Hello,
I need to get $575 transferred to me in the US and ASAP. If possible i wanna get it within this 24hrs (So probably nothing e-currency, cause those sort of all take a while to cash out anyway). Also since it's the weekend already im sure that narrows down my options even more, but hopefully there's still someone who can help out here. |

You know personally the way i see it most people that would vote for APC from the SS/SE aren't gonna do that because of a VP from their region but because they genuinely want change so why try to give them a VP from their region when they already have a President If they wanted to vote based on their tribes they would obviously rather keep the President in office. |

The Mods have a job to keep the Politics section active and maintain its traffic, and obviously from what i see that section is filled with immature and junk threads. So obviously they wanna get anything that will get traffic to the frontpage, Even such a not so relevant thread like this because as it turns out this will get the exact reaction they want which is PDP supporters jumping at the chance to mock and attack and of course Pro-APC guys will come to the defense which is exactly what happened. Although I've seen absolutely nothing that smart posted in this thread anyway aside from the usual petty political jabs that has now taken over this forum. Isn't it so beautiful what this Politics section has became |

cosmatika: Muhammadu Buhari On BBC HardTalk With Stephen Sackur SS: Good day Mr. Buhari, welcome to BBC HardTalk. MB: Thanks Stephen **smiles** SS: Now you have declared to contest again, can we know your agenda Sir? MB: To grab power from PDP SS: I mean, your manifesto Sir? MB: I said to grab power from PDP SS: Ok, how can you improve the economy? MB: I will fight corruption SS: What are your plans for healthcare and education? MB: I will stop corruption SS: What's your plan for housing and urban development? MB: I will kill corruption SS: How can you fix insecurity, especially Boko Haram? MB: I will murder corruption SS: How can you build roads and upgrade infrastructure? MB: I will finish corruption SS: What are your plans for youths empowerment and agriculture? MB: I will destroy corruption SS: Excuse me Sir, why is your agenda centred on corruption alone? MB: It’s because the corruption under Goodluck Jonathan is unprecedented and I'm the only person that can end it. SS: Really and you didn't end it during Abacha's regime when Nigeria was the most corrupt country in the world in 1997, second most corrupt country in 1996 and third in 1998 according Transparency International Report? You quietly served under that most corrupt government and nobody heard your voice about corruption. MB: **his face changes** I beg your pardon Stephen. Did you bring me here to insult me? Was this what we discussed when you invited me? SS: Mr. Buhari, this is BBC HardTalk - a no-hold barrel interview session. Pls, can you kindly answer my question? MB: I ain't gonna answer you (he tries to speak like an American but with Fulani accent) SS: Why Mr. Buhari? MB: Because I wasn't the president then SS: Ok, that reminds me. During your illegitimate regime (1983-85), you jailed the following persons between 70-100 years jail terms even when some of them did nothing: Alex Ekweume, Sam Mbakwe, Ambrose Ali, Emeka Ojukwu, Lateef Jakande, Jim Nwobodo and Fela etc. MB: They were corrupt. That was why I jailed them. SS: What about Ibrahim Awwal - your personal friend and the then governor of Niger state? MB: He was not corrupt SS: Excuse me Sir. Ibrahim Awwal was arrested at Heathrow airport right here in London with £14m. You simply placed him under house arrest for few weeks; the same way you placed Shehu Shagari (the then president) under house arrest, but locked up Alex Ekweme (the VP) in Kirikiri. Why? MB: Ain't gonna stay here and listen to this f**king bullshit (still speaking like an American) SS: Mr. Buhari, it seems you're a tribal bigot because it's on record that you never jailed corrupt politicians from your region even when they were the most corrupt. ---------------------------------- At this point Buhari couldn't bear it anymore. He got up and grabbed Stephen Sackur on his shirt collar. Met Police invaded the studio and got him arrested. The Police said, do you think here is Nigeria where you threaten "dogs and baboon" or where you lament that the "fight against Boko Haram is war against the north"? This is the United Kingdom...you'll be jailed for assault! Buhari stops speaking like an American and switches to Hausa language: Don Allah kada ku kurkuku ni. Kamar mayar da ni zuwa Nijeriya. Wani ya kamata don Allah sa ni El-Rufai wayar o. (Please do not jail me. Just send me back to Nigeria. Someone should please get me El-Rufai phone o) LMAO! So, writing this crap is like the biggest achievement in your pathetic life huh? poor thing |

