More than 1 million people on Twitter worldwide have called for the resignation of Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari over lack of addressing the nation amidst the coronavirus outbreak.

#BuhariResign is trending #1 in Nigeria, and #3 worldwide, after Muslim influencer and reformist Imam, Mohammad Tawhidi took to Twitter again to call out the President Buhari on Twitter.

A Muslim influencer and reformist Imam, Mohammad Tawhidi on Friday took to Twitter to mock the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari following the wrong pronunciation of the COVID-19.

The self-acclaimed Peace Advocate, Imam of Peace said Buhari still doesn’t know the name of the virus killing people.

"The President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari still doesn’t know the name of the virus killing 24,000+ at such a rapid rate," he said.

"Addressing the nation about it for the first time, he pronounced the virus as 'CIVIK 1-9'. His friend, Imran Khan, thinks Japan and Germany share a border," the 37 years old man said.

"I love Nigeria. I have one Nigerian friend and she’s amazing. One of the most successful and honest people I know. I also welcome my new Nigerian followers on Twitter. You have a beautiful country but it would be more beautiful without the terrorism enabled by Dictator Buhari"

"More lies. I am not Nigerian nor am I a follower of Zakzaky and the terrorist regime in Iran. I despise Zakzaky. Criticizing Buhari doesn’t mean I support Zakzaky. I reject them both. I take orders from one person only and that person is my lady."

At the time of writing this report, some Nigerian's are roasting him while some are praising him.

The special adviser on media and publicity to President Muhammadu, Femi Adesina said on Thursday the reason President Buhari is not making regular briefing on the coronavirus COVID-19 is a matter of style.

Femi who is also a journalist revealed on Channels TV that his master is not like every other leader in the world.

"Every president has his style. Buhari's style is to give you an assignment and allow you to carry it out without interference," Femi Adesina said.

"If it becomes imperative for the President to speak, he will speak," he added.

The first dog in the world to be found with the coronavirus COVID-16 died on Monday after testing negative for the virus, according to Hong Kong’s animal welfare authority.

The 17-year-old Pomeranian dog which belonged to a 60-year-old woman who recovered from the virus herself and refused to allow the city’s Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) to conduct an autopsy on her dog.

The woman was said to have been under mandatory quarantine at a government facility since February 26 and returned home last Saturday, where the dog was tested five times it all returned “weak positive” results for the virus.

The results carried out on March 12 and 13 proved that Pomeranian samples were negative that the department allowed it to leave the centre and return home.

The department said earlier the genetic make-up of the virus found in the dog and its human contacts were very similar.

So far, apart from the Pomeranian, the other three animals: cat, a Shiba Inu and a mongrel they all tested negative for the deadly virus.

More than 31,500 people in Italy have been infected with coronavirus while 2,503 has been killed by the virus — the most in any country outside of China, where the virus originated in Wuhan since January, officials said Tuesday.

The coronavirus has now spread to six continents in 170 countries around the world has killed more than 8,272 people and infected more than 205,598 with 82,889 recoveries, mostly in China.

According to index-reports, on Wednesday 118 out of about 600 family doctors in Italy have been infected, and a 65-year-old doctor has died.

Today, A 57-year-old doctor was the secretary of the Federation of General Practitioners of Lodi died. A week ago, a 67-year-old family doctor, president of the Varese Medical Association, had died.

At the time of writing this report, Iran has recorded 147 new death, China 11, Spain 90, Netherlands, 15 and USA 7.

Democratic Republic of Congo has confirmed its first case of deadly coronavirus, according to health ministry spokeswoman on Tuesday.

Congolese health minister Eteni Longondo said on Radio Okapi, the patient is a Belgian citizen who had been in Congo for several days. He and others with him have been placed in quarantine.

Congo case has brought the number to eight African countries with coronavirus. The coronavirus COVID-19 has affected 116 countries around the world as of Tuesday, 10 March 2020.

Nigeria’s first “presumptive” case of the deadly coronavirus that has killed more than 2,814 people with 82,589 cases in six continents on Thursday, 27 February.

The case is an Italian citizen who works in Nigeria and returned from Milan, Italy to Lagos, Nigeria on the 25th of February 2020. He was confirmed by the Virology Laboratory of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, part of the Laboratory Network of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.

"The Honourable Minister of Health has announced a confirmed coronavirus disease (COVID-19) case in Lagos State"

The case, which was confirmed on the 27th of February 2020, is the first case to be reported in Nigeria since the beginning of the outbreak in China in January 2020," the officials said.

The Honourable Minister of Health Federal Ministry of Health, Dr. E. Osagie Ehanire has assures Nigerians that measures are in place.

"The patient is clinically stable and is being managed at the Infectious Disease Hospital Yaba"

to identify contacts & initiate response accordingly, he added.

A Nigerian man from Edo State, Benin, who lives in Ekewan trade fair ogbebuay merciless beat his wife over infidelity leading to the woman loosing four teeth, MandyNews reports.

According to report sighted by MandyNews.com on Wednesday (Febuary 19), the man was arranging to relocate his family from Benin to Canada. Hence, the Embassy requested DNA. The trouble started when the result of the test was said to have revealed that all the three (3) children his wife claimed to have born for him are not his biological children.

Therefore, the man returned to demand explanation from his wife; as she couldn't quickly say anything convincing to the man, he pounced on her and beat her black and blue.

And the friends of the wife started circulating the battered pictures of the woman on social media with the caption, "See how a man beat his wife and removed her 4 teeth!" But they didn't include the reason for the beating.
