Kpac: Watched the whole video and never saw a moment Romney was angry as u faked your story.
All I saw was romney trying to in every possible, fair way explain his views,it was a sensitive discussion and it was a professional argument, nothing more.
And the about 11 minutes of that video shows an intelligent man whose 11 minute discussion is better that your own president's speeches of 3 years combined.
I have stopped complaining to God about the kind of president we have in Nigeroa, when I see people like you who comes online with fake news, all in the motive of causing caos and people like callotti who obviously didn't watch the video but come here to add salt to injury,I conclude Nigerians have the president they deserve.
American presidents aren't typically supposed to show this level of emotion, here it would be considered angry
in nigeria politicians scream and act like wolves, so im not surprised that you think this isn't bizarre.
Music/RadioWhy Is It Hard To Sell Female Artists In Nigeria? by MajeOfficial(op): 6:22am On Nov 05, 2012
I look at Nigeria and it's clear to see the only profitable female artist seems to be Tiwa Savage.
It's not that we don't have an abundance of females that try but it seems music has always been dominated by men in proportions that eclipse other countries.

When i listen to east african music it's very common to see a female singer or for them to use a female voice. As for us, traditional music and non traditional music is almost completely male except 1 or 2 artists in every generation that's female.

Not saying that this makes nigerian music bad, im just wondering what your opinions were on the situation?

“Homosexuals Want To Sleep With Me” – John Okafor aka Mr. Ibu

4 November 2012

Famous comic actor, John Okafor, otherwise known as Mr. Ibu, has lamented that the Nigerian motion picture industry – globally known as Nollywood – is currently being ravaged by a virus called homosexuality. In this interview, the thespian discloses that some guys had been after him, trying to harass him sexually.

He says: “One idiot came toasting me o! That is true, as funny as it would sound.

“Something is happening in this Nollywood. These upcoming actors are being used by some of the established producers who are gays. If you want to get a job as an up and coming actor, you must sleep with them. You must be sexed to get a job.

“We are no longer in the era of the female actresses suffering from sexual harassment; it is now man to man. Abomination! God has a lot of things to judge.

“Man to woman is also bad, but we can easily overlook that. Why not put your p*****s in the right place. There is something spiritual in that thing (frowns). Why would you bend down for one idiot to penetrate you, thereby destroying your future? You left God and bowed to devil… by the time you get up, you get up as a woman, while the idiot that penetrated you walks away majestically! Their payback is sudden death, and it keeps happening.”

This is not the first time the actor would talk about his experience with gays in the make-believe industry.

In a recent interview in Houston, Texas, US, Mr. Ibu also voiced his conviction about the virus eating deep into the industry:

“I am sorry if my friends are involved. It is a virus and it is killing our industry. If there is any way in this world that people can make them stop it or kill it, please do it. God will punish you, because God did not advise you to do it. God designed woman and dashed us for free,” he stated.

PoliticsOkada Ban: Lagos PDP Tells Fashola To Learn From Jonathan (idi Amin Nko?) by MajeOfficial(op): 3:53am On Nov 04, 2012
Okada ban: Learn from Jonathan, PDP tells Fashola

The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has urged the governor of the state, Babatunde Fashola, to stop the clampdown on commercial motorcyclists, known as Okada.

The Publicity Secretary of the party in Lagos, Mr. Taofeek Gani, said it was a mark of good leadership to reverse policies that adversely affected the lives of the people, just like President Goodluck Jonathan did with the removal of fuel subsidy and the proposed introduction of N5000 bill.

Gani accused the Action Congress of Nigeria-led administration of passing the traffic law to open up more avenues for the generation of revenue for the party to the detriment of Lagos residents.

He said, “Seeing the level of hardship the restriction Okada has caused, I think the reaction of a sensitive government would be to reverse the decision. Fashola should learn from Jonathan. When Jonathan saw the level of protest against the introduction of the N5000 note, he stopped it. He also reversed the total removal of petroleum subsidy in January because of the effect it would have on people. That is how leaders who are interested in the welfare of people act.

