Even if Tinubu turns water to wine , at this point We really dont care. Release VDM. |
Onero2025:Hey wassup ? |
IF YOU LIKE TURN WATER TO WINE. FREE VDM. NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR COCOA BOARD. |
You can write a civil comment. No one will ban you. Read my previous posts, i was a staunch supporter of Bola Tinubu. Not everyone writing about the Nazification of Nigeria is an Obi supporter. |
The average man would not give his daughter's hand in marriage to a man who he hasn't verified, his parental background, nature, colleagues, habits etc. But Nigeria has handed the presidency to someone who no one knows his family house, no one knows where he was born. Not a single person has come forward as Tinubu's classmate in primary school or secondary school. Slowly as the mask slips........Even those of us that supported him initially are starting to see a side of him. Thats worse than the worst military regime we have ever had. |
Once hailed as a so-called democrat, Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidency has quickly devolved into an audacious, almost dystopian caricature of power consolidation and civilian tyranny. He emerged cloaked in the rhetoric of democratic struggle, branding himself a product of June 12 and the anti-Abacha resistance. But less than a year into his presidency, the mask has fallen—and behind it is not a statesman, but a master of opaque deception and ruthless autocracy. A REGIME WORSE THAN THE MILITARY? Let this settle for a moment: no military dictator—not Babangida, not even Abacha—delivered inflation, insecurity, and mass hunger on this scale in so short a time. Tinubu did it in under twelve months. The Naira has hemorrhaged value like a dying animal on the side of a highway. Fuel prices have skyrocketed, essential goods have disappeared into oblivion, and millions are slipping below the poverty line every quarter. His “subsidy removal” stunt was not reform—it was economic euthanasia disguised as fiscal discipline. While Nigerians trek and starve, Tinubu’s kitchen cabinet looks more like a family reunion than a federal government. His appointments reek of raw, shameless nepotism—Lagos cronies, party loyalists, inner-circle fixers. The worst part? Many of these names are recycled actors from his days as Lagos governor, where corruption was not a side dish, it was the full meal. THE GESTAPO POLICE – EFCC UNLEASHED The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has become a fascist tool of intimidation, no longer an agency of justice but an inquisition squad in fine suits. Under Tinubu, it selectively targets critics, opposition figures, and even old allies who dare ask questions. The rule of law has been replaced with the rule of vendetta. And who leads this silent terror? A greenhorn chairman, handpicked like a remote-controlled drone, void of institutional independence and functioning solely on signals from above. EFCC no longer knocks—it raids. No longer invites—it abducts. WHERE ARE THE RECORDS, MR. PRESIDENT? In any other democracy, the following would be disqualifying: No birth records, no classmates, no verifiable alma mater, and a mysterious name change somewhere between Chicago and Lagos. But in Nigeria, where obscurity is a political advantage, Bola Tinubu’s missing biography is treated like folklore, not the national security concern that it is. The man has governed the richest state in the country, captured the political machinery like a mafia boss, and now holds the presidency with the same mystery cloaking him like fog in a spy thriller. Nigerians still ask: Where was Tinubu really born? Who were his friends in secondary school? What’s his real name? Why does everything from his past read like the deleted scenes of a political noir? THE CORPSE OF DEMOCRACY IS STILL WARM Let us not forget: his former deputy governor, the calm and civil Kofo Bucknor-Akerele, once described Tinubu as “the most dangerous man I’ve ever worked with.” His political rival in Lagos, Funsho Williams, was murdered under mysterious circumstances—a political death still wrapped in silence and suspicious quiet. We are now under a presidency that borrows as if it’s free, spends without accountability, and silences dissent with an iron fist in a velvet glove. Nigeria is drowning in debt, sold to foreign lenders for short-term optics. This administration has auctioned off the national future for applause from IMF technocrats and foreign think tanks who don’t live in Yaba or Onitsha. FINAL QUESTION TO A NATION IN TRANCE: Do we even know who Bola Ahmed Tinubu is? Not his slogans. Not his campaign posters. Not the image conjured by media handlers. But the man. The one signing multi-billion-dollar loan deals with no clear repayment plan. The one centralizing security, suppressing dissent, and cloaking himself in “technocratic reforms” while Nigerians queue for bread in 2025. This is not a presidency. It is an occupation—of our minds, our money, and our collective memory. Tinubu has not just betrayed democracy. He has kidnapped it.

