Musharraf:
JESUS IS NEITHER A SON OF GOD NOR A GOD, BUT HE IS ONE OF THE PROPHETS OF GOD ALMIGHTY.

Only GOD is perfect, in fact Jesus Christ is not according to your bible

In Jesus' defense, at the very outset, I must point out that the Gospels were not written until many decades after his death. He might not have said and done any of the things people said he did. In fact, he might just be a myth. My point here is that the Jesus presented in the Bible is not perfect or worthy of worship.

Point 1: Jesus replied to the man who called him "good master": "Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone." (Mark 10:18)
Jesus denied that he was perfect or God
-
Point 2: Jesus was asked if he was going to Judea for the festival of Tabernacles: "As the Jewish feast of Tabernacles drew near, his brothers said to him, 'Why not leave this place and go to Judea...'" (John 7:2,3)
Jesus replied: "I am not going to this festival, because for me the time is not ripe yet." (John 7:8,9)
but Jesus did go to that festival in secret: "However, after his brothers had left for the festival, he went up as well, but quite privately, without drawing attention to himself." (John 7:10)
So Jesus was a liar.
-
Point 3: Jesus spurned the afflicted child of a gentile, likening them to dogs:
"Jesus left that place and withdrew the region of Tyre and Sidon. Then out came a Canaanite woman from that district and started shouting, 'Sir, Son of David, take pity on me. My daughter is tormented by a devil.' But he answered her not a word. And his disciples went and pleaded with him. 'Give her what she wants,' they said, 'because she is shouting after us.' He said in reply, 'I was sent only to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.' But the woman had come up and was kneeling at his feet. 'Lord,' she said, 'help me.' He replied, 'It is not fair to take the children's food and throw it to the dogs.' She retorted, 'Ah yes, sir; but even dogs can eat the scraps that fall from their master's table.' Then Jesus answered her, 'Woman, you have great faith. Let your wish be granted.' And from that moment her daughter was well again. (Matt. 15:21-28)
What a callous attitude towards a suffering child just because she wasn't Jewish.
-
Point 4: Jesus, was asked why his followers were breaking the Sabbath laws by reaping and eating grain from a field as they went along. He replied:
"Did you never read what David did in his time of need when he and his follwers were hungry - how he went into the house of God when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the loaves of offering which only the priests are allowed to eat, and how he also gave some to the men with him?" (Mark 2:25-26)
Jesus was in error. It was not Abiathar but Ahimelech who was high priest: "David went to Nob to Ahimelech the priest.... the priest gave him what had been consecrated, for the only bread there was the bread of offering which is taken away from the presence of the Lord to be replaced by warm bread when it is removed" (1 Sam. 21:1,6).
-
Point 5: Jesus was a false prophet.
At his trial, he told the High Priest Caiaphas would see that he would see his coming in power:
"...Moreover, I tell you that from this time onward you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven." (Matt. 26:64)
Caiaphas died, and Jesus' still has not arrived in power thousands of years later. The penalty for false prophets is death.
But this was not the only occasion that Jesus was a false prophet. In Matthew 24: 34 Jesus said "I tell you solemnly, before this generation has passed away all these things will have taken place" in reponse to his disciples question: "Tell us, when is this going to happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the world?"
Jesus did not return in his generation nor the dozens of generations that followed. And still some gullible people expect him!
-