“In spite of the fact that internally generated revenue in Lagos has risen to N48bn per month, they are still looking for unjust ways to make money. They insisted that firms such as courier companies should purchase motorcycles from government agents before being permitted to run on the roads.”

According to Gani, the traffic law is also meant to frustrate commercial bus drivers, who the new law stipulates must wear uniforms and badges that are to be purchased from the state government.

He said, “ACN wants to push out all these people earning a living by transporting people and then handing over transportation in Lagos to their cronies. They have driven Lagos from capitalism into imperialism.

“ACN is now showing what it is made of. Before the election in 2011, they gave helmets and vests to the okada riders. The okada riders were behind Fashola everywhere he went to campaign, then they were not armed robbers and they were not causing accidents. Weeks after he got the second term, he started chasing them everywhere. The same thing they did with the Lekki toll gates. They did not collect any toll until after the election.”

However, the state government had insisted on the ban, claiming that no fewer than 619 people were either killed or seriously injured in commercial motorcycle accidents across the state in the last two years.

While quoting from the record of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, the Special Adviser to Governor on Media, Mr. Hakeem Bello, in a statement said out of the number, 107 people died while 512 sustained serious injuries.

Similarly, the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Umaru Manko, recently said 98 per cent of robbery incidents in the state were allegedly committed by okada riders.

He said, “They wait for people at the bank and other strategic places to rob them. I think the government of Lagos State is lenient with them. If I were to make law for okada riders, I will recommend that it should be banned completely.”

PoliticsGowon Calls Chinua Achebe 'ignorant' by MajeOfficial(op): 10:46am On Oct 28, 2012
Gowon Hits Achebe on Civil War, Says - He Wrote Out of Ignorance

https://africanspotlight.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Picture-483.png
War time Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, has criticized renowned author, Professor Chinua Achebe, over his new book on the Nigerian civil war, saying he{Achebe }does not know the issue he was writing about.

Gowon said he was ready to face the International Criminal Court (ICC) at the Hague on the matter if necessary.

"What role did Achebe play in the secessionist plans? Achebe must have been outside the country during the war and probably did not know what happened during the period otherwise he would not have written on what he was not sure of ", he remarked.

The erstwhile Nigerian leader, who was answering questions from journalists courtesy, visit to Governor Mu'azu Babangida Aliyu at the Presidential Lodge, Minna, Niger state, yesterday, said Achebe must have been talking out of ignorance, adding that he and the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo had no regrets over their roles in the civil war, pointing out that if there was no secession, there would not have been civil war.

"In fact , if there was no secession by the south eastern part of the country, there would have been no civil war because right from the beginning of the crises, the war would have been averted if not for the secession . It was something I believed we could have stopped," he stressed.

Gowon also debunked the claim by the author that his administration embarked on the mass killing of Igbo, adding that the federal troops did not also use hunger as a weapon to dislodge the dissidents.

"It was the Igbo that objected to the creation of corridor for movements of medical aid and food supplies to the civilian population at the period; on this, I am ready to face the International Criminal Court of Justice at the Hague for prosecution over the role played by me during the war and, fortunately, some Nigerians are still alive to bear witness to the roles played by both the leadership of the secessionist group and the then Federal Military Government under my leadership, "the war-time leader stated.

He also recalled that during the war, a ship named "Josina" and owned by the secessionist group, which they claimed was carrying agricultural implements, was captured by federal troops and it was subjected to a thorough search and the cargo turned out to be a collection of arms and ammunition.

Gowon, who was in Minna for a 2-day prayer organized by Nigeria Prays, a group he leads, said that the massive deaths recorded by the Igbo during the civil war was caused by their own propaganda machine which claimed that the northern invaders were coming to their camps and that caused panic and pandemonium among their people because some people were trying to move from one location to the other out of fear of imaginary attacks by the so called northern invaders and without food.

