Politics / Re: Your Son Is A Rapist, You Cannot Be An Ambassador Here by mandiiee(f): 8:28pm On Sep 18, 2009
davidylan:

What is even funny is that according to the story cited, the US didnt even give a reason for rejecting Adeniran, we are the ones assuming they rejected him because of his son.
lol, ok that is hilarious if they didn't really state His son's issue as a reason for His disapproval. Then the argument is not even valid.
Politics / Re: Your Son Is A Rapist, You Cannot Be An Ambassador Here by mandiiee(f): 8:24pm On Sep 18, 2009
davidylan:

I said in my earlier post, they dont need a reason to reject him . . .

well exactly, they shouldn't give the silly reason, its very upsetting!
Politics / Re: Your Son Is A Rapist, You Cannot Be An Ambassador Here by mandiiee(f): 8:20pm On Sep 18, 2009
davidylan:

I do not know the status of the son.

Actually the US does not require a reason to reject Adeniran. If they used the son as an excuse they even tried.

the problem is not "rejecting him", it is the REASON that they are giving that is not justifiable.
Politics / Re: Your Son Is A Rapist, You Cannot Be An Ambassador Here by mandiiee(f): 8:18pm On Sep 18, 2009
He is an adult, He is responsible for his actions, He committed the crime, He didn't need his fathers consent to do that, Its our govt that is being represented , If we think he is a suitable Nigerian representative  despite His son's allegations,  then THE U.S SHOULD BACK OFF!!, when did they start applying that kind of family linked morality stands in appointments

Health / Re: How To Erase Tribal Marks? by mandiiee(f): 5:56am On Sep 17, 2009
Princek12:

you are a fool. Yes--a fool. A big one for that matter. For you to lump up amala, ewedu--a staple in Yoruba culture--into one box  with tribal marks to be attacked by your xenophobic comments exemplifies how much of a buffoon you really are. To call amala, ewedu, and tribal marks cowardly, insulting, ugly, black, , shows that you lack self esteem, and you are trying to downgrade another just to uplift your moronic self. And to implicitly ridicule amala, ewedu, and tribal marks by referral to religion--"they are too religious, christian, muslim,"--shows that you have no regard for God.

hahahaha, easy!!,, did you actually get what she was trying to say?, nahh i dont think so.

Look at the posts. No one is generalizing. We are just wondering why she is being manipulative. The man is sick and has admitted. She is covertly and overtly persuading him to run, when she knows his life is at stake.I believe she has some hidden agenda

oh great, i know that already and I actually said something about her greedy attitude, I was only referring to the post i highlighted previously,

yeah i know that, but it has got nothing to do with women and their inability to handle power, it just doesnt make sense to generalize like that,