Point 6: Jesus' teachings were kept secret so most people would go to Hell: "When he was alone, the Twelve, together with the others who formed his company, asked what the parables meant. He told them, 'The secret of the kingdom of God is given to you, but to those who are outside everything comes in parables, so that they may see and see again, but not perceive; may hear and hear again, but not understand; OTHERWISE THEY MIGHT BE CONVERTED AND BE FORGIVEN.'" (Mark 4:10-12)
What an evil attitude! And this is the man we are told was sent to the lost sheep of the House of Israel? He is probably the worst preacher that ever lived.
-
Point 7: Jesus claimed the mustard seed is the smallest of all seeds and grows into a tree that can shelter birds in its branches:
"It (a mustard seed) is the smallest of all seeds, but when it is grown it is the biggest shrub of all and becomes a tree so that the birds of the air come and shelter in its branches."
But the Mustard seed is not the smallest herb seed and the plant when full grown is only a meter to a meter and a half tall, not even close to the size of a tree.
-
Point 8: Jesus said "No one has gone up to heaven except the one who came down from heaven, the Son of Man who is in heaven..." (John 3:13). I guess Jesus never heard of Elijah who was taken up to heaven in a flaming chariot!
-
Point 9: Jesus destroyed a fig tree for not having fruit even though it wasn't the season for figs to bear fruit:
"Next day as they were leaving Bethany, he felt hungry. Seeing a fig tree in leaf some distance away, he went to see if he could find any fruit on it, but he he came up to it he found nothing but leaves; FOR IT WAS NOT THE SEASON FOR FIGS. And he addressed the fig tree. 'May no one ever eat fruit from you again,' he said. And his disciples heard him say this." (Mark 11:12-14)
This took place just before Passover which occurs in March or April. Figs cannot be expected in Israel until June. To destroy an innocent tree for not having fruit when it wasn't even in season does not reflect well on Jesus. He displayed ignorance and pettiness.
-
Point 10: According to Matthew, Jesus accused the Jewish leaders of murdering Zechariah son of Barachiah: "...Zechariah son of Barachiah whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar." (Matthew23:35).
Unfortunately, the Zachariah mentioned was slain in Jerusalem, 69 CE; so that Matthew makes Jesus refer to an event that occurred 39 years after his death in the past tense.
Referring to this passage, the Catholic scholar Dr. Hug says: "There cannot be a doubt, if we attend to the name, the fact and its circumstances, and the object of Jesus in citing it, that it was the same Zacharias Barouchos, who, according to Josephus, a short time before the destruction of Jerusalem, was unjustly slain in the temple."
Commenting on this passage, Prof. Newman says: "There is no other man known in history to whom the verse can allude. If so, it shows how late, how ignorant, how rash is the composer of a text passed off on us as sacred truth" (Religion not History, p. 46).
-
Point 11: What did Jesus' own relatives think about him?
"When his relatives heard of this, they set out to take charge of him, convinced he was out of his mind." (Mark 3:21)
"Not even his brothers, in fact, had faith in him..." (John 7:5)
Of course, Jesus seemed to have a problem with family relationships.
"If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple" (Luke 14:26).
He appeared to follow his own advice. "His mother and brothers now arrived and, standing outside, sent in a message asking form him, 'Your mother and brothers and sisters are outside asking for you.' He replied, 'Who are my mother and my brothers?' And looking around at those sitting in a circle about him, he said, 'Here are my mother and brothers. Anyone who does the will of God, that person is my brother and sister and mother.'
Jesus expected his followers to be at war with their families:
"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law" (Matthew 10, 34, 35).
What kind of family values is that? No wonder his family thought him insane.