Brazilian Student, 20, Agrees To Sell Her Virginity For $780,000

A 20-year-old Brazilian student Catarina Migliorini is set to sell her virginity for a staggering $780,000 after she put it up for auction online.
She making news around the world for selling her virginity to the highest bidder on an on-line auction.

A man called Natsu, from Japan, fended off strong competition from American bidders Jack Miller and Jack Right, and Indian big-spender Rudra Chatterjee, to secure a date her for $780,000.

The auction closed Wednesday morning, and the physical education student, who said she will use the cash to build homes for poverty-stricken families, was the subject of 15 bids.

Catarina's move sparked outrage across the globe, with many claiming she was little more than a prostitute.

She also caused controversy when she revealed she would be followed every step of the way by an Australian crew for a documentary film called Virgins Wanted.

But she said: 'I saw this as a business. I have the opportunity to travel, to be part of a movie and get a bonus with it.

'If you only do it once in your life then you are not a prostitute, just like if you take one amazing photograph it does not automatically make you a photographer.

'The auction is just business, I'm a romantic girl at heart and believe in love. But this will make a big difference to my area,' she told Folha newspaper.

Catarina will be 'delivered' to her buyer on board a plane between Australia and the U.S. - being interviewed before and after the sexual act.

The intercourse itself will not be filmed and Natsu will retain a right to be anonymous, without his picture appearing in the media.

intimacy gadgets will be banned from use and a condom will be compulsory, with Catarina saying she was prepared to prove to any skeptics that she has not had sex before.

Natsu will be tested for sexually transmitted diseases prior to the encounter.

A male virgin called Alexander, who is also being followed as part of director Justin Selsey's documentary, sold for $3,000 to a Brazilian woman called Nene B.

Catarina previously said she wanted to plough the money, $20,000 and 90 per cent of the final auction sale price, into a non-governmental organization which will construct modern houses in her southern home state of Santa Catarina.

Most Nigerian Profs and Docs do nothing other than teach and attend numerous meetings at best they engage in low level research work that will never get published in journals such as Nature, Elsevier etc. I dont think they need to force their ways into media houses to put their opinions out, but they have lost so much relevance that nobody really calls them to discuss issue of national interest but Imams and Pastors are rather called to discuss issues that needs critical thinking in Nigeria!
again you're assuming and lying.

PoliticsRe: Fashola, Obi Disagree On Geo-political Zones, Constitutional Amendment by MajeOfficial: 2:06am On Oct 19, 2012
exactly. People dont even know the laws but want them changed. We're scapegoating the constitution for their problems but can't name a single law or clause that they disagree with.
I've read the constitution to find 'the flaw'. I couldn't. It's the fact that what's in our constitution isn't followed.

the constitution gives provisions for changing the parts of it you don't agree with. Yet Nigerians, because we have the mentality of building something new instead of maintaining or improving something old, will never agree. This is the problem with our buildings, roads, schools, etc. Someone will build a new school instead of making the schools on the ground work class producing millions of educated illiterates. Now we want to use that same mentality and start from ground zero with our constitution as proposed by people who can't tell you what in the constitution they disagree with.
PoliticsRe: Fashola, Obi Disagree On Geo-political Zones, Constitutional Amendment by MajeOfficial: 2:00am On Oct 19, 2012
Well i agree with him. What good is a constitution to a lawless people?
What flaw is in the constitution. Nobody can point to one single flaw, but they want the whole document abolished
The flaws of nigeria on the other hand, any and everyone can make you a 100 page list of those. So where is the problem?
Nigerians. We're the problem. Our system as written works, our system as practiced doesn't.

For instance, everyone wants a sovereign national conference. Our constitution designed our National Assembly to be a perpetual and active SNC.
All federating units are democratically elected to debate the nations issues and organization.
Still nigerians use rigging and voting for 'big men' to turn it into a den of thieves void of creative ideas and input.

zoning will turn inter state conflict into civil wars.

