balanceofterror1: You are a COMPOUND idiot to reason this way. No wonder your useless mother abandoned you in the gutter after vomiting you out FOOL.
All the people your Fulani brothers killed in Enugwu who was behind it?. This is crazy thinking. All rational people know the limit of their power. That's why there are lots of questions on this 'herdsmen' issue. How could Fulani move all the way to Enugu and start killing Enugu people? Can Nnamdi KANU come to Kano and do all that his useless he's doing? Answer me honestly. |

Five years back people were carrying and having their transactions in raw cash. And by the way, have you not seen the IGR generated by regions as posted by DeLeo? |

Politics › Re: Etisalat Destroyed Itself By Choosing Buhari Over Jonathan – Reno Omokri by MalcoImX: 11:54pm On Jun 21, 2017 |
madridsta007: Making your government "accountable", is mutually exclusive from being Christian or Muslim or Sikh; it is a duty by citizens in a democracy. I understand if this is strange within the Nigerian context, but as Nigeria practices democracy, it is important that we start to really learn the tenets of democracy and treat them with logic rather than emotions. Martin Luther King who literally gave the American government of President Lyndon Johnson "hell", was a pastor, fondly remembered by Christians. Should we also de-Christianise him? Who would you rather learn from - Martin Luther or Omokri? Martin Luther's criticisms with all sincerity is from the heart, and is therefore intended for correction. But Reno's blaming Buhari for a company that was mismanaged by its directors is nothing but mischievous and is meant to denigrate. Reno has no relevance without Buhari. You may not know, he rose to prominence on account of his criticisms of Buhari, and unfortunately Buhari unmade him. Look at his line of argument: Etisalat failed because they supported Buhari instead of Jonathan. So by extension, any company that fails are supporters of Buhari and those who succeed are with Jonathan. It is also a disservice to all of humanity for you to have likened what Omokri was doing to Martin Luther's. King's actions sprung from a moral high ground while Omokri is a known mercenary propagandist. |
Politics › Re: Etisalat Destroyed Itself By Choosing Buhari Over Jonathan – Reno Omokri by MalcoImX: 4:41pm On Jun 21, 2017 |
madridsta007: Not sure which part of Reno's statement is "hate". We've used and overused certain phrases in Nigeria that the true meaning is lost. I'm sure you do not know the meaning of "hate." Granted, Reno could have backed his assertion with some facts but this isn't simply not hate. Of course, Buhari's terrible economic management has sunk many companies to their knees, but I'm unsure as to how Etisalat supported APC. The dude's not a Christian. He has a hate of Buhari written all over him. |

SalamRushdie: Kanu is another creation of the myopic thought process of a dull Buhari ..Buhari played into his hands the day Kanu intentionally jumped on a plane to come to Nigeria withe the expectation and hope that Buhari will arrest and the dull Buhari indeed arrested him thereby setting the motion for Kanu to be become a demagogue (any student of history will know that one the tinders for becoming a demagogue is incarceration e.g Hitler and Mandela ) but Buhari being the dullard he is fell for that.....A smart leader would have ignored Kanu on that trip and even pumped govt funds through covert means to them and watch greed disintegrate Kanu naturally.....Buhari is a very myopic man that has no business being a leader and that why we are in this level of economic mess right now ...It's too late to fight Kanu now because he has achieved Demagogue status and power must must be shared with him smartly and carefully for peace to reign No way bro. KANU had wanted to breach Nigeria's security, go back and brag about it at his Radio Biafra. It would have been worse for Nigeria if he'd executed his plans. He'd have ridiculed us to heavens. It's better for Nigeria that he's here. At least his utterances will be measured. He wouldn't be calling for genocide against Nigerians, like he was doing while abroad. |

islandmoon: At the start of the 19th century Ilorin was a border town in the northeast of the Oyo Empire, with a mainly Yoruba population but with many Hausa and Fulani immigrants. It was the headquarters of an Oyo General, Afonja, who rebelled against the empire and helped bring about its collapse with the assistance of the Fulani.[1] The rebellion was powered by Nupe and Bornu Moslem slaves.[2] Afonja had been assisted by Salih Janta, also called Shehu Alimi, a leader of the local Fulani. In 1824 Afonja was assassinated and Alimi's son Abdusalami became Emir.[3] Ilorin became an emirate of the Sokoto Caliphate.
now they want to teach my children Arabic by force, why is Arabic standing alone as a subject?
why not make it possible for a student to choose between English, Arabic and French? Afonja too was a migrant to Ilorin. So, what point are you trying to make? |
