OPNION ON UPCOMING ARAFAT DAY WHICH
WILL COINCIDENCE YAOMUL JUMA'AT
Knowinly, we muslims were forbade to fast on
some days, most especialy Yaomu Sabt and
Juma't, but if were to fast on these days we
were ordained to fast by this Hadith
" ﺩﺧﻞ ﺍﻟﻨﺒﻲ "ﺹ" ﻋﻠﻰ ﺟﻮﻳﺮﻳﺔ ﻭﻫﻲ ﺻﺎﺋﻤﺔ ﻓﻰ ﻳﻮﻡ
,ﺔﻌﻤﺠﻟﺍ ﻓﻘﺎﻝ ﺃﺻﻤﺘﻰ ,ﺲﻣﺃ ﻗﺎﻟﺖ ,ﺎﻟ ﻗﺎﻝ ﺗﺮﻳﺪﻳﻦ
,ﺍﺪﻏ ﻗﺎﻟﺖ ﻟﺎ ﻓﻘﺎﻝ .ﻱﺮﻂﻓﺄﻓ ﺭﻭﺍﻩ ﺍﻟﺒﺨﺎﺭﻯ .
Translation
Prophet M uhammad enterd the house of
Juwairiyat while she was fasting on friday, the
prophet asked, did u fast yesterday?,
she said: No
the prophet asked again, did you want to fast
tomorrow?
she replied: No
and the said: break your fasting.
Inshallah, the Arafat of this year shall be on
friday, and the questions that should come to
our mind are;
Are we going to fast because of friday
or
how should we not fast because of blessing
and rewards of Arafat day.
l shall explicit these on what i derived from
Sheik Albany frm his ,ﻓﺘﺎﻭﻯ and Sheik ibn
Qayin ) ﺯﺍﺩ ﺍﻟﻤﻌﺎﺩ ‏(ﺭﺣﻤﻬﻤﺎ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ respectively.

Breaking on friday is forbiddance (ﺮﻇﺎﺣ)
while fasting on Arafat is permissive (ﺢﻴﺒﻣ)
in this case, we will preceed forbiddance over
permissive ( ﻧﻘﺪﻡﺍﻟﺤﺎﻇﺮ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻤﺒﻴﺢ
this basis stated that, we should not fast on
friday.
ﻗﺎﻝ :ﻝﻮﺳﺮﻟﺍ ﻣﻦ ﺗﺮﻙ ﺷﻴﺊﺍ ﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻮﺿﻪ ﺧﻴﺮﺍ ﻣﻨﻪ
whoever leaves anything for the sake of Allah,
He will subtitute for him better thng rather
than that.
Ibn Qayim:
most scholars belived that Yaomul Jumuat is
better than Arafat with Hadth reported by
Imam Ahamod that friday is superior to
Laylatul Qadr. the truth is that friday is better
day of all days in all weeks and Arafat is the
best day of all day in all year.
therefore, both Arafat and JUmuat are
festivals days, those who were at Arafat were
adviced not fast, and those a home were
forbade to fast on friday.
ﻗﻠﺖ : ﻫﺬﺍ ﻓﻀﻞ ﻣﻦ ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻟﺄﻥ ﺍﻟﺜﻠﺎﺛﺔ ﺍﻟﺎﻋﻴﺎﺩ ﺍﺗﻔﻘﺖ
ﻓﻰ ﻳﻮﻣﻴﻦ ‏( ﺍﻟﺠﻤﻌﺔ,ﺍﻟﻌﺮﻓﺔ,ﺍﻟﺄﺻﺤﻰ )
