You signed up only yesterday? one day is more than enough to decide which of the usernames you should ignore or read. I think, by the time you are here for a week- u will graciously go back to Ethiopia.

Ikengawo:
not true. most nigerians in Nigeria don't know what's happening in NIgeria.

as an american i have access to any piece of information in the world about anything in the world. I can tell you the temperature in Jos way before someone in an Akwa Ibom village can.

There's 3 computers in my house alone and i went through one of the world's best education systems (or at least one several times better then Nigeria's). Most Nigerians don't know anything past their immediate reality due to a lack of access to information (libraries, good schools, electricity, computers, information based television ect.)

diaspora nigerians even heard nigerian music before nigerians do now.
the MINUTE it drops, where as nigerians hear it once it's popular in their area.
not true. most nigerians in Nigeria don't know what's happening in NIgeria.

Hahahaha. How can someone with enough sense make this statement?

as an american

Who cares if you are American or Iraqi? what difference does that make to the topic then?

There's 3 computers in my house alone

Only 3? Some of us have seven.

diaspora nigerians even heard nigerian music before nigerians do now.

So? This then means they are masters on Naija matters?

i went through one of the world's best education systems

No wonder. Best indeed. We can see. Thats why there "is" 3 computers and not there "are"

ok - as in talk is cheap?
What are you talking about? Most of the Nigerians who comment on Nairaland, were born and raised in Nigeria. Very few Nairalanders were raised in the West. Haven't you realized that by now?

And many of the Nairalanders who comment only went to the West to further their education. I am pretty sure most know what is happening in Nigeria.

For example, I go to a university in the U.S., but when I am not at the university, I am at my home in Port Harcourt. Do you understand now?
Bros, you are contradicting yahself nah. Na be you just say most of them no know anything about Naija?
Most Nigerians in the Diaspora do not know what is happening in Nigeria. They sit oblivious to what is happening. They enjoy Nigerian parties, say how proud they are to be Nigerian and act like nothing is wrong.

They go to the posh areas of Lagos or go to Abuja and believe all of Nigeria is like that.

Nigerians in the Diaspora are not connect to what is happening in Nigeria. I am pretty sure that most Nigerians do not know where Jos is located in the map unless they have family in the region.
Brilliant discussion.

Ok. So, the diasporic Nigerians are clueless about Nigeria and whats going on in Nigeria? Hence they cant revolt. ok, granted. How come they are the ones that makes the most noise on Nairaland, SaharaReporters, 234next, etc?

I am confused what is their plot then.

Egyptians in the US made a protest at the UN - as in Mubarak must go.

Our own only talk but no action. They sit behind the computer and laugh at everyone but themselves.

What is wrong with Nigerians?
Right now, what are Nigerians to do?
If all these allegations/reports are true, is there no medium through which Nigerians can communicate with GEJ himself?
The most disturbing issue is the Jos crises.

The main problem is that there are no other candidates contesting for the presidential office as far as I'm concerned.
Until when the Nigerian People are able to produce their own Candidates by themselves on the basis merit and unified decisions, instead of wasting time and energy supporting either a desperate individual or one is being USED by an equally corrupt/or even worse party, (and mind you, all of them have imposed themselves on the
People to be voted for, and not actually chosen by the people to run for any office in the first place) the kind of quick change they desire would be quite elusive.

Nigerians are not dumb People, I believe a good percentage have good foresight and think deeply concerning future possibilities and then weigh the positives against the negatives.

Is there really going to be overall positive change if any of the two other parties comes to power?
Do I really know who the candidates contesting are and their true ideologies?
Am I being sentimentally against the presently ruling party due to their overall poor score in handling affairs of the country in the last 12 years that I may support someone who may even be worse-off?
Can Change be made with what we have at hand now and if so, which change would be more convincing and lasting - a change emanating from within the present party or a change with a new political party?
You are the only one making sense here and I love it, very good points.

Look.

You can think all you want. In fact, conclude that I am even yourself (LOL).

In my opinion, it is completely foolishness to conclude that three different people are the one person just because they do not share the same logic with you.

I had personally ignored this line of reasoning for a long time, but when you are taking it too far, I had to speak about it. On this one, you and your likes are wrong just like you are wrong and make no point on every topic.

LOL.

PoliticsRe: Calling A Reckless Gej Government To Order by MaJBlige(f): 1:44pm On Jan 30, 2011
it is complete rubbish to assume that three people arguing against you are one and the same. So, you are surprised that some people do not agree to your in objective line of reasoning? Because the three people dont agree with you, hence they are the same person? How do you reason as such?