Luke 22:35-36 Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you out to preach the Good News and you did not have money, a traveler’s bag, or an extra pair of sandals, did you need anything?” “No,” they replied. “But now,” he said, “take your money and a traveler’s bag. Bible Verses That Indicate Jesus Is Not God The Creator

1. Matthew 24:36
No one knows about that day or hour, not even the Son , but the
Father only.
Here Jesus makes a distinction between what he knows and what the Father knows.

2. Matthew 26:39
My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me, yet not as I will, but as Thou will.
Jesus’ will is likewise autonomous from God’s Will. Jesus is seeking acquiescence to God’s will.

3. John 5:26
For as the Father has life in Himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself.
Jesus received his life from God. God received his life from no one. He is eternally self-existent.

4. John 5:30
By myself, I can do nothing: I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who has sent me.
Jesus says, “by myself, I can do nothing.” This indicates that Jesus is relying upon his own relationship with God. He is not trying to “please myself” but rather is seeking to “please the one who sent me.”

5. John 5:19
The Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees the Father doing, because whatever the Father does, the Son does also.
Jesus declares that he is following a pattern laid down by God. He is expressing obedience to God.

6. Mark 10:18
Why do you call me good ? No one is good, except God alone.
Here Jesus emphatically makes a distinction between himself and God.

7. John 14:28
The Father is greater than I.
This is another strong statement that makes a distinction between Jesus and God.

8. Matthew 6:9
Our Father, which art in Heaven.
He didn’t pray, Our Father, which art standing right here!”

9. Matthew 27:46
My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Inconceivable if he is God the Creator.

10. John 17:21-23
. . .that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you . May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. . ..that they may be one as we are one : I in them and you in me.
In this prayer Jesus defines the term “to be one.” It is clearly accomplished through the relationship of two autonomous beings. Christian believers are to model their relationship (to become one) after the relationship of God and Christ (as God and Christ are one). Notice that “to be one” does not mean to be “one and the same.”

11. 1 Corinthians 15:27-28
For he "has put everything under his feet." Now when it says that "everything" has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all .
Paul declares that God put everything under Christ, except God himself. Instead God rules all things through Christ. (remember: “through him all things were made.”)

12. Hebrews 1:3
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being.
Jesus is the exact representation of his being. I send my representative to Congress. He is not me, myself. He is my representative.

13. Hebrews 4:15 (compared with James 1:13)
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are —yet without sin.
Jesus has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet he never sinned. See
James 1:13: When tempted, no one should say, God is tempting me. For
God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt.
Jesus was tempted in every way, but God cannot be tempted. This is why Jesus said, “don’t call me good, none are good, only God.”

14. Hebrews 5:7-9
During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death , and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect , he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him
Jesus had to walk a course of faith and obedience in order to achieve perfection. By achieving perfection, Jesus “became” the source of eternal salvation
do you believe in Every thing you quoted

You believe that Jesus is the Son of God, because your quotes referred to Jesus has the son and God has the father

Jesus is the only one that claim equality with the Father no one else dare -John 10:30 (i and my Father are one)
Jesus forgave Sin which is the only prerogative of God - Luke 7:48
Jesus received worship that belong only to God - Matthew 2:11, matthew 14:33
Jesus was before the world was created - John 17:5
He was the One of whom Isaiah prophesied, "His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6).
It was because of Jesus claim of equality with the Father that gave him the death sentence: in John 5:18 — "The Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God."
i can continue to quote
but note this also, that the knowledge of who God his, is only limited to how much God has reveled himself to us, you cannot just pick what suite you from the bible and think you can define the God Head by them. God is more than you can ever imagine

