Time without number I've always said that most automoblile accidents are caused by human factors, and majority of them are avoidable. Example is as above. The driver knew his vehicle had no lights and still went ahead to drive at night, to further worsen the situation he was on speed. How daft can some drivers be. Next thing we begin to blame the devil. May the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen. 2 Likes |

[quote author=tosh_acer] So merely looking at these pictures could tell you this is Zone 3? Haba? I have never seen these types of low depth drainages in Abuja.[/quot Go to zone 3 shopping complex tomorrow. Stop at the front entrace gate(it faces the hospital in zone 3, and also faces the police station) the take a look around you. You would see this drainage. I can't mistake this dfrainage even if I'm asleep cos I see it every blessed day. The blue plastic you see in the pic is that of those who hang around there, they are guys who fumigate houses and offices and wash rugs also. |

emmysenior: Like I earlier said, this post is not aimed at tarnishing anybody's image, maybe the traffic lights you saw were repaired recently, this thread is 3days old, and as for the drainage channels, go to area 8 after the bank zones you'll find some, you can also find other blocked drainage channels along custom road in Wuse 3. I never said you are a liar bro. I have nothing to gain by defending what is wrong. I live and work in Abj just like you do and trust me I frequent all those routes probably more than you do. Like you said your post is three days old ,but my investigation tells me that the. Street light you posted has been working for abt 14 days or more. Its was recently repaired and is now powered with a solar module. Just like so many others also e.g Febson mall junctn, wuse market, zone 4 by sheraton and so many others. I think we should not cover up the truth in our quest for a demand to good leadership. Cheers bro |

touchmeder: Abj is a small city. Merely looking at the pictures any one who frquents or lives in Abj knows all the location. First is Zone 3 by the police station, the drainage is also at zone 3 opposite and behind Zone 3 shopping complex, there is also one at wuze 2 junction by nnpc fillig statio close to mr biggs. I am sorry I don't know the name of the streets but those are the landmarks. |

obo_nyunmi: The drianaiges are closed but few of them are opened due to vandalism and poor maintenance culture. The open drainage in the pic is at zone 3 opposite the one story shopping complex, and behind Neighbourhood complex, also adjascent to zone 7 polic HQ, there are also blocked drainages behing the shopping complex, thank God the op brought up the issue of the blocked drainages cos they are eye sores and also has foul odours. The sad aspect is that the open drainaiges has bn turned to dumpsites by the food sellers adjascent Zone 3 shopping complex and behind Intercontinental shopping complex. Take a walk around this places tomorrow and see for yourslef. |

@ OP : Most of the traffic lights you posted are presently working as I type. Example is the first pic @ wuse zone 3, its perfectly working and being powered by solar modules. If you drive round Abj you wolud notice that most of the traffic lights are currently working as a result of the recent repairs and you would also notice that most of them are now powered by sloar means. But the worrisome trend is that of the blocked drainages especially in Zone 3 like I see in one of your pics. I. Could up-load pics if needed to prove that the first traffic light in ur post is working prefectly as of this moment. Please don't mislead people. |

Now who's the real "theif"? , when people seat and loot government fund with pen, paper and just a signature. For Gods sake this staggering amount of money can fkn cause me sleepless nights when I think of it. Does any one need to be told that Govt. Officials in Nigeria are the most corrupt. For Gods sake that money would educate millions of Nigerians and also put f_u_c_k_i_n_g good food of millions of starving peoples table. OMG! I weep for my beloved Nigeria. |
Romance / Re: Pls Help, Am Addicted To Prostitutes by majekleo(m): 9:31pm On Mar 17, 2013 |
Bad habits are very easy to start but difficult to quit, what matters most at this moment is your willingness to quit or reduce it drastically. I have a few tips for you. (I)firstly try reducing the amount you spend drastically, possibly you draw a chat and project :from 30 to 25k, then 20k , 15k till it reduces to the barest level. (ii) try reducing how frequent you pick prostituttes, possibly use same method above. Always believe you could do it. Always say to your self" the mind controls the body" . I was once addicted to bloO.dy cocacola but I used same method and it worked absolutely well for me, also I used to believe I could never stay a week without alcohol but I challenged my fear and today I could stay weeks without alcohol. You too could do same or even better, I all takes determination, above all PRAY, there is nothing God can't do. NEVER GIVE UP. 1 Like |

@ OP, seems you read my mind, while at home this morning doing my daily morning rituals, I thought to myself If I could recite the 36 state but to no avail. My best was 31 states only. That 30 states and capital has sunk into my memory and might be difficult to edit it to 36 states, Probably when I am able to recite it without flaws the FG might have added more states and further complicate the matter. |

If only it were Mallam Naisr EL-Rufai that Governed Lagos it would have been a different ball game by the time they saw hefty bull dozers ready to pull down make-shif shops and shanties. His radical approach to cleanliness worked in Abuja e.g Wuse Market nd UTC to mention but a few. Its high time we began to do the right things always, there shouLd be no dialouge when it comes to keeping ur immediate environment clean and green. "My humble opinion" |

Curses work 100% perfectly according to a verse in the bible which I read some time ago, its sad that I can't remember the book and verse, I would hove quoted it, however the verse in question said: "for anyone who deserves a curse and is cursed, it shall come to pass" I'm sorry I can't remember the verse in the Holy Bible, but I am definitely sure I've come across it some time ago. |
