When I was there there was this joint we normally hang out, to my suprise you would see an eiye , a pirate and an ax man drinking beer together in harmony and they talk about their ruthless doings in their school, and they would all be brothers or cousins or something. pslm23: Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. This is indeed a road i never thought i'd walk! When i said "I Do" to him, i fully intended to stay married forever. What this has taught me though is that we as humans might have our own pre-conceived ideas on how we want our lives to turn out but in the long run,God has the ultimate say so!

I will not entirely lay the blame on him because yes, this IVF thing really took its toll on me but that does not warrant what he did, how he did it, putting me, my health and everything i have ever worked for at such great risk. Not knowing if i was going to be told i had contracted some horrible disease that will kill me and to cap it all, he was unapologetic. The ultimate betrayal is telling your wife, that you intentionally took that male birth control measure because you never really wanted any more children cos you have grown children from your first marriage! All these years of IUI, IVF and trying to be a mommy, and it took catching him with a street walker for the truth to come out! I thought i had a happy fulfilled marriage that was only lacking one thing, a child!
This is why i asked, how do i learn to breathe again in a normal way? how can i remove this heaviness from my heart? How will i ever trust anybody again, man or woman!

I am still in therapy, i have travelled to be with my sister and her kids, but the pain is still there. I loved that man with all my heart! I really did! One day, i will stand strong again but i doubt if i ever will love again like i did!

The fact is America is about four times older, more industralized and more developed than Nigeria. Nigeria is barely 52 years of age and we are bound to have problems, we cannot asin cannot be the perfect Nation as at now, No way!( just so people know... there's no perfect nation) ...please feel free to correct me if there's another country 52 years of age that is on the same level with the United Sates. Comparing both countries is like comparing a 40 year old man to a 12 year old boy and asking why the boy isn't as wise, as agile or as diligent as the man. I can and will never ridicule my Country ( I can comment on its problems but I can't write the country off) . Yes, Nigeria has problems; the educational sector isnt swell hence private schools, no sort of healthcare, electricity and security is not left out....but hey, Rome wasn't built in a day......you don't expect Nigeria to be as industralized as the US only after 52 years? Do you?, like is it magic? Each problem Nigeria faces as of today will be systematically dealt with in due time and that is for sure. I always say it....."Nigerian and PROUD!" and to me Nigeria is already blessed.

You could have a point if Awo and the Yorubas had stayed away and see if Igbos will pull out of the mess called Nigeria. Katsumoto: Damn, English grammar is so difficult for many Biafrans. It appears that many don’t know about conditional clauses and its uses in sentence construction. A conditional clause is used to express that the action in the main clause will only occur IF a certain condition/action is actualized.

Let’s take a look at what Awo said’
If the Eastern Region is allowed by acts of omission or commission to secede from or opt out of Nigeria, then the Western Region and Lagos must also stay out of the Federation.

Simply put, IF Nigeria allows the East to secede, then the West would also opt out of Nigeria. Nothing in there suggests that Awo promised/threatened to pull out of Nigeria with Biafra. The main action in that statement is that the West WILL secede and the conditional clause is IF the East is allowed by acts of omission or commission to secede. As long as the East wasn’t successful in its bid to secede, the main action CANNOT occur.
If Awo wanted to promise that the West would secede with the East, he would have said, ‘the West WILL also declare secession if the East declares secession’. In Awo’s comment, he is STATING that the secession of the East is contingent upon action or inaction on the part of the rest of the Nigerian Federation.

I dare any of you to produce a text in which Awo stated that the Yoruba were going to secede with Biafra. What concerned the Yoruba with Biafra? Was Awo your leader? Bloddy failures who bit of more than they could chew and then resorted to blaming the man who warned them severally about the contraption called Nigeria and the dangers of seceding.