Forbes: Oyedepo, Oyakhilome Top The List Of Nigeria’s Richest Pastors. Check out the full list
People view the wealth of men of God from different angles. While some think there’s nothing bad living a good life filled with abundant wealth, others believe men of God are just supposed have enough, and that their calling doesn’t require excess.
Whichever way you choose to look at this, everyone has a right to their opinion.
Here are the five pastors Forbes think are the richest in Nigeria.
1. Bishop David Oyedepo
Affiliation: Living Faith World Outreach Ministry, aka Winners Chapel
Estimated net worth: $150 million
David Oyedepo is Nigeria’s wealthiest preacher. Ever since he founded the Living Faith World Outreach Ministry in 1981, it has grown to become one of Africa’s largest congregations. The Faith Tabernacle, where he hosts three services every Sunday, is Africa’s largest worship center, with a seating capacity of 50,000. Oyedepo owns four private jets and homes in London and the United States. He also owns Dominion Publishing House, a thriving publishing company that publishes all his books (which are often centered on prosperity). He founded and owns Covenant University, one of Nigeria’s leading tertiary institutions, and Faith Academy, an elite high school.
2. Chris Oyakhilome
Church: Believers’ Loveworld Ministries, a.k.a Christ Embassy
Estimated net worth: $30 million – $50 million
Last year, the charismatic preacher was at the center of a $35 million money laundering case in which he was accused of siphoning funds from his church to foreign banks. Pastor Chris pleaded no wrongdoing and the case was eventually dismissed. His church, Christ Embassy, boasts more than 40,000 members, several of whom are successful business executives and politicians. Oyakhilome’s diversified interests include newspapers, magazines, a local television station, a record label, satellite TV, hotels and extensive real estate. His Loveworld TV Network is the first Christian network to broadcast from Africa to the rest of the world on a 24 hour basis.
3. Temitope Joshua
Church: Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN)
Estimated net worth: $10 million – $15 million
Nigeria’s most controversial clergyman is also one of its richest and most philanthropic. T.B Joshua heads the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN), a congregation he founded in 1987, which accommodates over 15,000 worshippers on Sundays. The Pastor has remained controversial for several years for his inexplicable powers to heal all sorts of incurable diseases, including HIV/AIDS, cancer and paralysis. For miracle-craving worshippers, it’s the perfect seduction. The church currently has branches in Ghana, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and Greece. In the past three years, he has given over $20 million to causes in education, healthcare and rehabilitation programs for former Niger Delta militants. He owns Emmanuel TV, a Christian television network, and is close friends with Ghanaian President Atta Mills.
4. Matthew Ashimolowo
Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC)
Estimated net worth: $6 million – $10 million
In 1992, Foursquare Gospel Church, a Nigerian church, sent Ashimolowo to open a satellite branch in London. But Pastor Matthew had other ideas and decided to set up his own church instead. Today, his Kingsway International Christian Center is reportedly the largest Pentecostal church in the United Kingdom. In 2009, the church posted profits of close to $10 million and assets worth $40 million. Ashimolowo earns an annual salary of $200,000, but his real wealth comes from varied business interests including his media company, Matthew Ashimolowo media, which churns out Christian literature and documentaries. Ashimolowo’s representatives did not respond to a request confirming his net worth and ownership of all these assets.

5. Chris Okotie
Church: Household of God Church
Net worth: $3 million -$10 million
Pastor Okotie made his first success as a popular pop musician in the 80s. He found the light, embraced the bible and set up the Household of God Church, one of Nigeria’s most flamboyant congregations. His 5,000 member church consists predominantly of Nollywood celebrities, musicians, and society people. He contested and lost Nigerian presidential elections for the third time this year under the Fresh Party, a political party he founded and funds. An automobile lover, he owns a Mercedes S600, Hummer and Porsche among several others.
