The civil war really traumatized the Igbo race. I still can't believe the number of people mentally enslaved by Nnamdi Kanu, an unemployed, uncouth, mentally ill charlatan from London. You have to have some very deep trauma to be this gullible.
I laugh, cos that's all I can do if I don't want to boil over in anger at people who seem to take some perverse pleasure in embarrassing themselves before other Nigerians. It certainly embarrasses me, and I don't know how low one's IQ has to be not to have the self-awareness to understand how all these pathetic antics degrade Igbos before the world. Biafra agitation does not have to devolve into insanity. It can be a focused, coherent, intellectual movement underpinned by substantive debate about the whys and whats and hows. The Ipob movement though seems to have no shred of strategic though beyond simply constituting as big a nuisance as possible.

There are political costs for this stupidity. ANy Igbo man with aspirations to run for national office has a very hard to impossible job because of IPOB moorons. Worst thing is I don't meet people like this in real life. I would like to, so I can explore what drives people with functioning brains to such insanity. I don't even meet them on platforms like Facebook. I only seem to witness the lunacy on forums like this one. Which makes me wonder if these lunatics are deliberately trolling under the anonymity of the internet or they are really this imbecilic to believe the things they spout.

Kanu and IPOB are exposing good and upright Igbos to ridicule. What is more sad in this world than trying to align yourself with others who reject and dismiss you as illegitimate?

I personally hate to see this, as a proud black man, and feel shame sensible Igbos have not risen up to shut Kanu up. This is not about Nigerians alone. It is about racial pride and black folks still behaving like slaves and wanting to align themselves with their Oyinbo "masters" by force when we have our own culture and way of life we should be proud of and promote.

Kanu and IPOB should tell us how Naija music conquered the world to now be blasted on the streets of London, New york and Paris with Oyinbos even singing along in Igbo and Yoruba . It happened when our musicians stopped trying to be Tupac and Jay z and went back to our African afro beats root and were singing in Yoruba, Igbo and our unique pidjin naija english. God bless patriotic Nigerian pioneers like Tony Tetuila, 2 face Idibia, Timaya, Bracket, 9ice, Dbanj et al who showed our unique naija-style music could rock the world and challenge hip hop, western pop et al.

Kanu is a self-hating black man, who sees nothing good in his own race, and is always trying desperately to identify with white skin. This is why he insults black people , and even his own fellow Igbos, daily. He is one of the brainwashed black folks who live abroad and think the white man is superior and a model for how we must live. Sad.