Seyi Tinubu is a 100% Daddy's boy. Whats he building when Asiwaju has already finished the building. |
The government would not set up a think thank to start de-bulking the administrative costs of government. They will wait till the prices gets to $45 dollars then they will pass on all the sufferings to ordinary Nigerians. Its time to cut costs across all tiers of government, to review the budget and drop costs that can wait till oil prices recover. |
"They are after my father, your fathers ad our fathers"

id4sho:Let me ask you a question, Gaza is fighting for autonomy and full independence from Israel. What are the Bandits in the Northwest fighting for ? What is it that if given they will no longer fight anymore ? |
Obiedun:No be only Seyi Tinubu....na Segun Tinubu. |
Everything looks clearer when you are looking at the rear view mirror. IBB swore he will hand over to Abacha after Orkar coup and he did. Buhari allied with Tinubu and he became president. There is no formula to this thing. GEJ was just a deputy governor and he became president without contesting any presidential election. These are things that are ordained to happen. You can hardly calculate your way to being the president. Only thing Atiku should have done is , he should have solidified his hold on the Northern political structure. |
If you make John Fashanu Nigeria's coach you might as well make Kemi Badenoch the next president. They never held their Naija card unapologetically, now that they are all used up and not wanted by England, they remember Naija. |
The EFCC is now a political tool enforcing digital gag orders, not fighting economic crimes. Nigeria’s Cyber crime Act is being twisted to criminalize free speech. The president should sack the EFCC chairman, Olukoyede, as he doesnt know the difference between financial crimes and Cyber stalking. This is gross over reach of power. This is the same man that could not arrest Yahya Bello who stole over 80 billion Naira. All these arrests will make it worse for your administration, we are in a digital era. The same way everyone is praising Ibrahim Traore. Mr President, Nigerians will vilify you all over the world. Some influencers have 10 million followers. It takes less than 24 hours to tarnish the image of your government. In Abacha era, we had to wait for the morning newspaper. Now its in real time. |
ednut1:Trump is an individual, there is a US congress which consists senators and house of reps. There is also the United Nation with multiple countries There is the International criminal court. We have only started. We have the email and addresses of all these people and places. We are not as helpless as you think. We will fight tyranny fire for fire. |
ElSudani:Since when did banks start arresting customers ? |
ednut1: Neo-colonialism is different. Abuse of power id Abuse of power. If we tell the world whats going on doesnt mean we are inviting colonization. They will go to UN meetings, they will borrow loans Some regimes dont deal with abusers of human rights, out of principle. If we call Tinubu's administration out.....He will also face roadblocks. We wont sit back and be manhandled by his Gestapo Police. Call it Neo-colonialism. Till someone dies in illegal custody. |
sreamsense:We will do it, I pray you are around to see it. Keep your delusional negativity to yourself. Thanks for the concern. |
Educationalserv: LOL |
Peace is the only way to fight a man that has nothing to lose. |
As the president and EFCC crackdown on Private citizens spending dollars in public functions. A Tinubu Senior special assistant was seen spraying the 100 Dollar bills to a local musician. Lets see how long it takes for the EFCC to arrest him and bring him into custody. Lets see if the rules apply to all Nigerians or a privileged few are exempt. sreamsense: We have chosen to stand up against tyranny, maladministration, looting, corruption, overreach of power. You should remain as subservient as you want to be, rob your children and grandchildren of a better Nigeria. We didn't get this far with your type, neither do we need you for the journey to making Nigeria great. Please don't let the door hit you on your way out. |
Sharpsharp00123:I am not Igbo, unfortunately. This your tribal attempt to justify mediocrity in government is very appalling. In case you dont know Omoyele Sowore fought and stopped cultism in University of Lagos. He was young, he was skinny and the cultists threatened to kill him, but he went against the most dreaded cults members and he won. Nigerian government has been fighting boko haram for over 20 years, we have spent over 10 billion dollars. And they have nothing to show for it, instead Boko Haram makes mockery of the government. Nobody is against Tinubu. But he has said he can do the Job. We are yet to see him actually do what he promised. I respect Sowore 1 million times more than Tinubu. If you care to know. |
