Continue hearing from IPPIS director....on April salary!!!! To me,it's not what we hear that matters, it"s what they hear. By next week, MDAs will start receiving their May salary alerts. |
People still get more of authentic news here. I think quality should be preferred to quantity on any platform. |
It's true. Confirmed! |
Hope this is not an attempt by the government to start owing salaries..... 'work' for two or three months and get paid for one month! |
I think one of the best approaches for now is to engage the media. Journalists at the Covid-19 Presidential taskforce can help narrate our ordeals to the big bosses during the questions & answers segment. |
It's like this lockdown has affected this NL thread. The original topic has been quarantined. Hope things change for better... |
Pls add to the telegram 08034460713 Thanks |
What a country? Why should we be begging for payslips when IPPIS collected our emails: what stop them from mailing the payslips at same time they are posting the salaries.?The second anomaly I observed, why can't they provide us with phone number & email of IPPIS director? What's the big deal in that? I should be able to call/email him/her to ask for when they are paying my arrears if I were living in a sane society. |
Received this from a union leader in a Federal University: Dear esteemed members, Since we last communicated with you on our pay, we have carried on with our investigations through discreet IPPIS sources. The following represents the information we got for now, pertaining to February and March salaries: 1. Deductions for pension was 7.5% of gross pay as opposed to 7.5% of basic salary which used to obtain. 2. Union due was deducted for everybody and it was made 2% of gross pay, again as opposed to 2% of basic salary. 3. IPPIS taxes gross pay and uses real tax formula as opposed to negotiated tax we were paying before. 4. There now is a 2.5% compulsory deduction for National Housing Fund (NHF). It is a compulsory savings scheme introduced by the FG. 5. That we were paid what was called "peculiarity allowance" in February but that it has now been discovered that we were not entitled to it. This was stopped in March. And what was mistakenly paid to us in February was also deducted. Finally, and this will surprise everybody: information we got has it that the new minimum wage has been implemented, that it was what was used to pay us in Feb and March. Arrears have however not been paid. We have written to the IPPIS Director to demand for payslips (for clarifications) for the months of February and March, among others. Thank you all for your patience. |
I won't suggest creating or joining a group in which the identity of the admins can not be verified, at same time there is no mechanism by which the admins or anyone can know the identity of people joining the group. Are we all federal workers? Do we all have same objective? NL should be sufficient pending the time all these concerns are addressed. |

The update is they are still busy sharing money with the 'poor' in the society. |
The lockdown starts today. Scanning through the exemption list, IPPIS office Abuja is not among those rendering essential services. Hmmm! What is more essential at this time? Let's see how far by the end of today! |
I believe this is the time for the respective trade/labour unions to speak out, but it's seems they are not bothered. I think individuals making complaint is good, but not the best approach. quote author=Humblezick post=87926599] Wicked people. Thinking of lodging complain on their website (IPPIS).[/quote] |
Since it's becoming apparent that there is no palliatives for civil servants during this lockdown, they should pay salary now ooo. The human body can develop biochemical immunity against the virus & recover ....the only immunity it can develop against HUNGER is death.. |
