What car will you suggest for a first timer, budget between 3-4M.

As I first time car owner myself I asked several people who have decades of experience driving different brands of cars before I settled on a specific car to buy and I'll share with you the general response I got.

Toyota Vehicles are the best for Nigerian roads. Their ruggedity has no equal.
The repair/replacement parts are easily available.
Technicians(Mechanics) ALL (except a designated brand shop) specialise in servicing Toyota vehicles.
They have the highest resale value.
Recommendation:
Get a Toyota Corolla or a Yaris. Any year of your choice that falls into your price bracket.

Go with a good Mechanic to inspect ANY car you're interested in. Watch out for rusted parts, Engine that has been"handled", Compressor that has been reworked. Electrical faults and things like that.
Some cars look so perfect on the outside but have underlying problems that you can't tell until your daily commute.
MY ADVICE:
1. Your Mechanic should go with a Diagnostic machine to check for electrical faults you might not be able to see.
2. If the seller is willing (try to insist if it's a Nigeria used car) take it to a LACVIS Centre for a random inspection. They'll give you a report on the efficiency.

ALTERNATIVELY if you want to buy a brand new car, then look into Innoson, JAC or GAC that fall in your price range.
They have great after sales service.

PS: READ THROUGH OTHER RESPONSES TO COMPARE OPINIONS. DIFFERENT PEOPLE HAVE HAD DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES SO THEY MIGHT HAVE OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS...BUT IF YOU'RE CONFLICTED....BY A TOYOTA COROLLA

For a childhood rape and continuous molestation survivor that is still suffering from PTSD, there's hardly anything you can personally do for her other than being there for her emotionally. She needs to see a Therapist that specialises in helping Rape Victims overcome their trauma.

If the decision was made solely on religious beliefs then fine but if it was made based on her past sexual experience then you're starting marriage on shaky ground.

You listed a couple of Islamic countries and you're comparing them with states in a country that has an open religion policy. Rivers and Delta states are Christian dominated states but they still must adhere to Nigeria's constitution and it's FREEDOM OF RELIGION law.

Am in a depressed state and am so ashamed of myself. Currently schooling in a federal university studying computer sci. Seriously I feel really bad to have wasted 5 years without achieving nothing or a degree. Even spill over still wouldn't do no good cause I don't want a 3rd class degree or every worst. Right now i feel like an abomination and a disgrace to my family. Have tried visiting the HOD's in my school unfortunately, I was informed students from the same school can't switch to same school [Different department] i dont know why i think it's best known to them.

Mind you am in my mid 20s with no achievement or any money making skills.

I have interest in mastering programming or becoming a tech savvy guy or a security expert but i can't. aside the coding aspect physiologically am not balance. Secondly, am limited.. Am very ambitious i need help and opportunities. Am tried of fighting alone/ holding back its eating me up silently... I only smile or engage myself in a social gathering to cover up my pain.

Even if am to start all over again I'll prefer a university that offer a 4 years course I don't know which Federal university one can study comp sci within 4 years.

Please I need advice and help The truth is school is frustrating and tiring.. I need a degree my battle can't be in vain.

I know someone would have pass through my line of sorrow or even worst. Your suggestions, opportunities and help will revive me back...

You've had your challenges
Finish with the 3rd Class. Graduate and go for International Certification Courses with Cisco, Oracle, Python and Java. When you're done, you'll be of more value than the 1st Class or 2nd Class holders in the IT World. Having a B.Sc only gets you so far, what else will you offer your employers.
Only Nigeria places so much importance on B.Sc grades (that aren't even up to standard abroad).

Thou what happens in most of the immigration offices is abnormal it is wise to go to a state with less population, thou you might pay 30k but you are likely to get your passport in a day.

Exactly. Someone claimed to have paid close to ₦40k for the 32pages booklet in Lagos. I did mine in Ilorin for ₦18k and got it the next day. In fact, if you get to the passport office and are able to pay before 10am when they have to make bank deposits, you'll get it that same day (except on a Friday).