thank you

Musharraf:
Point of correction, Jesus (PBUH) is not God.
Just point out a chapter or a verse in the bible where Jesus said, I AM GOD, WORSHIP ME.
Or that you should be going to church on Sunday, or that you should be going to Jerusalem, or that you should be a Christianhuh??
And I will convert to Christianity today
God does not need to be tempted and suffer in order to be able to understand and forgive man’s sins, for He is the all knowing Creator of man. This is expressed in the verse:
‘And the Lord said: ‘I have surely seen the affliction of My people that are in Egypt, and I have heard their cry because of their taskmasters; for I know their pains.’ (Exodus 3:7)
God forgave sin before Jesus’ appearance, and He continues to forgive without any assistance. When a believer sins, he may come before God in sincere repentance to receive forgiveness. Indeed, the offer to humble oneself before God and be saved is made to all humankind.
‘And there is no God else beside Me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside Me. Look to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else.’ (Isaiah 45:21-22, Jonah 3:5-10)
Biblically, people can receive forgiveness of sins through sincere repentance sought directly from God. This is true at all times and in all places. There has never been a need for the so-called inter cessionary role Jesus plays in attaining atonement. The facts speak for themselves. There is no truth to the Christian belief that Jesus died for our sins and salvation is only through Jesus. What about the salvation of people before Jesus? Jesus’ death brings neither atonement from sin, nor is it in any way a fulfillment of biblical prophecy.
Christians claim that in the birth of Jesus, there occurred the miracle of the incarnation of God in the form of a human being. To say that God became truly a human being invites a number of questions. Let us ask the following about the man-God Jesus. What happened to his foreskin after his circumcision (Luke 2:21) ?
Did it ascend to heaven, or did it decompose as with any human piece of flesh? During his lifetime what happened to his hair, nails, and blood shed from wounds? Did the cells of his body die as in ordinary human beings? If his body did not function in a truly human way, he could not be truly human as well as truly God. Yet, if his body functioned exactly in a human way, this would nullify any claim to divinity. It would be impossible for any part of God, even if incarnate, to decompose in any way and still be considered God. The everlasting, one God, in whole or in part, does not die, disintegrate, or decompose: ‘For I the Lord do not change.’ (Malachi 3:6)
God is a merciful God, but his also a God of judgement
his judgement for sin is death.
what is the use of forgiveness when the nature of sin (flesh) is still alive
the reason why God could not Forgive Adam
He sin caused death for the whole of humanity
because God told him the day he eat the fruit he will die
that death is spiritual (Eternal separation from God)
the remedy to this death is remission through the sacrifice of blood
an example is in the law of Moses where a lamb was used as an atonement for sin
this was a pointer to what God was still going to do in Christ Jesus
Through his death he gave us the remission of sin, healing to the body of Sin
He saved us and reconciled us to God, the relationship we lost through Adam.

So, brother don't depend on God forgiving you, God truly want to save you from the nature of sin
YOU NEED THE REMISSION OF YOUR SIN NOT FORGIVENESS
if God forgive you today you will always need forgiveness and you will not meet the criteria to no him because God is Holy and cannot behold your SIN

Jesus is the solution to the world sin and forgiveness is truly available only to those who have accepted Jesus and not for an unbeliever like you. what you need is the REMISSION OF YOUR SIN, which can only happen when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour

Except you want to claim that you are perfect, if your answer is NO, then you can never see God because God is perfect.

the solution to seeing and meeting God after you die is to accept God's solution to Sin and perfection - JESUS THE SON OF GOD

THANK YOU

I guess you can never commit sin again? is that Right?
1 john 3 1-10

7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.

when Christians sin, their fellowship with God is broken. They are still part of His family. They simply need to ask for forgiveness. Their way back into fellowship is found in First John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” When we do this, we once again stand in the presence of God as though we had never done wrong. When a child of God sins, he breaks fellowship with the Father but he does not break relationship.

MY POINT IS THAT FORGIVENESS IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO HAVE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST

OUTSIDE OF THIS RELATIONSHIP WHAT YOU NEED IS REDEMPTION (SALVATION FROM SIN THROUGH CHRIST JESUS) THAT IS WHAT BRINGS YOU INTO RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND ENTITLES YOU TO FORGIVENESS IN CASE YOU MISTAKENLY FALL INTO SIN

An example of this is when a husband and wife quarrel. They don’t break their relationship—they are still married. However, they have broken their fellowship, and they need to ask one another for forgiveness.

are you now saying because of Jesus Christ you have been redeemed from sin and you don't sin again.

See let me tell you something brother as long as you are in this flesh you will continue to commit sin and ask for forgiveness all the time. and stop saying Jesus Christ has redeem you from sin..even Jesus Christ in the bible said it in the lord prayer forgive us our trespasses.

Human being are bound to commit sin till we will die and If you ask for forgiveness God will forgive you but not that you say you have been redeemed from sin.

