@Rez thank you. do you have an idea what the pay is like? |
guess some of us have received the IV for test at BRistow Helicopters. could somone pls help as concerns what to expect at the test? |
from what i heard y'day, Apapa TS ended gracefully. i hope they call for resumption to Apapa soon. also, there is a second TS at kano which i guess will be open to hopefuls next wk or two. so hang on tight, as it will soon be your turn to be called. easy all. |
so long it's people prime, brothers and sisters, if you are going there to gatecrash, i advice you go with enough courage of disappointment as u may not be allowed to write the test. but all the same, i wish u all the best. |
@Godfather, CONGRATULATIONS! CONGRATULATIONS!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! I wish you the very best. @Babem, I will advice you to go to the 9th floor Human Resources of Virgin Nigeria Office at Don Etiebet place on Mobolaji Bank Anthony way at Ikeja to make more enquiries on why you have not heard from them after writing the test and passing the exam as you expect there should be another step in the recruitment process after writing the test. if you need some assistance, u could mail me at akmak101@yahoo.com and i will reply u almost immediately. wishing u the very best. @House, virgin Nigeria is not a bad place to start a career. |
VISIT http://www.virginnigeria.com/en/ng/careers.html wishing you all the best. |
@Tofunmmy, I am not a pastor but i pray that God will grant you your heart desires, u are a positive minded person. keep it up. @House, Do u remember what the word says about a double-minded person? I want to implore everyone to be optimistic because your time has not yet arrived does not mean it wouldn't. the race is not to the swift nor to him that willeth, but, u all know the rest. Wishing everyone the best. |
@Tofunmmy, good comment, we will all be called. so let's all keep being hopeful |
@House, u need to understand something about the way things work out in Nigeria and some other places of the world. if u have been to the UK, i think u will understand better what i am about to discuss here. do u know what discrimination means to a black man? yeah, my point is that this is the same thing that is going on here in Nigeria. In the UK, Britons discriminate blacks but here in our motherland can u imagine the height of discrimination? this is it. just imagine this, i wrote the test faithfully on the 1st of Dec last year, got a feed-back 1st week Feb that i passed and has thus qualified to move to the next round stage which is the interview, i didn't get the invitation for interview until i summoned the courage to go to the head office to let them know that some of us are disappointed in the way they conduct their recruiting exercise, because at that point, i was very bitter and thought i had nothing to lose. ever since after the medicals in April this year, i have not heard a thing from IBplc and that's the height of it. a friend that has someone at the helms of affairs at the bank did the test on the same day i did, has been to TS and now works @Ibadan. so what are we talking about? ain't that the height of discrimination? pls someone answer my questions. to make matters worse, i met an old school friend at the HQ the day i went in March, writing his test and a few days later, he got the IV to TS, AND MY POINT IS: *don't u ever wait doing nothing thinking IBplc has given a ticket to the movies, u will be disappointed, u dont get to watch the movies until u lay your hands on the ticket, i mean u get ur APPOINTMENT LETTER SO WHAT DO WE DO: *we keep sending out applications ( it is now a habit with me to browse daily at least 3hrs, developing myself while seeking other opportunities) *also think of what u can do, there is always a service that's lacking in ur immediate environment, provide it *float a discussion group with like minds on the way forward @House, hope to see u at the top. |
@Elon, what about the basic engineering aspect? |
i cant totally support Kemofash but i think there's a dint of truth in what she laid down. there's some internal crisis in IBplc but as at now, i dont have the full information. but we are all hopefuls so i guess the best thing to do is to remain hopeful, also, don't waste much time on waiting for IBplc as there are other options out there. a lot of companies and agencies are recruiting on a daily basis. keep sending out applications and the most important thing is to start somewhere and later on when IBplc calls, u can decide if u want to leave ur job for it or not. all the best house. |
@jaybee, thank you for ur post. sould u pls elaborate more on the engineering basics u mentioned. also, what's the timing like? is it a race against time or accuracy test or both. please shed more light. i studied chemical engineering, |
@ficasej, what time is ur test and what date? i also received invitation for the test. @House Nairalanders, Please help with the test format and what to expect. thank you. |
we are all expectant, i thought one of the Kano TS graduates would give us some gists on what to expect and the criteria for invitation to TS |
The time has come, the appointed time has come for all yea that waiteth upon the Lord. we'll all shout for joy, Trust in the LORD and lean not unto your own understanding. |
o boy, i had they have commenced training school for some engineers. |
Hi Mikiplus, dont take this personal but i believe that u had the opportunity of informing the house beforehand that a test would come up on that date since u had the information at hand and u were a major player in the recruitment exercise. all u did was to keep mute and then after the test u start hoo-la-baluing that u were the player in the exercise. so what's the point of ur sweet talks. there a lot of people out there wishing and hoping to be called to write a test but u didn't inform them only to post that u are done with the freshers. i think u can do better than that. are u trying to be a player or a blessing? from my point of view, i might be wrong but i think u wanted some credit for what u have not done and u are sure one of them. better change that part of u before it gets to you.wishing u all the best. |
@Ijaybaby, u mean they are still calling people to resume at the APAPA TS. tis been a week the school resumed, is it that they are trying to fill up the spaces of people that didn't show up or what? |
@solashong Congratulations on ur admission. pls i need to hear from u as i also applied for some engineering courses and i got a notification of admission that says all my applications have been deleted. i'll like to know if u have any idea as to what's responsible for that. thank you |
good work to ya all, i also went to Hq and was informed that they will reach out to us as when due. but i think it's better for IBplc to draw a schedule and make a plan for trainees in such a way that after writing the test, u are invited for interview and medicals based on performance and then concurrently scheduled for a resumption date at the training school. so that means u will know when u will be called to training scchool and not a situation of hoping and waiting. all the same, tis well. God's time is the best. wishing ya all the best. |
@uniportguy-samuel when did u call the hr an spoke with eniola. i seem to know the guy, let me hear from u @akmak101@yahoo.com |
let's look at this critically. all the banks have something peculiar to them. GTB- classy, innovative, good infotech Intercontinental- good network, good services Zenith- classy Diamond- we expect more but they are not acting upUBA- gone down the drain, the queue is disgusting mind u, they employ more of OND that can hardly speak the official English lang. very poor customer service. to be continued |
tis just the normal GRE test questions. |
hey, congrats on going through the interview stage. i am a kano hopeful and from the way they conducted the interview at kano, u go for the medicals immediately after the interview that's if u passed. but u can call the Apapa(the no that called u to invite u for the interview) HR to find out. Wishing u the very best. |
we really need somone to comment on this |

Bustabus that's a good one, just make sure u prepare for anything, all the best |
