Ours is to look unto God. He'll definitely avenge for all those innocent people, displaced and killed. |
"Regarding General Ihejirika, I have my own theories regarding how he may have come under Stephen Davis’ searchlight in the first place, ending up on his list of the inculpated. All I shall propose at this stage is that an international panel be set up to examine all allegations, irrespective of status or office of any accused." // "Well, while awaiting the Chibok girls, and in that very connection, there is at least an individual whom the nation needs to bring back, and urgently. His name is Stephen Davis, the erstwhile negotiator in the oft aborted efforts to actually bring back the girls. Nigeria needs him back – no, not back to the physical nation space itself, but to a Nigerian induced forum, convoked anywhere that will guarantee his safety and can bring others to join him." // "I know Stephen Davis, I worked in the background with him during efforts to resolve the insurrection in the Delta region under President Shehu Yar’Adua. I have not been involved in his recent labours for a number of reasons. The most basic is that my threshold for confronting evil across a table is not as high as his - thanks, perhaps, to his priestly calling." // "I am therefore compelled to warn that anything that Stephen Davis claims to have uncovered cannot be dismissed out of hand. It cannot be wished away by foul-mouthed abuse and cheap attempts to impugn his integrity – that is an absolute waste of time and effort. Of the complicity of ex-Governor Sheriff in the parturition of Boko Haram, I have no doubt whatsoever, and I believe that the evidence is overwhelming. Femi Falana can safely assume that he has my full backing – and that of a number of civic organizations - if he is compelled to go ahead and invoke the legal recourses available to him to force Sheriff’s prosecution. The evidence in possession of Security Agencies - plus a number of diplomats in Nigeria - is overwhelming, and all that is left is to let the man face criminal persecution. It is certain he will also take many others down with him." // Read full article here: http://saharareporters.com/2014/09/13/bringbackjonathan2015-wages-impunity-wole-soyinka |
He can predict anything under the sun but couldn't see a dangerous structural defect (crack) in his buildings. |
It's time they rename this place. |
enigmaotr: Importation things nahThis then will be the greatest congregation of Anambrarians in human history! |
Where are they going to get these numbers? All the towns, suburbs, villages, hamlets and bukas in all of Anambra can only boast of 4.1 million people. |
atlwireles: Nah you get this moniker. Them ban your other one bah?I've never been banned. The crash was a blessing in disguise. More time to do something else. Good night. |
atlwireles:Welcome, government pikin. You were late today, and I am going bed. When you take enough briefs we'll meet morrow. |
shizzleStar: what magnitude? an accusation that is baseless, dumbfounded and unverifiable? Besides Ihejirika has been absolved of any involvement by the DSS. I ask you again, do you take court action against him when he is non-Nigerian nor lives in Nigeria?, and in which court?- Nigerian or Australian?.My friend, we're dancing in circles. I am convinced you wouldnt take it lightly if you were in his shoe. When Sheriff made noise, the man said 'come to Australia, you'll get justice.' For Ihejirika to be associated with such and to not even threaten the man is surprising. My conclusions are: He's either recovering from the shock of the accusation if it's untrue or he is being cool to save his skin. || Let me end it this way. There's more to this wahala for me to be conclusive about anything. The more one drags this, the more confused one gets. This I admit with all sincerity. My only prayer is that may God punish the guilty and protect the innocent. Shalom! |
shizzleStar: You need to understand why we keep saying the Aussie should not be taken seriously, he claimed he was told by boko haram commanders. Can you see? and the other 2 persons (CBN staff) he didn't even mention their names, how can you take such a joker seriously? and then just over the weekend he said opposition were responsible, he is just a clown. IMO, he is best ignoredBut honestly, would "YOU" ignore such if you were a man of Ihejirika's standing? I wouldn't. It's like you guys don't seem to be aware of the magnitude of this accusation. |
shizzleStar: Being open minded as regards the excerpt you provided as it relates to ihejirika is a no brainer. The allegation against him is senseless, without basis, has no iota of truth and lacks substance. And as a matter of fact, will not be taken seriously by any sane and objective mind with a true knowledge of the Nigerian societyBut honestly what is Ihejika doing to convince you and me of his innocence. At least the accusations have been made, and if you or I were accused as such the Australian would regret being born. I and you would definitely make sure he spends the rest of his days behind bars - if the allegations were false. Ihejirika's defence to say the least lacks substance. He should show the dude that he's a GENERAL - a man trained in the Art of War. Why is he soft on somebody out to finish him? This is not understandable. |
gratiaeo: You are a BH memberSo says an illiterate who has sold his soul to the devil. If your life is measured by your nairaland contribution, you sure are an unhappy, jobless man who does not know where he is, and whose existence consists of eating, sleeping, and dying. Waste of time and space, contributing nothing to national development and humanity. |
shizzleStar: Keep your quote to yourself, i am a rational being and so i learnt how to detach emotion and sentiment from reasoning. I don't have to listen to any author cos i am an author myself, so you rather should listen to me.All this shows how limited you are in the ways of the world. A truly learned person doesn't have a closed mind and is no more surprised by ANYTHING under the sun. |
shizzleStar: Yes, he is our hero, that's how much we love him. And why would he attach importance to Davies by mentioning him, what business does he have with the Aussie? a hungry, ignorant, white man looking for relevance. Ihejirika does not need to mention him in order not to accord him further prominence. This is an excerpt from the book below. Do you agree with the author or are you still listening to yourself? || When we are wrongfully accused, only a guilty person gets defensive. Someone who is innocent will usually go on the offensive. • He is reluctant to face his accuser and may turn his head or shift his body away. • The person who is lying will probably slouch; he is unlikely to stand tall with his arms out or outstretched. • There’s movement away from his accuser, possibly in the direction of the exit. • There will be little or no physical contact during his attempt to convince you. • He will not point his finger at the person he is trying to convince. • He may place physical objects (pillow, drinking glass, et cetera) between himself and his accuser to form a barrier, with a verbal equivalent of “I don’t want to talk about it,” indicating deception or covert intention.

