nice advice and encouragemnt but you have to know more to know what to advice. Does he hav access to sufficient resources to create a product with? He has a computer, whatabout electricity, internet? Money for marketing the product (marketing cost)? What kind of computer (ancient or modern)? Does he hav d stamina to create a product(working for months etc)? Home situation nko? Is your family supportive or anti? Is the house livable? Is pressure on him to strt chipping in to the bread winning? Basically,it still boils down to resources (money nd non monetary) nd how to procure them?

This is exactly why I am worried, I dont want to go to the police because the kidnappers warned me not too and they also said that information was provided by someone close to us so they'll know . We are just very confused right now.

A cousin of mine that visited us from the village was kidnapped yesterday and the kidnappers are asking for a fixed ransom of 4 million naira. He was kidnapped in his village home along with his two brothers, the two brothers have been released but they are holding him captive because they heard he just came back from abuja ( where I reside ) . I need help and advice because they are threatning to kill him if the money is not delivered by tomorrow.

PS. OUR ENTIRE EXTENDED FAMILY CAN NOT AFFORD EVEN TWO MILLION NAIRA AT THE MOMENT.

Do you run? I guarantee you that 30 to 45 minutes of running, jogging or even brisk walking 4days in a week eg Mon Wed Fri and Sat will lift your spirits after 4 weeks....straight 12 weeks you are on a runrush, like being addicted to a good thing...your spirits and confidence will increase and be reflected everywhere

Also I will give you an assignment-
Every night before you sleep, list 10 things for which you are happy (even if it is to say I am happy I have free air to breathe as an example). Every night....10, and day thank you God after the list. Coupled with running, in 12 weeks you will not even recognize yourself. This will make you look for things that make you happy and you dwell less on bad feelings/vibes/thoughts

Can you try and see a psychiatrist/clinical psychologist (try LASUTH/LUTH or any teaching hospital in your city if not Lagos as I assume? (they offer cheap but effective services)
Call this the hardest part of your 3 pronged approach to feel good

My point is, let your “drugs” be exercise and thankfulness...substances are dangerous and harm you invariably with time
