In all the court sittings where have the court said Abure should be LP chairman? None, and I want you to prove me wrong. It was some members of the NWC that nominated him as chairman and the highest organ of the party had override that decision and chose an acting chairman.

There was no case of such for now in any court. The yesterday sitting borders on t jurisdiction of the court to hear the case brought by 5 members of the party and the substantive case would be heard on 19th May. You people should try and be following news keenly instead of rely on sensational news.

Abure is appealing the case of jurisdiction to even hear the case brought before the court by some party members, which the court never never requested for their membership cards before admitting their case to be heard. How did the court know they are members of the party without admitting their membership cards first?

The Julius Abure and Lamidi Apapa factions of the Labour Party have been at loggerheads on who is the recognised Chairman of the Party.

The power tussle snowballed into holding factional primaries to produce Candidates who will participate in the November 11 Governorship Elections holding in Kogi, Bayelsa and Imo States.

Interestingly, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) published the names and particulars of Candidates produced by the mainstream Abure faction.

Whilst the Apapa-faction produced Joseph Ikechukwu Ukaegbu in Imo State, INEC upheld Athan Nneji Achonu of the Abure faction.

In Kogi, factional primaries held at the Big Brother Hotel and KAFAS Multipurpose Hall separately where Col. Dr. Vincent Enemona Abu and Barr. Okeme Adejoh emerged from the Apapa and Abure factions respectively.

INEC published the name of Barr. Adejoh who emerged from the Abure faction as LP's Guber Candidate.

Bayelsa State wasn't any different as Chief Diekivie Ikiogha and the former IYC President, Udengs Eradiri held on to separate claims of been the Party flagbearer in the State.

Eradiri, who emerged from the Abure faction got the election umpire's nod as LP Candidate in the State.

With the publishing of particulars of Candidates yesterday, INEC has taken a position.

Today's court ruling was all about if the court have jurisdiction to listen & rule on political party's internal affairs,which the court ruled it have the jurisdiction to listen to it.

Supreme court had previously ruled that courts don't have the jurisdiction to rule on political party's affairs,so, why's a lower court claiming they now have the jurisdiction to rule on such matter ?

That's why the Labour party said ,in a press briefing after the court ruling,that they will appeal the matter.

The Lamidi Apapa sham video making round in another mischievous move by this moles to create a different narrative from today's court ruling.

Nowhere did the court the court made a ruling on who is the national chairman of the labour party,and as Abure himself said ,while briefing the press after the court session,that he remains the labour party chairman.

They know that they stand no chance in court if all evidences emerge against the election. That’s why they sent Babalowo to disrupt the Labour Party leadership and try to withdraw the case from court after Peter Obi refused to be bullied to withdraw the case from court.

But it’s funny because LP is just one petitioner in the case. Even if the idiot that calls himself Apapa succeeds in withdrawing LP from the petition, the case in court will still go on in Peter Obi’s name.