First of all Ajami isnt used in anything in the North anymore except for a few Islamic schools. And even that is very few.
Secondly i find it completely pathetic how the Moderator and ofcourse Both the Muslims and christians made this a big deal on this forum.
I wanna ask the Muslims here who do you know that uses Ajami? So why should it bother you because its removed from the currency for whatever reasons. Why turn everything into an 'Us vs Them'
Then of course the Non-Muslims that had nothing but negativity to post here, I only want to point out how utterly and ridiculously stupid you are for actually making something as small as this some sort of Major issue.
Its just so laughable how you people have some irrational fear of 'Arabic Language', but oh well its your problem.
Someone said something about 'Hausa's think they own the country' So In your tiny peanut brain you actually believe Ajami was used on the currency because 'Hausas think they own the country' and not because in the 1960 era people were using it to identify the currency?
And lastly i wanna say to the Muslims (the first few that bothered to reply) here the biggest mistake you made was giving these people the excuse to turn this into a Muslim hating thread although from what i saw it only took a few posts from Maclatunji to gather the congregation of Anti-Muslims.
Summary: No One in the North cares about removing Ajami from the currency, nobody uses Ajami outside Islamic schools. The reactions of Non-Muslims in this thread is nothing but a showcasing of their ignorance, stupidity and hate, but those are all the norms in Nigeria so it really doesn't matter anyway. |

Politics › Re: Group Exposes Sponsor Of Buhari's Campaigns• by Manazz(m): 12:35am On Oct 25, 2014 |
Nextlevel0007: A political interest group, the Turaki Vanguard, has asked former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), to withdraw from the 2015 presidential race.
The group, made up of loyalists of the former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, said in a statement on Thursday that Buhari, having contested three times and lost, cannot add anything new to the fortunes of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in next year’s presidential election.
“We are making this call on the former head of state with all sense of responsibility having in mind that Buhari will neither enrich the race nor enhance the political fortunes of the opposition APC which Nigerians hope will salvage their country from the 15 years of death grip and mis-governance of the PDP,” the group said.
Both Buhari and Atiku are among the frontrunners seeking the APC’s ticket for the presidential election.
The group’s call came on the heels of a similar admonition by a popular Islamic cleric, Sheik Ahmed Gumi, who advised Buhari, against running for the president for the fourth time.
In a statement issued by its National President, Oladimeji Fabiyi, the Turaki Vanguard said: “We, the members of the Turaki Vanguard, a political pressure group operating independently of the Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation, having carefully monitored and observed recent pro-Buhari activities sponsored by the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), hereby call on him to quit the presidential race.”
However, what came as a surprise is the group’s allegation that the ruling PDP, might have been pushing for the Buhari candidacy, because they are sure of defeating him and would be comfortable with his candidacy.
“In making this call, we are mindful of the need for all patriotic Nigerians to help prevent another political ridicule of a former Nigerian leader like Buhari, which would be unavoidable if he continues with his 2015 aspiration.
“We hope the elderly and revered General will heed our advice and those of other respectable Nigerians like Sheikh Ahmad Gumi,” it added.

overhypedsteve: first of all let me introduce myself by calling you a big phool for putting " pathetic and nigerians in the same sentence" ok now that you know why i am here ( to correct your weak minded opinion) i will now regale you with my superior intellectual resourcefulness by stating clearly to you that there is a reason why every nation have its own news media and one of those reasons is that it defends the international reputation of its host country through the use of propaganda or counter propaganda, take for example BBC may say "nigerian army incompetent and ran from boko haram" now that can be regarded as a propaganda why? Because the nigerian defence information dept have not given any statement to that effect. So when you see a nigerian news service saying " US comes to learn from Nigeria on ebola containment" it might be true or it might be what we call " institutionalized propaganda " just to tell the nigerian public that the competence of the nigerian health workers have surpassed global best practices. So my friend before you call the guys at vanguard pathetic, you must first of all ask yourself " 1. am i intellectually competent enough to understand the detailed intricacies of international journalism? 2. Am i as a single individual in a better position to dictate for the professionals at vanguard what they should and should not publish? 3. What knowledge do i have of the international system and journalism as an instrument in the formation of states policy? Actually, Nigerians are way more than Pathetic, but since i really don't give a shlt about this I'm gonna stop here. |

1. There's no religious sentiments in this since they're both Muslims which would must likely piss a lot of people in Kaduna South so i don't see them going en mass to vote for Ramalan Yero since he has done nothing for them anyway.
2. He also has done nothing reasonable anywhere else in the state, So he's certainly not gonna get the support of the Hausa people especially since they're eternally loyal to any party Buhari is with evident by the fact that both senators that won in Kaduna NC and Kaduna North are from CPC and one even beat the Ex PDP Governor Ahmed Makarfi for the seat. |