As you are don't you commit sin ,,even apostle Paul said it all have sinned and come short of the glory of God...
Are you saying because God forgives sin we should continue to sin and hope to be forgiven since we are only human

even in human setting as remorseful as an arm robber may be in judgement they still must face the wrath of the law

every soul that sin shall surely die.

Redemption is Christ saving us from the nature of the flesh which is easily dispose to sin. this is the only time you can have power over sin -Rom 6 14

YOUR QUOTE - NOT THE BOLD (ROMANS 3 22-27)
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who [b]justifies those who have faith in Jesus

human beings are bound to commit sin and bound to hell; the consequence of sin.

My friend, what is the 'word of God'? Was there no word of God before the bible. Read your bible very well and you will find out that Jesus never commissioned the bible, rather, he commissioned the apostles and gave them authority. The authority of the bible arises from apostolic authority. Therefore, as much as the bible has authority, it doesn't have sole authority as the 'word of God'. The traditions of the Church is apostolic since it has been followed by the Apostles and/or their successors. For example, the so called 'white wedding' isn't biblical, it's the Church's tradition.

Hear from angel jubril is only meant for Prophet of Allah. And that " hear" means revelation.. not ordinary hear.. understand?

because we pray to Allah means Quran and hadith are not sufficient?? why not you so dumb? huh? can't you read what you wrote before posting?

is it not Quran and Hadith that teach us how to pray to Allah?

you saying your Allah proves your level of ignorance. Eashoa Maskeena called God Allaha .. Go read Aramaic Bible. there are lots of things you don't know.. chai..
Guy you miss the point;

are you saying you receive guidance when your prayer are answered

guidance means to give direction on what to do and this should be the response you get from God when you pray. God's response can come through any means one of which is revelation

Guidance and answer to prayer are two different things

I asked for a ball, he guide me on what to do through revelation, i followed his guidance alas i got the ball, my prayer is answered

They lack proper understanding of islam. They have been hypnotized.
But if your prophet is so perfect like you claimed, why do you continue pray for allah peace upon him

well one thing is clear there is no peace for the wicked according the the scripture meaning if you are righteous you will have peace and no body will need to ask for peace on your behalf

as a Catholic, the Bible alone should not be your only 'go to authority' but also the Church's tradition and teachings of the magisterium
"you make the word of God of no effect because of your tradition" - ask the saduccess and pharisee

I know y Christian believers believe that Jesus is God is because of the nature of his birth but whereas its just God displaying the magnificent of his power to mankind that there is nothing he can't do.
sorry sir you are wrong,

the question you should have asked is that why did God go about Jesus birth this way?

the nature of his birth really has a message you should find out

the explanation is simple bro---i don't know its very hard for you to get this--even a primary school student will understand it

the koran is the criteria for checking the validity of the hadith and not the other way round--ones a teaching of the hadith contradicts that of the koran then the hadith is wrong cause the hadith is the work of men

Not everything in the hadith is wrong mind you-cause you are so quick to generalize-

Well done repeating a,b,c,d for you---if you still can't understand this--i think you need serious help
you means some of the information in your hadith were wrong when compare with the quaran.

are you saying the hadith has been corrupted just like you claim the bible

at this rate men, the quaran is terribly standing alone without any reference to substantiate its revelation

o ni ro lo ma ni eleri ohun was lorun ( only a liar will claim his witness is in heaven)

my brother..maybe you should go to the topic and read it carefully to see how it led us here--cause you probably didn't read it---we have discussed a lot of things outside the context of the topic (both islamic and otherwise)sir

----by the way you are not the op if any1 is beta positioned to talk of derailing it should be the op---
see the topic has been derailed

all the question you asking here as become muslim popular chorus and the answers you
have already

the question is since your hadith does not always confirm that truth of you quran, why still hold on to it because i can safely say that it is corrupt if it stand oppose to the quaran in some cases
