Money Laundry is an offence in nigeria. Why I s EFCC nog looking into that, even if the shady contract with NNPC is Ok. Which I doubt would be. Why can't they just do a straight forward business and enjoy the profits. Why steal, when you know somebody somewhere would find out or dig out.

Baffles me sometimes the way these politician think.

If that's what you believe, then I must say your not thinking deep. Saraki's. Trial in CCT is not case of filing wrong Asset declaration on his way to the senate chambers but went he became gov of kwara state in 2007. That's about 9 years back.
What do you think now.
May he successfully evade the cont. Of the trial. But it's on record and would always be used to hunt him to keep quiet or better still be persued Bu those who want him down. Either way, his only option is to find dirtys on who ever is hunting him and not the messenger delivering the message. He stops this messenger another would come to deliver the message. Stop the person sending them and have peace.

Ok please show Buhari buying his own petrol before he became president!
I can't possibly show in pictures cos I don't have any, but I vividly tell you this and you can ask anybody who stays in katsina or daura. There was a period before he became president, during fuel scarcity and long queue. He went to buy fuel also on getting to the filling station. He humble himself by staying the line and waiting for his turn. One of the Taxi drive waiting in line saw him and alerted everyone that the former head of State was in line. At which point all of them in paved the for him to buy. Saying his an elder stateman and should be waiting in line with them. Why am I telling u this story, so u understand his humble nature and that if during those period. There was no fuel attendant then but serve yourself he would have just like very other Nigerian would have been doing so.

Op, this was b4 he became president and your president was like that. You can't and I repeat cannot see putin buy fuel, let alone serving himself as president. When there are Aides to handle that and if it indeed taking recently, then it is to market a policy by the gov't or promote it.

A Situation, where the hunted becomes the hunter. Saraki fighting back. But of what effect is it. If the senate succeed in indicting the current chairman the next new 1 to be appointed by the gov't would cont. His case at the CCT.

Well, like I said, people pray for different reasons.

I'm not the kind who prays so that God can wield a magic wand and make all our problems go away.
No.

Prayer has a way of changing my attitude to things.
Matter of fact, I don't pray always.
But when I do, it usually counts for something.

I understand your angle, but one thing you should ask yourself is that, during the time of those corporate prayers, what was the state of mind of those who prayed?

Some of them harboured bitterness and unforgiveness.
Others were praying and had intentions of going to do worse things tomorrow.

My prayers today deepened my understanding that true change starts with me.
It helped me totally forgive two of my good friends who happen to be NLers. I was able to see the good in them again.
It has helped not to harbour evil thoughts against the persons who are deliberately seeking to anger me on this thread.

If that's not a miracle what celebrating, I wonder what is. There's power in prayer, when done rightly. I believe that much.
It's unfortunate, when u pray rightly the changes starts with you, not wielding magic wand.

Nigeria does not need prayers. We have had enough if that and more than enough of that.

What we need is a nation of people who are willing to be selfless and put the interest of the country before other things.

What we need are people who just look beyond their cubicle to see into the future and are willing to sacrifice their own present.

What we need are people who will respect the law and are willing to be patient and strong.

What we need are people who will not sacrifice national values on the altar of religion and tribal insanity

What we need are humans with human feeling.

We have prayed enough, now it is time to get off our backsides and get to work

Then it should start with us. Me, you and Every Nigerian. Perhaps then you would know GOD has answered our Prayers.

GOD help us All.

Good Morning Everyone

I had finished my workout sessions and decided to try out the new earpiece my little Sis "dashed" me, and a Christian song by Frank Edwards was in play.
I thought to seize the opportunity to pray for my loved one who was going through tumultuous times, and before I knew it, I started praying passionately for Nigeria. I prayed for the president! I was in tears.
Those who know my political antecedents here would understand that I am more an anti-Buharist and even more anti-APC....

But this morning, none of that mattered. I was led by something higher to drop all forms of bitterness, and complaining, and reservations; for the love of dear country, for the love of humanity.

Muslims, Christians, Budhists, Atheists, Igbo, Yoruba, PDP, APC, Partyless Opposition, SS, Northerner....No matter who and what you are. Today, I enjoin us‎ to take a little time from our busy schedule and say a word of prayer for our Nigeria and for the leadership of this country. Today, it dawned on me, that it doesn't matter what has been done or undone, every day presents a chance to chart a new course in our history, in our lives.

Let today, the 1st day of November, 2015 start a movement of healing that would sweeps across the fabric of this nation.

Let every structure of negativity and bitterness and unforgiveness that so seeks to continually divide us‎ be pulled down.

Today, irrespective of our religious, political and tribal affiliation, we declare that it is well with Nigeria.
We declare that it is well with our president and every arm of leadership of this nation.

Our Divine Creator will save, Our Divine Creator will deliver.

God bless us all.‎
Amen.

May ALLAH the Almighty Creator bless you, your siblings and the entire Citizens of Nigeria Home and Aboard.
ALLAH renew our Bond,Love and our conviction to succeed as a nation Called Nigeria.
ALLAH make us fulfill our Goals, achievement and the goals of our Founding Fathers.
Bless our founding father were they are and make there soul Rest in piece.
Bless our current leaders and give them the fortitude to do the right thing irrespective of party Affiliation. Give them the heart to feel the poor masses and give them the strenght to lead us through the right path.
Ameen Ameen.

Mizmycoli, You just renewed my love for country Nigeria. Therfore am renewing my Pledge again.
I PLEDGE TO NIGERIA MY COUNTRY. TO FAITHFULL, LOYAL AND HONEST. TO SERVE NIGERIA WITH ALL MY STRENGTH. TO DEFEND HER UNITY, AND UPHOLD HER HONOUR AND GLORY. SO HELP ME GOD.

GOD Bless Nigeria and everyplace else .

Governors are mini-presidents too. Prior to the nullification of his election, wike had a hands-on approach to gorvenance. Same can be said of El-rufal and Governor Ikpeazu of abia despite that those were new governors coming on board and were facing similar challenges to the Federal government. So that idea of allowing him time to fully grasp the challenges facing the nation is so old-school right now.

Gov Ikpeazu of Abia, was luck to have a prudent former governor that managed the state resources better. The bailout fund it got from FG was channeled to capital projects and sort current reoccurring cost, Kaduna yes the FG could emulate her but the difference is FG had to deal with the national problem of bailing out most of the state that could not pay salaries. The state don't have that problem to deal with, as for the rivers state gov't borrowing go start capital project with thinking of paying back using dwindling oil price which having Hugh effects on the economy is just piling Hugh debt on the country. In all, my opinion is with the dwindling oil prices. Its better to know the nature of the economy in regards to demand and supply, the stabilising factor, and blocking or plunging or loopholes to wastage. Then we can begin downsizing, cut cost of running gov't, and open new opportunities in other sectors. With policies like this, jobs are created and more wealth for the nation or economy but this is a long term thing.
