@Stagger. Thank you so much,I have seen the reply. |
@Stagger. Please I'm yet to get answers to my earlier questions, help me with answers please. Please I also want to ask these questions, even a good estimate will do; what is the price of a computerized dispenser and that of a manual?, what is the price of a 12000 litres tank?, Is it cheaper to buy from a private depot than buying from an independent marketer(who has not got a depot ofcourse) and what/where is the nearest private depot to Anambra state? Thank you so much. Regards, Malabeni. ebenigheikem@yahoo.com |
That is alright by me, I am expecting it tomorrow. Thanks for your prompt attention. Regards,Malabeni. |

Yap,Airtel really signed a great advert agency. Their recent jobs say it all. I forget to mention that the Camel Cigarette's ad is a foreign one, the US to be precise and it's a very old advert. |
Yes I also feel strongly about the advert. I love good adverts and it turns me on. That advert ought not connote any negative feeling and is really challenging as you rightly pointed out. It'll definitely rank among the best adverts in Nigeria considering the fact that our news media is always awash with poorly made adverts due to inadequate budget. However,an advert may be very well made, hitting the right market with the right message(atleast in the client's view,a message that improves their bottomline) and yet have social issues. Could you remember the MTN's "Na Boy" advert which attracted public rage, mainly from women and feminists? Camel Cigarette's advert of a smoking Camel which was condemned for targeting children also comes to mind. |
Honestly, there's nothing wrong with the advert or the message it sends across. Firstly,we should not forget the fact that for an Advert media to produce a good advert,it demands a lot of creativity and emotional intelligence. Besides, giving a condusive environment,29 years is rather late to be a millionaire(that is if a "Millionaire" is not used in the strict sense of the word or literally,a person with a million Pounds or Dollars). Also talking of linking internet speed with money, ofcourse yes. You can allocate the time you spend on the net to other rewarding things. Atleast, the last time I checked, the time honoured cliche,' "time is money" is still relevant. |
I didn't want to comment but I feel compelled to do so. God will even bless you for speaking up. Don't be in a hurry to apologise and make peace with her. We are all created in the image of God,it's only the bad economy that has made some people look at others as less human. As you try to make peace with her, stand your ground and make her understand that that househelp is also someone's "sweetpie",that if she can't bear his "stupidity" anymore, she should send him back home. From what you have narrated, you even need to watch out for signs of psychological trauma from her. |
Igbangedelegwu!. Ana m anu!. To say that Soludo is not an accademic giant would be a classical example of refusing to accord recognision to whom it is due but to also loose sight of the fact that Soludo is negligence personified would be ignorance in display and a public show of poor understanding of rudimental economics. Apart from educating our lawmakers on the natural, economics law of boom and burst(business cycle), did he also tell them that the activities of a negligent, and perhaps coniving regulatory govt. agencies ,like CBN and NSE(let's say maned by a mass of protoplasm of a woman) are enough to disrupt the normal economic cycle and bring an economy to its knees. We have not recovered from his negligence and that of that big mass of protoplasm called Onyiuke,so they should keep quiet. |
I'm begining to see sincerity on the part of Damola. He has done what any honourable business man does, offering refund in a veried case of dissatisfaction. @poster,heed to the advice of bigx, return the car and take back your money. I can see responsibility from both parties. @poster,please if you choose not to take the refund,do lay down your grudge and bicker no more. Good business reputation costs a fortune to build. Enough said. |
Dear Alhaji,I empathise with you. It's really pathetic, why must most people be this selfish and wicked in business. I run a private business, and I know that customers deserve respect and transparency so I get over the egde when I see people treat customers like trash in Nigeria.Your story has made me rescind an already taken decision to procure a car using this forum since it's in tandem with a friend's earlier warning concerning it. Please do seek redress if this auto seller has a traceable address.Regards |
Pls anyone advising the woman to take up martial arts lesson should thread cautiously and think twice because you may unknowingly be preparing another tragic news article for the NTA Newsline. Have you not heard the so common stories of Nigerians in the U.S. who resort to what could be termed a suicide mission, driving to the wife's office and shooting her to death for challenging his authourity/deflating his ego in the home because she thinks that the "insurance" of the American laisair-fair society covers her ?. If this could take place in a law abiding "yankee",imagine what it would be like in a lawless,African society like Nigeria. Enough said. |
@poster,my brother don't mind the confused people that criticise you. I have said it that anyone that attends those prosperity, billionaire pastors' church and yet is under the dazy blows of poverty should be made to receive enough flogging and dragged before a court of law for attempted sucide. |
There should be a marshal plan in place to curtail the excesses of the labour union, mainly the Medical union and ASUU. If not, one day, they may decide to threaten everybody with suffocation unless their self-serving demands are met. How many times has the medical union gone on strike over the poor equipment of our teaching hospitals if not to ask that one of them be made Minister of health or that more sub-headings be added to their list of allowances. Likewise ASUU. Politics is there for any of them who wants to join. Govt. should be able to make their pay attractive enough so that those who decide to embark on strike on flimsy excuses could be replaced with foreigners who're willing to work. |
@ Solex75,thanks man. God bless you. I'll appreciate more replies. |
Somebody,please say something. |
I want to buy a reg. Honda Cr-v but would want to have a good idea of how much should get it since I do n't want to be fleeced. A reg. Cr-v of '98 or '99 model which is less than four years used in Nigeria, still in good condition, auto drive,a/c and power steering. Pls give me an idea of the price range I should expect. Your kind reply would be appreciated. Please |
@Cashmentor. The real truth is that the stock exchange is a market for everybody but with different niches for different people. Don't make the mistake of going into a niche not meant for you. If you have not garnered experience in financial and fundamental analysis, please buy only stocks with strong fundamentals and preferably foreign management( this mitigates your risk exposure since our NSE is stil young and suffers systemic corruption) like NB and Nestle, steer cleer of penny stocks but if you can analyse well and probably get some insider info(not info from articles and hearsay), you are free to trade any stock including Onwuka-hi tech plc :-). I have been a stunch player and have had my share of losses, almost 500k,so I know what I'm talking about. Goodluck. |
I have a brother who came out with a 3rd Class in Accountancy. He's has never been a dull fellow, just a victim of ill health. The problem now is that,he has always wanted to be a lecturer. Due to his poor grade,he wants to do a PGD with his ultimate aim being getting a Phd to make it easier to realise his dream, becoming a lecturer in a University. However,he has this gnawing fear weighing him down from investing in such a dream. Would the 3rd class degree stil stand in his way and delay him from getting a lecturing job after a Phd? Please your advice is needed. Note:he does not plan to study outside Nigeria. |
