justwise:

TB test is not included in that N86k and i'm not sure if there is a waiver for kids as i don't done such before.

Hopefully some people here who have done it will give you more accurate answer.

I applied for myself, my wife and my four months baby. I used paga to pay so the cost for application was N92,220 each.

For the TB test however, there is a discount for children under 11. Adults pay about 22,500 while children pay about N8,000. Please send a mail to either IOM Lagos or Abuja and you will get a response.

Please does any one have a contact email for teleperformance?

How is it possible for one to track his/her application now that they are upgrading their website?

Please is there anyone that has received a visa approval email since Friday. I submitted my application on the 17th. My programme starts on October 1, 2014.

Please is there anyone who submitted at VI on 17th that has received visa?

Please is there anyone from Teleperformance VI who submitted last week that has received an approval response?

We are reading about visa approvals under four working days from Ikeja. Any news from Teleperformance VI today?

FamousT: For those of you wondering how Abuja Visa Centre is working since Teleperformance took over,

I applied on Monday 15th September. Got my approval on Monday, 22nd September. Then was told that my passport is ready for collection today 25th September.

Total time- 9 working days.

Hope this helps someone.

Congratulations FamousT!

Please where was you visa approved from? Abuja, Lagos or Sheffield. The visa sticker will show that bit of information.

IyawoToBe: Ok. I will do that. But were you charged extra? Myself and hubby are applying for a 2year multiple entry. It states $513 on the website. Don't know if paga will be charging extra. The visa fee is expensive enough as it is cheesy

Iyawo to be,

When I paid for tier 4 visa for my wife, son and I, I paid N92,220 each via paga for $530. You can do the arithmetic yourself. There's no other fee to be paid.

Please is there anyone in the house who submitted via Teleperformance in VI? Any news from there today?

IyawoToBe: Pls guys, how did you make the online payment for your visa? What kind of card did you use and what bank? I have been having difficulty paying.

Iyawotobe,

I had the same issues too. Please check your account too and find out whether you have not already been debited.

Create a paga account. Google paga and register. Transfer the money to your paga account and pay through paga. That was what I did.

I can confirm that paga is reliable.

tewguy: Thank God. I collected my visa today. I applied 01/09/14. Didn't get any mails from TP. Went there today by faith. collected around 3:30pm.thank you all for your comments here.it really helped out.wish all those that are yet to collect all the best!

Congratulations.

Oga @Justwise I'll need you input here as well as the input of others.

I put in application for my family and I (wife and son) on September 17, 2014 at the TP center in Victoria Island, Lagos. Unfortunately I could not pay for return by courier in the center as my master card was blocked. Is it possible to still pay for courier delivery after attending the interview?

Before now a lot of persons have complained about the delay experienced by those who used Teleperformance. It seems this is no longer the case. I can read about those who have started collecting their passports/visas in good time. For someone who submitted on the 17th of September, 2014 and got an email from UKVI stating that application has been received, how long should one be looking at for a decision to be made?

My wife and I applied for a visit visa last December and received our passport back within 11 consecutive days via courier.

I am going for a PhD. My school starts on October 1st.
Agriculture / Re: Did U Think Agriculture Deserves D 5years Degree Programme???? by MallamYahaya(m): 5:49am On Aug 11, 2014
neyur: Have'nt been through ds discipline for complete five years,i came 2 realised agriculture does not worth d five years programm...supose d courses under d faculty of agriculture ar splitted just like everyother courses in science zone i tink d work load will b reduce n does 1 will not end up been jack of trade n master of none...imgine wen u said ur studying science..it asumed u r studying physcis, chemistry, biology, mathematics, geography n the agriculture itself...bt dis is not so, cuz every course were split n thus ds reduce d work load on d student under ds faculty....so if thesame method is applied 2 agriculture,i tink d students will also find it more easier n intresting in d field...imagine u studying agriculture, along side u will b given many course with subordinate like soil science, animal science, crop science, fishery forestry and many other which i cld not mentioned.all ds ar time consuming...in view of these ar xpress ma opinion, i wouldnt know if agreed or disagreed with my story....bt let hear from you,did u tink d five years programme worth it or not

[quote author=Nnamdipaul]Governor Rotimi Amaechi is working...

What's your view??[/quote

I am one of the ardent supporters of Governor Rotimi Amaechi. If he contests for President in 2015 my family and I will vote for him. I like him for his fearlessness and his determination to give Rivers people the best. He has done roads, health care centers and schools that are the envy of other Governors.

However, this mono rail project is a mistake taken too far. Who would want to use the monorail when it takes you to nowhere in particular? This is a big waste. This monorail thing is Amaechi's worst decision as a governor. Even worse than his decision toleave the PDP.
