gratieao:You need .... or We need ... What do you mean "we?" Count me out of your campaign of calumny. |
Serves the Tanoids right. |
Unfortunately for the other side, they are childish! Thank God we are not TANoids. |
Which certificate was forged? |
NairalandOP:I am questioning your motive of opening the thread, which is nothing other than to mislead. The first paragraph of any news captures the main points of whatever the person being interviewed surmised. Here's the whole news. Read with an open mind and tell me what Buhari is trying to say. And also, I challenge you to tell me what is Obasanjo's view on this issue. | Presidential candidate for the Congress for Progressive Change in the 2011 Presidential election, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has frowned on the emergency rule in parts of the North. He alleged that innocent civilians were being killed in the states. Buhari speaking during a Liberty FM Hausa Service Programme, Guest of the Week, on Sunday in Kaduna said that Boko Haram members were being killed and their houses demolished unlike the “special treatment” given to the Niger Delta militants by the Federal Government Buhari, who also blamed President Goodluck Jonathan for failing to tackle the security problems in the country, argued that the challenges started in the Niger Delta. He said, “What is responsible for the security situation in the country is caused by the activities of Niger Delta militants. “Every Nigerian that is familiar with happenings knows this. The Niger Delta militants started it all. What happened is that the governors of the Niger Delta at that time wanted to win their elections, so they recruited youths and gave guns and bullets to them to use against their opponents to win elections by force. “After the elections, they asked the boys to return the guns, and the boys refused to do so. Because of that the allowance that was being given to them by the governors was stopped.” Buhari said his joining the proposed All Progressives Congress was not all about securing the party presidential ticket for the 2015 elections. According to him, the formation of the APC and his joining the group is to help effect the needed change in the polity and not just about his presidential ambition. He declared, “If APC fails to give me the ticket, I will remain in partisan politics and in the party. Anyone the party picks as its candidate, I will support him because I will remain in the APC.” Besides, Buhari noted that the problem of the country was that of bad leadership, which the APC was out to change. | http://www.punchng.com/news/joining-apc-not-about-2015-presidency-buhari/ |
NairalandOP:Your motive for opening this thread is questionable. So, whatever is said will be twisted. |
At a certain time, they too were not attacking civilians. And the general concern of Buhari then was the civilian casualties being recorded. |
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said yesterday that the failure of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari to submit his academic qualifications to the commission will not cause any alarm to the candidate. INEC had on Monday displayed the presidential and National Assembly aspirants as nominated by their parties, where Buhari’s academic qualifications could not be spotted alongside other flag-bearers. The APC presidential candidate however stated in an affidavit that “I am the above-named person and deponent to this affidavit therein. All my academic qualifications documents as filled in my presidential form, President APC/001/2015, are currently with the Secretary, Military Board as of the time of presenting this affidavit...” But in an interview with some journalists yesterday, spokesperson of the INEC chairman, Kayode Idowu said the electoral body had no power to screen candidate’s qualifications, as it remains their parties’ duties. “When parties file their nominees, the law requires that INEC should display those nominees for claims and objections. If objections are made to those claims, the commission reverts back to the political parties because the statutory mandate is on the parties to nominate their candidates and not to allow INEC to choose their candidates for them,” he said. “It is their job, they sort it out before they bring their nominee to the commission. So, the commission has no role in disqualifying candidates,” Idowu said. Asked on the specific case of Buhari’s certificates issues, the spokesperson insisted not to speak about individual candidate but on general requirement contained in the process. | http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/daily/news/43292-inec-we-ve-no-case-with-buhari-over-certificates |
Collynzo9:Serves you right. You're here arguing over issues you don't know anything about. Meanwhile another headline says: | INEC: We‘ve No Case With Buhari Over Certificates http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/daily/news/43292-inec-we-ve-no-case-with-buhari-over-certificates |
barcanista:Barcanista, it's not about freedom of movement or right to associate. Look at it this way: Whatever Sule Lamido is trying to do here is what the drivers are trying to do at their level. | “I have not received any formal letter that I am the North-west zonal campaign coordinator for Jonathan/Sambo 2015. I just saw my name in the newspaper just like you saw it. Nobody contacted me. Nobody spoke to me. As far as I am concerned, I know nothing about it”. – Sule Lamido |
orimsamsam:Honestly! It's sickening. |
gunuvi:Whatever! |
rhymz:"If" Can that be tendered as an evidence? |
orimsamsam:They'll soon get to that. Haven't you heard a certain minister blaming the traffic situation in Lagos on Buhari. |
WhiteTechnology:What details do you have regarding this issue as to classify it as such? |
WhiteTechnology:What is corruption? |
iluvpomo:But why should the other person wish death to others. |
Collynzo22:Collynzo, tell me: Is there any one good thing about Buhari? |
FrankC3:You want him to impose himself so that you accuse him of dictatorial tendencies. You people accuse him of being undemocratic, and now that he's playing by the rules you're again accusing him of being a lackey. |
FrankC3:It is an option. It is within the powers of a president to pursue policies that will bring unity, peace and progress. |
ochejoseph:How can you not understand the Maths? You started your beats you must also finish the dancing! |
LRNZH:We've been truly pulverized. The thing is just beyond our imaginations. Million naira it's imaginable, but when you begin to talk of billions and in dollars, that's a black hole! |
natureblack:That Sule Lamido has no problem with Buhari. He has the northern masses to contend with. |
mikeansy:Good day Sir. It's not about Hausa-Fulani saying whatever about his brothers. Sule Lamido has long seen Buhari as impediment to his political ambitions in the North. Go back, even before now. He hardly gives an interview without Buhari featuring. |
A fake twitter account by a certain Ima Sadiq, tweeting @imamsadiq123 has surfaced to discredit the Presidential candidacy of General Muhammadu Buhari of the opposition AllbProgressive Congress. The account which was started on Friday and has some 51 followers is posing as a Buhari supporting Islamic cleric, suggesting that Buhari’s singular mission in Aso Rock is to entrench the Shariah law. Already vigilant social media users have rubbished the twitter account as an attempt to discredit Buhari’s candidacy by echoing the propaganda that have been used over the years to portray Buhari as a religious fanatic. | http://saharareporters.com/2014/12/29/fake-twitter-account-discredit-buhari-surfaces-sunday-trust |
Ima Sadiq is an impostor. People who investigated the claims found out he is a gay Imam in the US. |
jamace:So tendering a legal document is not due process. Show us where the law is broken. |
BISIXCLUSIVE:You are mixing the two. An affidavit is sworn by those who've had what's required and are therefore qualified. It is not equal to or a replacement of your credentials. It is just a legal document presented testifying that you've had those qualifications but for some reasons ate not available. You'd have a point if you'd shown us where the law is broken. |
natureblack: |
babestella: |
Nctrice:Mr you don't have any detail as to continue with this argument. You just have an interest whose motive is very clear to discerning minds. Just tell us what you want him (I mean the name of the certificates) to present. |