Afroconnect: Guy what re u saying where do you know Davies from for you to credit him with so much repute? He has no repute only as it relates to your interests. |
shizzleStar: listen stop tearing yourself apart over nothing. You are you and I am me and you can NEVER be me, the DSS in its wisdom has said Ihejirika has no case to answer. Does it make sense to you that a man who brought the boko haram menace to the bearest minimum will be a sponsor? Your people in the north are the murderers, go and call them to order or better still wait a little, in no distant time, the FG is gonna wipe them, the best you can do is supprt the FG in the fight against terrorismYou and your hero couldn't address your concerns to the right quarters. Looks like you're afraid of the accuser. Your hero hadn't mentioned Davis name in all his response. Why? |
Collynzo16: We will side Ihejirika because the allegation against him is absolutely baseless and childish. There are Igbos who have lost family members in suicide bombings, who lost their sources of livelihood in the north and had to start all over again, those Igbos will never support a sponsor of boko haram. Until he is proven guilty, we will all remain solidly behind him as someone who served Nigeria very well.Classic! Anything different will be abnormal!! |
shizzleStar: bla...bla...look who is talking about bigotry, and did i hear you say disown? the way you disowned the former pension boss who made a mattrass with dollar$ in his house , isnt it?Whose fault is it if the authorities refused to prosecute anybody? Pls know the difference between you and me. A day will never come when I'll side with murderers, or jump into defense in cased that are not exhausted. |
gratiaeo: Northerners are both Boko Haram and sponsor. They should continue killing themselves.Any psychologist knows for sure you ain't a happy man" |
shizzleStar: who cares what he says? the attempt of you lots from arewa to rope in Ifejirika in your madness will never succedI've resolved not to worry myself so much about bigots who defend based on tribe. Who cares about Ihejirika but you lot. If a man of Davis' repute had mentioned ANY northerner, let me assure you we'll disown him 100% and assist in him being roasted. |
brownlord: Lol, you sabi themWhat do you expect from a Biafranist who once said he was happy about the killings going on in the north? |
omenka: Oga, do you handle evening classes for children discovered by Mungo Park or not??Chief, this dude has been teaching our children that Mungo Park discovered River Niger. Pls, help us ask him: What about the natives that have been swimming in the Niger for centuries? |
idumuose: MalcomX the coward.See how desperate you could be.Did i visit your thread yesterday? The answer is no. I opened a thread and here you are seeking attention. How am i sure you were not one of those fake election observers arrested in Imo state?idumuose, is it true that in 1806 Mungo Park deliberately capsized his boat at Bussa (present day Nigeria),so that the Queen would make him a knight? |
NgeneUkwenu: Have you saved the pictures of the drunkard? It is on display again!I think this one stays. Even Ngwakwe is tired of helping him. |
omenka: Whoooo! Didn't know I was missing a party here!! Thanx for calling me out MalcolmX!He he, pity bro! If he could associate with you, Gbawes and egifts of this world, maybe the mud-house thinking and analysis will be replaced with development and humanistic ideologies, and he could at least help himself and at most his village. |
We pitied you when upon 500GP's expositions, omenka it was, I think who created the mudhouse theory, not knowing you're resting to resurface. |
idumuose is still teaching our children that Mungo Park discovered River Niger! |
Pataki: Another bigot of a mod has moved the thread from the Politics board to the General section. That means Ngw.... is still a Mod. |
gramci: The dude is making you sweatNo way buddy. Can't you see he's taken a run. |
FreeGlobe: when yorubas begin to attack you, you are hitting them where it pains and doing something right. Thumbs up idumuoseWhen Yoruba and Igbo and Hausa begin to attack you , you sure are off the mark, and doing something wrong. |
gramci: God bless IdumuoseWith all these missiles that the dude is no more able to parry, nobody wants to be in his shoes. We need to put him in that car for you and him to know what is meant by 'stage-managed.' |

! Why isn't this delicious meal already on every national daily even though the minority leader of the Senate is from the state?
