Ever since I was a little girl, I have never had a relationship with my mother. She never taught me little things like how to put on a bra. But Instead I had to rely on my aunt to teach me "girl" things. My mother was never home, she was always going out with this older man who happens to be her friend.

So I was usually home with my older brother who would find a reason to beat I and my younger brother to a pulp. My mother would usually treat my younger brother better than I.

Up until this very moment, I and my my mother's relationship has been nothing more than dysfunctional. I yearn everyday for a loving and close bond with the very person that gave me life but to no avail. I have tried everything to make it work but she just happens is not interested to be close to me.

In other words, he didn't want to apologize for hanging up on me and everything. But after I sent him the final text cursing him out about how he wasted my time and everything, he apologized to me and even went ahead to call me on different occasions to tell me how sorry he was.