cr7lomo:Thats the work of the EFCC but they are busy serving as Tinubu's Gestapo police. Going after unexplained wealth will solves more than 50% of Nigeria's problem, it will decrease kidnapping, armed robbers, politicians will not loot because their salaries wont justify their possessions and this will have a domino effect on cancelling looting and corruption. |
Stephen0mozzy: If you beat your wife like a madman everyday and you are at the point of killing her. As sovereign as your house and marriage might be. Your neighbors might have to intervene. The world is a global village. The world cannot keep giving Tinubu loans and accord him professional courtesy if he maltreats Nigerians. You don't really understand how it works. Nigerian citizens put together have more power than Bola Tinubu as the president of Nigeria. The world has changed. |
sreamsense: Thank you for commenting, your comments are appreciated. Please note, the greatest democracies in the world were built on defiance. |
Nigeria belongs to all of us, the earlier these politicians are called to order, the better they will start treating every citizen in the country. Nobody owns anybody, Bola Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu, Akapbio, Egbetokun all have 1 vote each. We need to nip this government terrorism in the bud.....we cannot be dealing with Boko haram terrorists and also be running from government terrorists. Tinubu should call his Nazi police to order....If not we will write to all newspapers in the world and tell them what we are really experiencing in Nigeria. If the government wants to play games with our fundamental human rights, we will show them we are the coach of that game. |
To the Honorable Ambassador of the United States in Nigeria, Richard M. Mills, Jr. U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria U.S. Embassy And Consulate. This letter is a passionate call from a concerned citizen and global observer, urgently requesting your intervention in what is rapidly descending into a dangerous pattern of repression, intimidation, and the systematic erosion of civil liberties in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Over the past months, there has been a disturbing escalation in the abuse of state power, most recently exemplified by the arrest and unlawful detention of the Nigerian social commentator known popularly as “Very Dark Man.” His only “crime” is holding the government accountable through civic engagement—a right enshrined in any functioning democracy and one that the Nigerian Constitution itself guarantees. It is with deep concern that I bring to your attention the alleged collusion between Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank)—a private sector institution, elements of the Nigerian Police Force and EFCC acting under what can only be described as a gestapo-like culture of political intimidation. Such weaponization of financial institutions and state security agencies to silence critics of government policy should raise alarms within every embassy and rights-centered organization operating in this region. Further compounding this abuse is the growing number of reports implicating the President’s son in the hiring of thugs to attack citizens who publicly criticize the administration. These events have been largely dismissed by state-sponsored media mouthpieces and government apologists as fabrications. However, the volume and consistency of these accounts are too grave and too numerous to ignore—especially for an administration only two years into its tenure. We Nigerians are no strangers to tyranny. We’ve bled for our freedoms. We’ve faced live rounds to protest corruption and maladministration, and we will do it again if it comes to that. But it should not come to that. Our request is simple, but urgent: • Immediate release of all political prisoners and unlawfully detained activists; • Termination of EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede, who has turned the commission into a political hit squad for the presidency; • An international human rights observatory team should be mobilized to independently investigate these growing abuses; • A formal warning or sanctions framework should be issued to the Nigerian government if these human rights violations continue unchecked. The Nigerian government must be reminded that dissent is not treason. A true democracy not only tolerates criticism—it thrives on it. The United States has long championed global human rights. If ever there was a time to demonstrate that commitment, it is now. Yours sincerely, Malali A Concerned Citizen of the Global Democratic Order Cc: • Amnesty International • Human Rights Watch • United Nations Human Rights Council • International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) • The Carter Center • African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights • Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) • European Union External Action Human Rights Office • International Criminal Court (ICC), The Hague • U.S. State Department Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor nlfpmod
