan was born and his age. Because of DPR APL, I have known every hither and yon appertaining to DPR yet ApL was no where to be found. What's really transpired in the company that makes our letters tarry, is what we should be finding solution to and not frivolity talks.

I was reliably advised by a top management personnel never to ever loose hope on DPR 2nd calling (LIST) because it will eventually come through. That's the more reasons i keep telling you people same thing. May be i talked too much, hence, I'm being ridicule yet, those who claimed to believe in my info can't call my haters to order.

I'll be justified in few weeks to come, I'll also be deactivating my account in few weeks to come.

I was strongly believed and I'm is still believing in second batch and your unending info. I never contend with you on this right from the onset, you can check my signatures but the time which it will happen is what I (we) don't know. I often laugh with those who oppose your update there. LOL. Will clarify. There was never any list passed from one Administration to another, thus, nothing referred to like Second batch as widely said here.
Rather what is about to happen is a quite recent compilation. I can tell you authoritatively, that 95% of those to be contacted before the end of this year were just recently interviewed(for formality/security/indemnity) sometime around mid August of this year, some of which did not apply with us in 2016/didn't scale through the aptitude test. The remaining 5% are from the powerful few that made it to the interview in December 2017.
The position that there was a 2nd batch already drafted/approved by Ladan is untrue.

You can confirm all these.

All of you here were saying that APL would show up towards the end of the year. The question is '' What is before the end of this year''? Is it when I begin to celebrate Jesus Birthday with Egusi soup plus branded new pounded yam that the APL will come? This was how 2019 presumption ended. Anyway, less than five weeks left for Corona year to vanish and we will now await how 2021 will pan out

Yes, i asked abt NCDMB on need to know bases specifically for my close friend who has no access to nairaland or any form of P connection. i can't work in DPR and NCDMB at same time. I was only trying to help a friend.

Do not put all your eggs in one basket since you have not called yet, anything can happen even if your connection is stronger. We are in a country where something changes within a flash. Anyways this year is gradually winding up but there is another year after a year. We shall get there.... It is well.

It’s only God that knows the intent of the heart.

Xtruzz hasn’t been accurate about this recruitment since August 2018.

It’s either she’s been misinformed or here to mislead people. I leave you lads to be the judge of that.

“We are in the end game now”.

I wish everyone the best of luck.

Remain blessed.

Hercules22:

Yes, there is no second batch. It’s unfortunate.
Xtruzz isn’t aware of what is going on.

The merit list was abandoned even while Shakur was DD, Head Corporate Services.

Most of the sons and daughters of ex-DPR staff didn’t get the job. An ex-staff from the South-Eastern region had to travel down to Lagos Head Office to beg Shakur to consider her son who made on merit. Her son was given APL.

At that time, the candidates of some Assistant Directors were disregarded which got them furious.

The former DD, Head Safety & Environment,
Mrs. Sibudu was the one Chairing the recruitment committee. She and the other DD’s were allocated one slot each by Shakur.

During July/August, the DPR were awaiting approval to to bring in new recruits while replacements was on-going. Don’t expect the personnel people to affirm this in case you try to ask them. The portal was open to select some candidates who would receive APL before the end of the year. Shakur’s list is no longer under consideration.

It’s good to be hopeful but this is the bitter truth.

Declaring new recruitment will be met with stiff resistance from unions and other of their regulatory body. FCC alone will ask them to produce list of the 800 approved intake in 2016. Obviously, they can only produce 400.

Calling for new recruitment adverts will be the easier way for his exit from the Department. Petitions will flow on his desk, daily. List that has been approved and shortlisted? People have been shortlisted already. Is with him.

Take it cool madam, he can call for flesh recruitment and nothing will happen if he wants to. Remember that we are in Nigeria, all that we need now is constant and vibrant prayers for them to look into the existing lists in the run-up to this year.

2nd batch will be contacted, it has been approved and documented, nomata how powerful he is, he can't change this fact. Yes, he can't change the FACT. The most interesting part is, he is also with the FACT/EVIDENCE that will eventually land him in trouble if he temper with the list and he knows.

Let me tell you something, he can't fault the process in other not to put those whom have resumed in jeopardy.

He can't replace the approved names either, because the original list is littered both at the supervisory ministry, his office, fmr heads of DPR etc.

Changing the FACT will land him in unsolvable problem. Eyes are on him and he knows. Let him keep delaying because that's the best he can do. He is deliberately delaying the release of the 2nd batch..

This info is from a reliable source. Doubt me, you are on your own.

nice job Madam. Thanks

DPR warns public against fake recruitment notices

The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has alerted members of the public to the activities of some unscrupulous persons, who are circulating fake recruitment notices on Social Media.

The DPR, in a statement signed by its Head of Public Affairs, Mr Paul Osu, on Monday in Lagos, noted that their motive was to deceive unsuspecting Nigerians into parting with huge sums of money for employment into the agency.
Osu said: ” They do this by masquerading as recruitment agencies and issuing bogus ‘DPR recruitment forms 2020/2021’ with spurious claims and promises of job offer into DPR.

“We hereby wish to state categorically that DPR is currently not conducting any recruitment exercise and has not engaged any persons, agents or consultants to act as intermediaries for any recruitment exercise.”
According to him, the DPR had not authorised anyone to charge any fees or issue recruitment forms on its behalf.
He said: “For the avoidance of doubt, we wish to reiterate that employment into the department is carried out in accordance with extant rules guiding such exercises in the Nigerian Public service in line with due process philosophy of government.
“In this regard, therefore, we would like to advise members of the public to discountenance any information circulating in the public space, particularly on social media regarding ‘DPR 2020/2021 recruitment forms.
“The public is enjoined to note that recruitment notices by DPR is usually published in national newspapers and our official website- www.dpr.gov.ng.

Osu added that any person who does otherwise was at their own risk.

The Acting Director never had the power to approve the dispatch of letters. I guess most people weren’t aware of this. A substantive director can do that.

Alhaji Shakur couldn’t be confirmed because he is from the non-technical arm of the Agency.

You guys should be happy about this new development.
Marvel68:

No one knows the fate of Shakur until his return from Abuja. When Sarki learnt of his disappearance he asked his team about how he was granted permission to travel.
The Heads of Department weren’t happy with him because he wanted to transfer most people from the Head Office.
You won’t believe he issued a query to Sarki on the day of their retreat through the Head, Engineering and Standards. The following week Sarki was appointed.
According to Buhari, he needed someone left with more than four years of service and from the North West since former directors came from other Geopolitical zones.
With regards to the list, nothing will change.

Since the appointment of the new director, Shakur hasn’t reported to the Head office from Abuja. The new director called for an emergency meeting and observed that Shakur was absent.
He was upset and called Shakur to tell him that he’s the new boss and should report ASAP.
Sarki was the 16th ranked DPR officer before his appointment. Shakur and Sarki never had a good working relationship.
The new director was known for his humility and zero tolerance for corruption and incompetence. I can’t confirm if the second half of the recruitment has been suspended Shakur will have to report back to the Head Office for further actions to be taken.
Let’s wait and see.

Does this make any sense to you?
